They gave our order of bibimbap bowl and chicken yakitori bowl to another table who ordered after we did.

I overheard the other table say that they ordered gyudon and something else.

So our order was delayed and when it arrived, my bibimbap bowl tasted off, and the chicken yakitori arrived nearly 40 minutes later.

And when I asked the waiter Arman specifically if our order was given to another table, because I saw him give our order to the other table, he said no, there was no mixup.

Anyway, the bibimbap bowl I had in wholesome table in Fort was delicious, and the one I had in Estancia was bland, boring, and tasted nowhere near as good as the one in Fort.

Organic food is getting a boost in popularity these days. I wondered what the craze was with pricey food untreated with pesticides and preservatives; and now I found the answer. Who knew that organic cuisine could be tasty and healthy at the same time? That was my discovery in the Wholesome Table. This latter already has 3 branches; and it never stops in its endeavor to serve the best organic vegan food. This is probably because of its commitment to serving only the healthiest and freshest selections possible for all those health connoisseurs.

We started off with the avocado toast. This simple yet flavorful dish is a combination of baked eggs, avocado, and whole grain toast with mustard and dukkah spice. This is considered as one of their breakfast meals. The eggs and avocado, besides being high in unsaturated fat and protein, gave me an energy boost. Add to that the fact that the ingredients produced a sweet, tangy flavor that was truly fitting to start the day.

The Mushroom Paella was their flagship main course dish. This vegan version of the popular Spanish dish is a sight to behold due to its clever mix of bright, explosive colors, and the strong smoky smell. According to the owner, the dish does not have any meat. Instead, the chorizo topping was made out of walnuts. Talk about using vegan ingredients to substitute the meat! Upon tasting, I found that the rice was well cooked; and the chorizo, bell pepper, black mushroom, olives, egg, and shrimp toppings became a winning combo. The mushroom and the chorizo gave the dish a meaty flavor without involving actual meat.

The paella was supplemented by their unique Cordillera salad. What makes this special is the fact that authentic Sagada oranges were used in the dish. These were small and tangy oranges that gave the salad a candy-like flavor. I normally don't like salad; but this is an exception because it tasted like a popular confectionery. Furthermore, the salad was topped with duck eggs, baked onions, kale, romane lettuce, squash, and candied chayote. The chayote made the dish even sweeter since it was already caramelized.

The main course was ended by the Pokebowl. This is a new organic dish that is currently making waves across the U.S. It is composed of a melange of Fresh salmon, wakame, brown rice, onion leeks, pickled ginger, romaine lettuce, ebiko, furikake, and topped with Togarashi spice and stir fry sauce. Despite the overload of ingredients, I found the dish exciting and tasty. It was the perfect balance of healthy ingredients without scrimping on the taste. While the salmon was raw, I didn't restrain myself from devouring the whole bowl. The delightful mix of sweet, spicy, and salty flavors plus the assurance that it was a health dish made me give in.

As for dessert, we had a number of their fine selections. We were bombarded with generous servings of the banana cake, fudge brownies, mango cheesecake, and their blueberry muffins. We also had a taste of their cookies, namely the chocolate and the double oatmeal variants. I loved the banana cake and fudge brownies since they had this no-gluten mixture. That means no bloating from eating a lot of the stuff. I ate to my heart's delight since both cakes were not too sweet for my taste. Both had a chunky texture and were not brittle as well. The mango cheesecake also had a no-gluten policy. The cheese used was also low fat and light to the taste. Since I love blueberry so much, I can say that the muffins took the cake. One can say that the ingredients were well-mixed and of the highest quality.

The Wholesome table truly changed my perception of a legit organic food place. I'd truly come back for more.

Healthy and Tasty!

The Wholesome Table faces challenges beyond their control with stereotypical notions of healthy meaning bland, expensive, and just not enjoyable, look at it from an enlightened perspective and you'll see why they do what they do.

Quality! Ingredients, the skill , and the passion don't come cheap. Their customers understand their goal in offering a healthier alternative. While eating here won't gain you a six-pack or that toned body of your dreams, the food here will definitely keep you on track while you're working on that. As with anything health related consulate your physician / nutritionist for a better understanding of "your" proper diet. So what's so good about it then, if they aren't the solution I was coming in for? Look beyond healthy, it's tasty!

Ambiance is dim with a garden feel with dark woods and lots of trees

Mushroom Paella (Solo – 620 PHP or For Sharing – 1,480 PHP)
Walnut Chorizo substitutes the real thing, but it does well enough to convince meat-eaters, but this dish is designed more for vegans who want a taste of chorizo. Rice is moist and smooth as most in our table described it.

