There are just days when you just spontaneously treat yourself for a nice meal and today is that day for me.

I always see this place since i just work around the corner but I never had the chance to try it! Sooo now's the time to redeem those days when i chose to just pass by it!

I really like the ambience of their place! It's very cozy, the staffs are very attentive and the vibe -- THE VIBE of the place is really just comforting!

So the first thing i've been wanting to eat is Pasta! I've been craving for Pasta these past few days (specifically Pesto) but since i'm also a sucker for salmon, i just had to try the Salmon in Basil Creme Sauce!

Fresh Salmon tossed in organic cherry tomato passato and crème fraiche over capellini? Who can't say no to this??? The serving is quite generous but you can eat the whole plate tho if you're that hungry!

I love that I partnered it with their cold pressed juice, Be Awesome! It's made up of kale, spinach, parsley, romaine, celery, cucumber, apple, lemon, an ounce of love and good intention. It really compliments the pasta! I swear! It's like a perfect combination!

It maybe pricey but it's all worth it up to the last cent! The Wholesome Table is now one of my Healthy/Organic Comfort Food Restaurant in the metro! And I'm definitely bringing my Aegiya here when he arrives in Manila! 10084

The Wholesome Table's Poke Bowl was absolutely delicious. The bowl had salmon, wakame, brown rice, onion leeks, Japanese mayo, stir fry sauce, romaine, ebiko, pickled ginger. Delightfully bursting with flavors!128523

I wish the portions were bigger (given its price). Been craving for a grilled cheese sandwich + tomato soup combo but this version didn't satisfy it. I was hoping the cheese would be gooey (oozing is a bonus) but it was not. Aha! If it were, then it wouldn't be wholesome anymore! Tsk tsk. Now I know 🤔 Haha. But the place is oozing with goodness and chillness! The interior design is really nice and visually appealing.

The Wholesome Table is a restaurant that offers organic and delicious foods. For those who wants to detoxify they have a number of detox juices to choose from that would fit to your needs prices starts from 250 up.

It was our first time to visit the place and we only ordered 3 from the menu

Calamari (Php290)
A serving good for one it was crunchy and tasty but a bit small.

Grilled Chicken Curry Pizza (Php690)
A pizza with a surpise in every bite. It is topped up with curry sauce, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, onion jam, basil, cilantro, peanut brittle, greek yogurt and pepperoncini. It was like eating a chicken curry dish the pizza way, the onion jam and the peanut brittle gives a kick in every bite of the pizza the savoury and the sweet taste compliments each other best sprinkled with their chili flakes 128522

Carbonara (Php840)
Good for 3-4 persons, it was good and I 10084️ the cured pork belly with it.

Too many choices but our stomach can fit only a few, maybe on our next visit we will try others on their menu 128522128522128522

Eat consciously. live consciously.

This is a place that I wanted to visit and often forget. I heard its a good food place. And at the most unexpected day, I had a chance. Its Tuesday and was asked to go out for a client call with my boss and officemate, in Makati. Sounds like Rhianna's song: work! Work!work!work!work (and repeat!). After an hour at about past 12 noon, our agenda is to eat lunch @ The Wholesome Table in Salcedo, Makati.

It is expected. The place. Is. Jampack... Its lunch time ! But, luckily an empty table left and we are seated (relief!). The waiters are cheerful and extra attentive. We had:

KALE CEAZAR (P420) made with kale & romaine, topped with cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives, aged Parmegiano-Reggiano tosses with creamy ceazar dressing. 127775127775127775127775127775 raving about this salad. Something I can eat everyday10084

GRAZE LAND PIZZA (P690) tomato sauce, grass fed beef strips, baked onions, roasted garlic, fresh mozzarella, Parmegiano-Reggiano and Pecorino Romano- 127775127775127775127775127775 standard plate size pizza. The pizza has a balance flavor. Nothing is overpowering. Taste just right.. Perfect with chili olive oil 128077🏼

TRUFFLE MUSHROOM PASTA (P420) spaghetti tosses in sauted wild mushroom, white wine finished with rich truffle cream sauce- 127775127775127775127775127775 no meat yet its enough. Its creamy and love the truffle sauce 128079🏼128079🏼128079🏼128079🏼

LEMONGRASS ICE TEA (P100) - yummy refresher!

CRÈME BRULEE - (P160) free range duck eggs, vanilla bean, fresh milk- light dessert to match my cappuccino 9749

This is certainly a great place to visit again. I must admit I enjoyed the food, quite pricey yet worth it. Lovin' the interiors, that I enjoyed taking pics.

