I've been frequenting this cafe since they opened, and it's definitely one of my favorites. Get the espresso julep and the shrimp pasta!

Went here to finish some school stuff. I always go here since I discovered this place whenever I wanted to study outside (our house). But I guess timing was not right because the place was almost full. I'm not used to it because whenever I go here, there are only few customers minding their own businesses. It's calm and quiet. As in super quiet all you can hear is the cafe's background music.

Well anyway, I ordered the Grilled Cheese Sandwich and my favorite drink Iced Salted Caramel. The sandwich comes with a tomato soup, but I asked them to replace it with chips instead because I like it better than the soup 128514 Sandwich is good and satisfying. I got a bit disappointed with my drink because the size of the glass became small (literally from a mason jar before to a thin medium sized glass now 128078🏼) and even though it had some ice, it still wasn't cold. Yummy but not refreshing.

*The lighting was not in favor of me during that time so please bear with my photo 128517 I can't make it look decent no matter how I edit it 128514*

We decided to finish our problem set here since I will never get anything done when I stay at home.

We tried their grilled cheese and instead of the tomato soup, we switched it with potato chips. I paired it with, of course, Iced Green Tea Matcha because as you already know I'm avoiding coffee 1285149996🏻️

This cafe is the perfect spot for getting work done because they have power outlet and free wifi! Their seats are comfortable as well. That time, wifi was limited because there were a lot of people dining in. I recommend you go here early so you will have a seat near the outlet. If not, you may bring extensions so you can charge your laptop.

Also, they won't mind if you stay there long. There were some customers who were there before I came and were still there when we're about to leave. So, really, if you're looking for a place to study this is the perfect cafe for you.

As a person who really can't be 100% productive at home for some reason, I needed a place where I can stay for a long time, has power outlets, has free and fast wifi, and serves delicious and affordable food. Thank God I discovered this cafe!! Perfect timing because I'm hustling to finish all my schoolworks on time.

Finding out that what I needed was all available here, I gave it a try. I suggested to my group mate that we meet here to do our research paper.

I was surprised upon entering because the place was really calm and quiet. People are all busy minding their own businesses, busy typing on their laptops. Now this is perfectly what I wanted!

I felt at home during my stay here because why not?! They have a comfortable couch and above it is a bookshelf on the wall with different kinds of books and vintage stuffs. I felt more relaxed because of their cozy interiors and great tunes with just the right volume.

On the menu, they offer pastas, pastries, frappes, iced beverages, and coffees.

I tried their Montecristo Sandwich which is made with melted swiss cheese and smoked ham served with jam and plain salted chips. No regrets for my choice because it was very tasty! I skipped dinner because it made me really full. 128077🏼

Paired with my sandwich was their Salted Caramel Chocolate Iced Drink (you can choose between iced and frappe). It was a good choice because it was really yummy! First time to try it and I loved it 128149

With the taste and the amount of serving, I can tell that I got the value of what I paid for. I am well-satisfied 128077🏼

Not overreacting, but this is one of the ideal places to study or even chill out with friends. I think this will be my new study nook as our finals week is fast approaching.

Last Saturday's dose of culture was held at Third Cup Cafe...128522

Jenn N invited us to watch Kapeng Barako Club's Samahan ng mga Bitter (correct me if I'm wrong, I threw my ticket away!!!128514)... It promised us a night of pseudo-bitterness or bitterness talaga and hugot lines... Hello, perfect for #TeamClingy!!!128525128525128525

The rest of our Clingymates were stuck in horrible traffic!128557 Yina M Dastine S My lunchmate, Carla M, couldn't stay in QC after we stuffed ourselves with wagyu... Julie J was busy working off calories and maintaining her sexy legs! Labyulul!!!! And of course, THE HTT Chichi T was called for some last minute photo-styling... With our model magnet Kirby G and the recently featured, must follow in IG JP G!!! Shucks, we are not worthy!!! Famous friends, wag nyo kami kalimutan!!!128536128536128536

But, we pushed thru with our plans... We are G like that!128077 Jenn N, Zia M, with the honorary clingy extension K and bf... We were looking forward to Juan Ekis' play to start at an unconventional location... Our ticket was inclusive of a drink of our choice... I went for the Espresso Julep, a play on the mint julep, which I already tried before and quite liked! Had I known they would serve us coffee, I would have skipped the Hazelnut Latte from Afters...

Not much to say about the place since it was converted to a makeshift play venue... I liked my Espresso Julep, which I consumed the next day... But I really enjoyed the play, which I felt was timely and interesting... It's a social experiment that worked! Moreover I enjoyed the company as per usual! 128515

Last day of this run will be this Saturday btw! #PaitPaMore #DiAkoBitter #KapengBarako

Thanks for our latest dose of culture Jenniepie! Zia, I missed you! wuw paranag di nag-uusap ah!128540 Pa-gas ka next time beh!128521

P.S. Sorry I couldn't tag all the Clingies!128536128536128536 labyulul pa din!

