The shabu-shabu tastes great! One order was more than enough for two people and you can even ask for extra broth. There's also a lot of other japanese dishes to choose from. We tried the ebi tempura and japanese fried rice and loved it too! Price range is P200-550 per dish.

Time to get back to eating healthy and exercising restraint. The internal battle of mind over matter on choices of where to eat begins.

Shabu-shabu was a compromise as we could wean ourselves from the voluminous intake over the holidays and not feel cheated "flavor-wise".

The four of us settled with 2 individual sets of seafood and 1 set of tenderloin. To our surprise, there was much more than we expected. In fact, we were happy with generous portions of vegetables that served to line our stomachs and prevent us from over eating.

The seafood set consisted of prime samples of shrimp, squid, oysters, fish, abalone, shrimp and fish balls and kani sticks. While the tenderloin set was "simply" good grade slices of prime beef.

We were given instructions to bring the broth to a simmer before putting our ingredients into the mix.. We promptly followed and in less than 5 minutes started enjoying the fruits of our cooking.

No guilt feelings here. Healthy food, satisfied bellies, new year resolutions intact!

Question is, " ... until when?" 128521