Vegan Poke Bowl (250 PHP)
Tofu, Wakame, Onion Leeks, Carrots, Stir-fry sauce, Furikake, Togarashi spice, and Sushi Gari. How can a bowl greens be tasty? It comes down to the texture, you feel good earn you it something guilt-free and packed with so much good vibes, the teriyaki like sauce kept with the light taste.

Salmon Poke Bowl (450 PHP)
A brown rice base, wakame (seaweed), Onion Leeks, Japanese mayonnaise, and pickled ginger (the pink side dish with Japanese food) it's an uplifting power bowl that may be a bit pricey, but it does it well enough to justify the premium.

Macro Bowl (450 PHP)
Quinoa, wakame, white beans, sweet potato, kale, spinach, teriyaki almonds, and garlic yogurt dressing. The mix veggies makes this a great feeling bowl, I'd still pick the Vegan bowl since it's cheaper.

Avocado Toast (260 PHP)
Okay. This maybe too simple to worth the price, but they aren't claiming anything special, for a light meal this works perfectly, for hungry foodies this may under-deliver.

THE WHOLESOME BAKERY
(Available at All Wholesome Table Branches)

Mango Cheesecake (170 PHP)
A favourite in our table this creamy light cheesecake sweetened with honey, which stabilises any sourness from the seasonal mangoes.

Banana Cake (70 PHP per slice or 590 PHP per loaf)
We had 2 loaves of these to go and even after 2 days it remained, oh so delicious (room temperature) I accidentally ate one loaf during breakfast, you slice and slice and before I knew it, it’s gone. It didn’t get boring that’s what I’m trying to say. It just feels so balanced, with a subtle mix of banana.

Valrhona Double Chocolate Cookies (70 PHP per piece or 330 PHP for a 6 pack)
Dark chocolate basically what this is, you get a good taste of it being a gluten-free (no milk) cookie, for a cookie lover this is just amazing, most

Double Oatmeal Cookies (70 PHP per piece or 330 PHP for a 6 pack)
My favourite oatmeal cookie to date for its moist feel and oat texture. It's Gluten-free and processed sugar-free treats that surpasses regular cookies altogether. With or without dietary needs this is will be in my diet, it's just too good.

First time at The Wholesome table. I love that their menu is so varied and that there are vegetarian choices as well as gluten-free. I got the Vegan Poke Bowl (P250) and we had the Wholesome salad to share (P440). Proceeds from the Powerbowl menu goes to their feeding program.

Love the salad! With sherry vinegar and feta cheese. 128077🏼 The serving was big! Good for 4 persons. My rice bowl has brown rice, tofu, wakame, leeks, carrots, romaine, with some stir fry sauce. The serving size was perfect for me. I like it. Though I felt like I don't know what I'm eating, is it salad or rice? Haha.

This place is for the health conscious. That's why I loved it.

Didn't get to take photos of the other dishes but I thought everything was delicious - the pizzas, the pasta, the salad, and the sliders. The place's interior is amazing. The service is A+ too. Would love to try their coffee here next time.

This resto serves healthy dishes that are delicious, so I'm a fan! It's indulgence without the guilt. Love this branch too because it's dog-friendly (well, the whole mall is).

Gabe had his birthday lunch here with me and his parents. It was my first time and I had high hopes for this place since Gabe is always raving about it.

But I was disappointed... We ordered their grilled cheese and all I could taste was mustard. Literally the only thing I could taste. 128557 and Gabe agreed there was something off with the sandwich they served us, so they took it back and made us a new one. And when the new one came out, it was better, but the mustard was still too strong for me. Gaaaah

Sad to say that even if this might be just a "bad day" for them, I am not willing to try ordering that sandwich again. 128532

Anyway, thank God, the salad Gabe's parents ordered was good, plus the spinach dip with bread we also had for appetizers was excellent. 128076

And finally, my watermelon-mango slush, which was last to arrive, was refreshing! It was sweet but not too sweet, and it didn't seem to have corn syrup, which is a very good and healthy thing! 1008410084

I wasn't so happy with the food... But at least I got full and the company is always amazing! 128522

The refreshing wholesome salad is still my personal favorite. The calamari was also good. The garlic dip complemented the crunchy chewy squid. The nutty spaghetti was nicely cooked with oil based parmesan sauce, the baked garlic enhanced its flavor. The buddha bowl which is a mix of alfalfa, monggo sprouts, peanut brittle and brown rice with thai curry dip is also a must try. Good mix of spicy, bitter and sweet flavoring. The chicken yakitori was just ok. While the rice mix was good I found the chicken a bit dry.