Late post review.

This will make you drool!128523 went here one Saturday. After we had lunch at TOSH Katipunan, we need a place na matatambayan while waiting for my daughter review at AHEAD. I heard of this before and at last I was valid to find this place. The place is just average but perfect place for waiting. Lot of students were here doing there projects.

Had this lava cake for 120 pesos. Hot in inside , chocolatier and good for sharing. So if your a laba cake fan like me, you can give it a try. Service was good, staffs were accommodating and they have wifi here

A place perfect for studying since the customers are mostly students as well. Prices are cheaper than most coffee shops in the metro so I expected that the coffee may not be as strong or good, but I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. Their lemon and shrimp pasta was good, too, and also affordably priced for 160 in terms of serving size and flavor, which was zesty and with just the right amount of heat to put a nice kick to it. Plus points for their cozy interior and great playlist!

This is usually my go-to place in Katipunan whenever I need to study. It's located in the building just beside Shakey's, the same building with establishments like Laybare and Nail-It! It's usually packed with students buried in their books or reports to finish. What I love most about this place is the fact that they offer cheaper coffees and drinks (compared to Starbucks and the like) and you can stay here until 12 midnight.

As for their drinks, I usually order Chai Chocolate (P120) or Matcha Green Tea Latte (P120) which are equally good. Their coffee classics range from P60-120. I ordered Monte Cristo because I read a recommendation somewhere that it was good. There wasn't anything special about it, I found it to be too plain. I'd prefer the sandwich I've tried today- Kani Shrimp (P140). It was delicious but it would've tasted better with more Japanese Mayo in it. My sister ordered the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Linguine (P170) which was also tasty.

Final Verdict:
11088️ Generous serving for a reasonable price
11088️ Open til 12 midnight
11088️ Good ambiance for studying

Considering I am thirty-something and not a student, I felt like I got dirty looks from the students who regularly hung around the place. Hahah . I decided to try out this place two months ago (but forgot to post) and I met with older people. So there we were, yappin' about our project, and the kiddies would stare once in a while -- probably wondering what the oldies were doing there. Hahah.

The coffee wasn't great at all. A single shot espresso is blah . Best to get a double shot for your drink. The cashier lady was not the best customer service person but, hey, it's a tiny cafe intended for students. She was nice and, if you explained what you needed , all was good.

Pet peeve of mine is when you order and they say, "I'm sorry but we don't have that today." Ugh. Happened to me during this first visit. That bites. :(

My peers were not happy with the coffee. The space was comfortable enough though to catch up and talk or to do a quick meeting.

Upside was a ready self-serve water station. The food was decent. Guess if I were a student, this is a good alternative to very expensive Starbucks or CBTL or Seattle's.

Dropped in to do some work quietly. I doubted I could get any work done at Barkin Blends which was just upstairs haha. I might get too distracted cuddling with the doggies 128054

The place is open until 12 PM which is great if you work late. They also have wi-fi. There were only 2 other tables occupied when we got there around 8 PM. And it stayed that way until we left a little after 11 PM.

I got their pistachio frappe and their garlic and shrimp pasta. The pistachio frappe was okay, not too pistachio-y. The garlic shrimp was dynamite, however! It was literally spicy haha. Plus they were very generous with the shrimp! Good until the last bite. I was actually tempted to order another plate but I had to stop myself.

Overall, a pretty chill place with average prices and an uncrowded environment. 128077

Its my third time to look for this place and finally found it. Salamat kuya guard. Its actually in a bldg beside Shakey's. Sheesh.

I tried their Chai Green Tea Latte and it was okay. Not too sweet but too cinnamony for me though. Chai green tea kindda lost its power along the way.128513 but i love the cup presentation.

The sansrival was just okay as well not too sweet.
The placed was packed with college students doing their last minute projects/papers so i guess the crew needs to bus some tables.

Thumbs up for the college students who own it. 128522 pat on the back.128076

The place is cozy and unlike the other coffee shops, this is not fully occupied and the place is good for studying, chat with friends and reading. The barista recommended the salted caramel frappe and it is delicious though a bit sweet which I liked 'coz I have a sweet tooth. There's a wifi which is a plus an the staff are very accommodating and friendly. I'll definitely get back here and will invite my friends to have a chat and enjoy our coffees.

Coffee's ok. Nothing special. And the Latte Art's weird. I mean, what is that on the coffee? A bug? 128563

Nice quiet place to study though... For students. (Not a student anymore.) 128542