Your breakfast could be an opportunity for The Wholesome Table experience because they have a lot. As in a lot of breakfast options-- from breads, pancakes, eggs and omelets to breakfast plates and bowls! And what can be more wholesome in adding super heathy power bowls of either açai or chia seeds in the menu.

Wholesome table serves organic food and ready to serve you 7am. Their service is high class. They do have an usher to assist you on choosing the table, usher will get your name and endorse you to your personal server.

Actually, i have already looked on their menu while going here and the following interested me for breakfast

128204 gluten free waffles with lemon and ricotta cheese
Choice of strawberry compote at 400+ or apple-pear-cranberry compote at 320
Choice of maple syrup or coconut sap
I chose the apple-pear-cranberry cause you can get several fruits for less. And i was curious of the coconut sap so i chose that one for my syrup. It was served within 10 minutes. All four pieces waffles were brownish. They were all crispy. I did not taste the lemon and ricotta. It tasted like normal waffle batter. The coconut sap was really thick and dark brown-reddish it tasted bitter like burnt sugar and sweet like coco jam. That one overpowered the waffle taste.
The compote was cold and ever refreshing.
The butter was brown. Dunno why. Anyone knows what's up with the butter? 128513

128204 almond latte
I thought i was getting a cup of coffee with some almond magic and latte art. I was broken hearted when it was served to me in a bottle 128148. At 290 pesos 128148128148128148
It tasted bitter almond. Milky. A hint of coffee. I forgot it was under "nut milk" menu 128148128148128148128148

More or less you already have an idea of how much you're going to spend here if you like a good breakfast. Pero hindi parin. I wanted espresso pla.. Hehe.
So while eating the waffles, adding the coconut sap, just right after bitjng it, my server ask:
"Sir how was the food?"
I looked back at him while the very sticky coco sap falling off my mouth.128563
"Ok nmn"
He immediately withdrew himself
Nahiya naman ako sa senario.
Maybe next time they should know when to ask the customer if their food is ok.. Hehe

Must justify: Food is ok, pricey that makes 3 for me. And best waffle experience still goes to yardstick

I did not get to check the CR (if there is) cause in my mund i want to have some latte at wildflour 128513128538

One Sunday last January, I invited my HS friends for a post-birthday celebration at The Wholesome Table since I won some dine in credits from an Instagram contest. Lucky me! 128514
I originally invited around 10-12 people but some of them had an emergency thing so we ended up being just seven people and we had to consume 10K worth of food. Imagine how much food and how stuffed we were after that 4-5 hour feast. Yup, we took things slow and tried to digest everything that we can. TWT is an organic, not to mention healthy, restaurant anyway? Haha, wrong I know. Too much of anything is still bad. but it’s my birthday so pagbigyan. 128520

We started out with some appetizers - their spinach dip that came with bread, organic mushroom fritters (one order has three big pieces), and their fried calamari. All were pretty okay but not really something I would rave about. You may try the mushroom fritters. My first time to try such kind of dish. Mushroom with cheese wrapped in italian sausage, wrapped and served with their light tomato sauce. Spinach dip was so-so.. Calamari was quite overcooked, making it a bit chewy.

For salads, I’ve tried the Chicken Dukkah Salad before so opted for the Orzo Salad and the Wholesome Salad. I appreciated the latter more because of it’s light and refreshing overall taste. Again, it’s my first time to try Orzo Salad (note: how not familiar I am with healthy stuff LOL) which I read is Bianca's (the owner) own recipe. Based on my research, orzo is a kind of pasta shaped like grains of barley or rice. careful, carbs carbs carbs disguised in a salad. LOL

Imagine that much food and we haven’t even started with the mains yet! #busoglusog Next arrived the Kimchi Cauliflower Rice, an order placed by our vegetarian friend. It was not bad. Too much flavors in a dish was quite overwhelming. Are we supposed to taste the kimchi? the egg? the mushrooms? or the cauliflower rice?

The Meatloaf, again as what I’ve read in a blog, is Bianca’s husband’s favorite. For me, it was okay. Too heavy dish to swallow. We were getting really full. Push pa, push lang. 128514

I like both pastas we had - Nutty Garlic and Salmon in Basil Cream sauce. The former was really light and nutty though i do not recommend it to be eaten alone. A bit on the oily side, you must pair it with something else. The salmon pasta was good! I loved the sauce, not too overpowering. 128523 i’m a big fan of salmon btw.