At this place wholesome food need not be boring.

Wholesome dinner at the wholesome table today.

1. Be Refreshing juice drink made up of carrot, orange, apple, pineapple, lemon and turmeric lived up to its name. It was so refreshing and the good thing about it was that it's sugar free.

2. The Wholesome salad was very good. This is the first time I tasted a vegetable salad with watermelon in it. The sweet taste of the fruit went well with the salty taste of feta cheese and the spicy flavor of onions.

3. The pork chop was just average. The meat was a bit dry and bland. If not for the balsamic dressing it it would have been a total bore.

4. Service was very good and the place classy.

Love the interior! It has almost same taste with my home interior, a shabby rustic cozy place for a restaurant! But expensive for an "organic food" they said they have helping local farmers that's why their food is a bit expensive... I think it's rip off for a snack like this... But compare to green pasture their food is way more delicious. Ordered four slider for whopping Php 750.00 it's a medium size naman, vegan burger, pulled pork burger, "grass fed burger" haha may Iba pa bang kinakain Ang cow bukod sa grass? And turkey burger! All taste normal nothing's different. Fries is tasteless! Carbonara is delicious good for sharing (for small stomach) but if u have big appetite solo is not good enough for Php 480.00, normal for sharing price is 880.00 for a carbonara? Hmmm sounds like ripping your pocket huh?! If you want to eat here better save a 2,000 for two people just for a snack! Cupcakes are 175 when I order one they said it's all sold out, I guess Hindi mabili maybe they put wrong pricing about this category. Cupcakes by Sonja are way much lower and yummy than this. ---for my opinion! Servants are annoying they keep cleaning the table even when your not done eating yet! I don't like that. I call when I'm finish128545 anyway it's was ok. Just love the interior that's all! And it's organic after all!

Burrata, porkchops, and nutty garlic pasta in photo.

Including two craft beers, we spent 2k in total for two. Pricey!

It wasn't the best porkchop, and the burrata just tasted really weird for me. But the pasta was kinda nice.

The service was good. The server was really familiar with the menu and it wasn't difficult to catch his attention.

Ambience was great. Nice wooden accents.

Quiet.

And did I say pricey? Just wanted to say that again. 128517

If I could have their ham schnitzel everyday, I would. 128539 It instantly became part of my love-at-first-bite items. I was so happy eating it! The mashed potato that was under it was so good also!

... Not a fan of the salad though lol. Maybe I'll ask if I could have it replaced with fries or something the next time.

And also, their tamarind iced tea wasn't the best. Fireside by Kettle's version is better.

Service was great though!

First time to eat at this restaurant, and I'm sure it won't be the last! Even though it is more expensive than the other restos around the area, the food was excellent. Top notch. Lasang lasa ang pagkaorganic. The ambiance is also nice; they were playing Jack Johnson (easy listening acoustic) songs in the background.
So, we were able to try the following:
Wholesome salad (pictured) - not a salad eater but I almost ate the entire bowl, it is that good!
Pumpkin-carrot soup - you can skip this, but it is also very good.
Nutty garlic pasta - I loved it while I was feasting on it, but the aftertaste is a bit strong. I'd still highly recommend this for first timers though, it is different from the usual pasta I often have.
Norcia pizza - fresh ingredients, but we were too full to appreciate this... This is also a must try, but on a different date.

Definitely going back to try the other dishes.

Wanted to try this as hadn't eaten here before. Ordered the house salad, carrot pumpkin soup, clams appetizer and Cubano sandwich. Hubby ordered the 'gobbled up' sandwich while friend ordered the meatloaf (although specialty was supposedly the pork chops). Soup wasn't spectacular but clams were tasty! Cubano was meaty (not fatty) which I liked. Meatloaf had good reviews too. Add to that, service was two thumbs up! Nice ambience, comfortable seating. Great place to catch up with friends while enjoying good food.

We're a group of 17 when we ate here so I was able to try a lot of their food. We had no complaints on any of the dishes - everything tasted good. And the servings were big, even though they're supposed to be solo orders. If I am to recommend some dishes I'd say get the chicken Marsala, pork chops, mashed potato, and Buddha bowl. 128522
