Parfait, parfait, parfait na namang muli!127908

So as you all know, my favorite dessert is Yogurt. and most of the time, I had my Sunday afternoon sesh at White Hat Shang-rila. However, I always order the usual original yogurt flavor, topped depends on my mood and taste buds, ...and I haven't tried any other from the menu.

I had an idea to try the parfait. This was the second parfait I have tried at white hat in Shang. The first I had was the banana split themed parfait. It was fine. Only there's the grahams which I didn't like.

So this one, was sweet and slightly dark in flavor. It is called Devilishly chocolate. (I hope I got it right) So thankfully, The yogurt itself is sour that It somehow fought the sweetness of the chocolate.

Anyway, any food is worth the try.128522

Been craving for a froyo ever since I saw that BLK513 ad in Megamall. So, I did open looloo and seached for yogurt and boom! Unfortunately 2 out of 3 yogurt shops in Shang Plaza is already closed so I ended up here.

I like the they have an actual menu, I'm used with Red Mango that I'll choose the size and the toppings.

The staffs are really friendly. I got the large (Php 135) with 2 scoops of almonds for Php20 / scoop.

Oh man this is kinda sour than Red Mango or it is just me. Hahahahaha

Went here dead set on ordering the usual froyo. Then we saw that they're now offering waffles & smoothies too. Waffle got the vote on which to order.

It was so good! Crunchy but not burnt, it was a perfect balance of tart & sweet! Yummeh in my belleh!

This alone can also be a meal on its own. 2 people or in our case 3 can share it as a dessert. Really not bad for P240 128076🏽

I must admit, I used to hate this yogurt bar before for having a super sour taste of products. But now, they bounced back to my expectations of producing fruity yummy yogurt goodness! Plus they do have cheesecake yogurts! The one on the photo is their RED VELVET yogurt cheesecake. The bottom part is sour. The middle and top is okay 128077

Loving these from white hat, first is the red velvet, its not the usual red velvet you order everyday, the texture is like cream cheese and it taste quite like cream cheese. I dont know if its really made of cream cheese but one thing for sure is ITS GREAT. Next is the yogurt, they might have change their yogurt mixture be because its not that sour anymore unlike before. This one is with bananas and brownies and still blends well.

My favorite Sunday-hangout-place is the white hat yogurt in Shang. Very peaceful and admit it, I'm a yogurt lover. 128523

This I tried their smoothies. I ordered their strawberry cheesecake smoothie which is a yogurt based one. There's the milk based smoothie which my sister got for herself that day. I am expecting it to be much sour than the usual, or am I expecting a Jamba-juice-kinda-sour? Hehe don't blame me! Anyway, it didn't disappoint me that much, because amidst sweetness is the soury taste that I am looking for, tho I an expecting less of the sweetness, it is good. For those who doesn't like the too-soury-taste-jamba-juice-style smoothie(of which I truly can live in one whole yr with just this) you can try this!!! 10084

Love the yogurt here. This is probably the only yogurt place that I could really appreciate the yogurt without needing so much topping. Had some fresh fruits topping my yogurt today. Really good healthier alternative for an afternoon merienda. :)

Yogurt, why you pricey huh? Though their prices are kinda steep, good quality and delicious yogurts are just inescapable especially with some toppings of your choice. For yogurt, it's only Red Mango and The White Hat for me 128516

I enjoyed this cup of regular plain frozen yogurt for Php90! After eating, I didn't feel wanting for more, simply because it was enough already. It was worth it!! 128523

I've been going to White Hat for my Frozen yogurt fix for more than I can remember. The most recent visit was different. Instead of ordering my usual original flavored frozen yogurt topped with mangoes and almonds, I tried their Yogurt Cheesecake.

They have different flavors available. I tried their Red Velvet. It was delicious. It's not that sweet. I think I like this more than the frozen yogurt ice cream. I can't wait to try their Banana Walnut next time.

It's official. I'm back on the froyo bandwagon. I've been having froyo for 3 days in a row. It's so good I want to cry. 128513 -- made this one around last week hehe

Went to Hobbes & Landes to get some Yoh Froz yogurt parfait but since the store moved, they put Yoh Froz in a different part of the mall.. In the supermarket area. 128554 I wasn't up for the long walk going there and I didn't want to be in a noisy place. I ended up going to White Hat, my old favorite. They also have their own parfait but it did not look appetizing. And it was PHP 225. Are ya kidding me?! I got their large tub with regular froyo topped with mangoes, granola and almond clusters instead. I liked it!

I used to be really froyo-picky but for some reason, I no longer care about where the froyo is from. All I care about now are the granola, fruit and cereal toppings. 128540

BTW I'm going to my first ever Manila Popup event this Saturday! Lucky to get reservations since their Friday sched was fully booked after just one hour of booking!

------------------

I have been craving for various things lately and I blame it on my hormones haha!

First, I'd like to elaborate on my take on restos located at the middle of the halls of the mall. Think Cibo. I'm just really not into that kind of setup. I think that its almost the same as eating outside of a restaurant that is situated beside the road. So wrong. If you're going to pay so much for your meals, why not choose one that's indoors, has an actual four-walled stall, or is a place within a place that's peaceful and free of pollution? That's all.

I ordered their regular-sized yogurt and I absolutely loved it. The cashier warned me that their mochi was a bit hard but I still went for my mochi + mango combo. Turned out that their watermelon mochi was not hard, it actually 'broke' when I bit into it. Strange. I think they did not store it well but I will not deduct a star since this was my personal decision. Besides, it still tasted good!

I asked the kind cashier if the bottled tea (Shlürp) that they were selling was any good and she recommended the Assam flavor. It was surprisingly good, though the jelly inside it did not taste like anything but it still rocked for me!

I was alone and I settled to just eat my order there. It felt very weird to see people passing by in front of me thus my theory of stores smacked in the middle of the place materializing right before me.

Thumbs up for this place, my favorite branch is the one inside Fully Booked at BHS. 128079

White Hat still remains my favorite yogurt place. I go for the plain ones with a simple topping versus the more elaborate flavors, and thus the taste of the yogurt itself should be good. Some yogurts are really sour while others taste more like ice cream but the yogurt here is just right will the right level of sourness. Yogurt texture and consistency is also right and has that refreshing taste that yogurt should have.

Aside from yogurt they serve other food too like waffles but I have not had a chance to try it.

It's also a nice place to hang out with its open booth style and its never full, on weekdays it's mostly empty except maybe for one or two people. They have a fresh clean look with some cute couches too aside from the small tables.