The Salmon Risotto was one of the stars of the feast. We all loved this dish, sadly we were too full to eat more. The salmon was nicely done, complemented with the organic red rice and miso sauce. you may try this if you’re a salmon fan 128523

Pork chop was really good when I first tried it. That’s why I was excited to let my friends try it. But it was somehow disappointing. Not the juicy and tasty I expected it to be. Quite tough to chew..okay… 128532

We also tried their pulled turkey burger. again, I can’t remember the name as indicated in the menu. I think it’s Gobbled Up.. Not bad, and the sweet taste was more overpowering.

Almost forgot we also had eggplant parmigiana and it was okay. I did not like it that much because I don’t like eggplants.

SUPER BUSOG and we were not able to finish the food served later.

As for the drinks, I got the Four Season Shake and it was also okay. Nothing too special about it except for it being too expensive. 350 per jar i think. O_O Their homemade juices Be Refreshing and Be Delightful were both good. Also, expensive at 250 each bottle. Haha! XD

Overall, you visit TWT if you’re into healthy stuff, want to have a calming and relaxing experience because of their interiors, and if you have a lot of money to spare. Haha, definitely not for those on a tight budget.

We had our after work dinner at wholesome table and it was good that we phoned the place hours earlier or we'd be waiting longer for our food. They had a long list of healthy juices and smoothies and after minutes and minutes of contemplation I decided to get the "Be Empowered" drink which had mostly greens, and I requested they add ginger. It was good I must say, though the ginger really overpowered everything else in the mix.

I ordered lapu-lapu for my main dish and it was just as you would expect it to taste like. It wasn't oily which was a plus, but I bet it would've been more mouthwatering with a slice of citrus or lemon on the side.

Our dessert was the yogurt panna cotta -- best panna cotta I've ever had! It's creamy, not too sweet, just perfect!

No doubt the place is great in all aspects, the service, the food, the ambiance. But i just have to return the chicken the first time they serve it coz it's still bloody inside and you don't eat chicken when it's not properly cooked. Not sure if the chef is on a rush or what but will i come back? Yes. Will recommend? Oh yes! As long as they're consistent with the food quality. 128513128077🏻

Spontaneous Sunday lunch with friends at The Wholesome Table. First thing you notice is their lovely interiors, exuding such a homey vibe. Very very calming to the eyes. 128077🏻128077🏻 one star goes solely for that.

Prices here are really steep for the not so consistent food. Some were good, some were just okay. Presentation was good great, as well as the service.. Yes, they're a restaurant offering organic type of food meaning not much on the artificial ingredients and more natural --> expensive. but, i just can't swallow the price of almost 900 bucks for a bowl of carbonara (shared by maybe 3-4 people). 128563 other dishes we had were on the 300-500 price bracket. not bad.

We started with fries and mashed potatoes for sides. Both were okay. The fries I found quite soggy while the potatoes were good in terms of texture. Again, expensive at around 200 bucks for something maybe 2 hungry people can finish.

Chicken Dukkah Salad arrived next. Oh this one's good because of the vinaigrette. Semi sweet dressing. Good and hefty mix of greens plus squash, cucumber, onion, tomatoes, pakwan seeds, some grapes ( i think), with cheese and the chicken strips. Nako, eto na na-experience ko na ang lasang 128115🏾 Jairus d!!! 128547128547128514128514 i did not like how the chicken was spiced, too strong for my liking. Skip this if you're mot adventurous and stick with the rest of the salad. 128514

Next thing that arrived was the Margarita Pizza. Nothing really extraordinary about this pizza and i thought it lacked taste- not recommending this. 128541

The pork chops were good! Nicely seasoned and really tender. Not the best but it was really good, in my opinion. 128077🏻128077🏻

If not for the really good service and ambiance, I'd give this place a 3. The cost was really such a downer for me 128514128514

Decided on a spontaneous meetup with friends this Sunday and we settled on The Wholesome Table in Makati as our first stop. They accept reservations btw.

Upon entering, you'd definitely notice how pretty the place is! There's a tree sprouting up in the middle of the room, potted plants hanging on top of big glass windows, warm lights, wooden furniture and comfy cushioned seats. It gives off a very homey, rustic vibe.

We browsed through their menu and well, let's say this place doesn't seem to offer anything cheap. 128517 Prices appear to start at 400-500 php mostly and only go up from there. We decided on the following:

127839 Parmesan Fries (180 pesos) and Mashed Potato (100 pesos) Former is basically thin-cut fries topped with parmesan. Just okay. The mashed potato was nice and creamy.

127807 Chicken Dukkah Salad (580 pesos). This dish was served in a huge wooden bowl. I loved the combination of leafy greens, roasted squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, sunflower seeds and balsamic vinaigrette with the dukkah (herbs, spices and nuts)-coated grilled chicken. Lots of textures and flavors having a party in my mouth. This was a winner! One of the dishes I'd recommend from this establishment! 128077

127837 Carbonara (840 pesos for sharing). Noodles in egg and cheese sauce topped with slices of pork. Serving was fairly big, but I couldn't justify the 800+ peso price tag. I've had better carbonara. This was too pricey for what it offered in my opinion and to think this was one of the things our server recommended. Nope.

127829 Margarita pizza (490 pesos). This was a 12" pie cut into 8 slices. Pretty basic pizza so nothing much to say about it.

127830 Pork Chops (690 pesos). Thick slices of grilled pork with roasted potatoes. Loved this dish as well! Serving was fair and flavor was on point!

Service was good; the servers were very friendly, were quick to refill our glasses, etc.

In summary, this place does have some good offerings but prices are kind of a turn-off. Be sure to pick your dishes well so you won't regret them too much haha. Oh well, you're paying for good ambiance and the organic/dairy,gluten-free,etc. etc. food.

When I saw the bill for our meal, I fell over. I couldn't believe it. Honestly. Php2,047 for a small starter (mushroom mozzarella fritter things), a chicken dukkah salad, a protein power bowl and tiramisu. No drinks. There were two of us. It was a meal that was light on the tummy but heavy on the pocket.

That starter, though good, was a pure rip off. I cannot believe we paid P390 for three bite sized pieces of a glorified mozzarella mushroom nugget! The quinoa bowl was okay. It is hearty and packed with healthy things. The chicken dukkkah salad was also just okay. Texture needed an oomph factor.

The tiramisu was the star of the show. At P400+ for this dessert, it was also expensive but made with yogurt and heaven so well-worth it.

My new strategy for coming back: fill myself up on bread (free) and just order tiramisu for dessert.

Really flavorful food. Had the nutty garlic pasta, bounty of the sea stew and meatballs. It was all good. The really bad thing about this joint is the price. I guess being organic has its price and that also means I can't frequent this place no matter how good the menu or beneficial their offerings are. Just the stew and the meatballs with a couple of drinks set me back P2,000. This one you can't have on a daily basis. It will leave you broke if you do.

Eat Consciously.. Live Consciously127807127811127807127811

Our third stop last Friday for our long weekend family Foodtrip was at The Wholesome Table. Located at Leviste Street Corner HV Dela Costa St. Makati. After our BGC foodtrip, we decided to go to Makati to drop by mom's office. She's working on a holiday. Hands up to my working mom 128588128105. We got there around past lunch and we were still full so I decided to bring her with us for lunch.

The Wholesome Table was so near to my mom's office and she really wants to try this before so wish granted. Hubby and I check it out first and had reservation then we go back to mom's ofc to fetch her and the kids. It's just walking distance from her office so it's very convenient.

My mom mentioned to me that this place was owned by the gorgeous Ivory commercial model, now known as Bianca Araneta Elizalde. I was a fan during my younger years and I always watch her commercials. Second reason is that the place has a great ambiance.

The Wholesome Table is an organic restaurant that aims to help you change the way you eat. We're no longer young so we need to be healthy right coz health is wealth and we only have one body so we need to take care of it.

I reserved a seat at the middle where a tree was put inside this resto. They called it a communal table and no one is seating since we reserve it for the five of us. There was a sign board saying " say hi to the person next to you" and we did haha128540

We were still full so we decided to have a very light post lunch. They have many staffs at this resto and there were a lot of foreigners also during that time.
The staffs were knowledgable about their menu. Even before we order, they will tell you which food is not available and what can they recommend for sharing and for the kids. We got two Nutty Galic pasta, they used aldente noodles then Margarita pizza. It's really good for sharing and we were so full.

Good food, nice ambiance and I wasn't expecting that price was affordable too. Total bill was around 1,500.

My only comment is that I waited long for the change and I just left it. Although I have no plans getting the change but the staff should have return it to me. We just left coz were in a hurry.

I think one thing people really like about this place is the vibe it gives: homey and comfy. With its really artsy interior deco, good choice of music playing, and friendly servers, the experience is just better.

I had Roast Pork Sandwich and Be Dreamy smoothie and both gave me more than what I expected. The sandwich was big and had a generous serving of roast pork, it was a bit bland, though. But the onion jam made up for it. I also liked those crunchy thing in it, though I still ask, what was that? 128514 The smoothie I had was really good too, it's a combination of some fruits and veggies but the mango taste was the one emphasized.

But why only four stars? It's because even if the servers (who served me) were friendly, attentive and really accommodating, some were grouped in one side and were just too loud. Kind of annoying.
