It's been awhile since I've eaten at Tim Ho Wan and I really missed their Pork Buns So I brought my boyfriend with me to Rp since it's the nearest place where we can get Pork Buns cause I am craving for it!

When Tim Ho Wan opened it's first branch in the Philippines, it became a total hit and everyone I know would line up for hours just to get a hand of their pork buns. I though "Psssh!" Why are these people lining up for this, those are just pork buns which I've mistakenly associated with Siopao so I thought those people were too crazy to be obsessed with it. Little did I know I will love it too and will even be going back for it again and again.

I've been to Tim Ho Wan for around 3x already maybe? Yet I still haven't had enough Pork Buns that would make me tired of wanting it. So here are my top picks at Tim Ho Wan that I think i'd still be ordering even in the future:

Ahhh! Glorious Pork Buns 10084️ I honestly never thought I would like it since one of my peeves is to eat sweet viands like sweet and sour fish fillet, or bbq flavored food which I hate the most yet I REALLY REALLY FIND THIS DELICIOUS.

When I first saw it, it was love at first sight. I held it in my hands lightly then touched the outer shell softly and carefully as if it was the most delicate thing, smelled it and slowly munched on it. MMM! I can still remember that it tasted so good my first try made me dance! Hahaha!
I usually dance when the food is good and my boyfriend knows this LOL hahaha! So he laughed at me and even danced with me cause he liked it too!

It's good that regardless of the temperature, it still tastes good when it's room temp. But definitely TASTES better when HOT. I can eat around 6 pcs. In one sitting. The price is a good steal for 3 glorious quality pork buns! It's also an ideal meal for take outs!

Prawn Dumpling or Hakaw is my favorite Dimsum! The boyfie and I would agree that the best Hakaw we've ever tried would be at Tim Ho Wan's. We're both Hakaw fanatics and we have like a list of the best Hakaw's we've ever tried and this definitely is on top of it!

The serving of the shrimp is very generous, tastes very fresh, the wrapper is lights which doesn't make it too chewy, pair it with soy sauce and chili oil, and you're all good!

127834RICE WITH CHICKEN SAUSAGE AND MUSHROOM P170
Served in a hot stainless cup bowl, I find this meal interesting cause it comes with a special sauce that's supposed to be mixed with the rice and everything that's includes on the meal. Kevin ate all of it, and knowing that he's not much of a rice-consumer, I thought this must be really good 10084️ The serving is also worthy of the P170 cause it'll definitely fill you up!

At first bite I didn't understand how I would feel about this dish, I still can't find the right term to explain how this dish tasted but it's good. All I can say is without the special sauce it wouldn't taste as good cause the Vermicelli has no taste at all. Lol. I enjoyed how the server poured the sauce in generous amount on top of the dish like it was soup, I even used it as a dipping sauce for the Hakaw and still tasted yummy!

I've always wanted to try Tim Ho Wan but I don't have the patience for long lines in their Glorietta branch. Good thing they opened a branch in Robinson's Place Manila, and the place isn't as busy as their other branches.

This Tim Ho Wan bestseller is indeed very good. I really like the melt-in-your-mouth goodness of the buttery bun. I like that they use lean pork as filling (didn't see pork fat inside). BBQ Pork is a bit sweet so better to eat this along with dumplings or other items from this resto.

I super love the siomai128539 It's so meaty & flavorful. It has plump shrimp inside. I can say they use quality ingredients for their dumplings. Yum!

It has been a long long while since I last visited Robinsons Place Manila so when I went there a week ago, I was surprised with how it bloomed in terms of space, establishments and restaurants.

Everywhere you look at, there seems to be something new and something that's coming up. It actually reminded me of how Megamall is right now.

As I was with my best friend and she wanted to take out some food for her hubby and my family, we decided to check out Tim Ho Wan.

Located at the ground floor, Tim Ho Wan was quite small and not that highlighted compared to its strategic location in Megamall.

At around 6PM, the place isn't that jam-packed but there are groups eating early dinner I guess. We stayed outside as we were to order for to go already and we were handed out menus for us to choose from.

Their straightforward and simple menu items look really appetizing even in the photos. Given the prices, I can say that these are priced well accordingly.

We took out boxes of the restaurant's famous Pork Buns. At 3 pcs., they cost P145 and yes, they are worth it!

The first time I got to try these buns, I fell in love with them instantly. From the very good smell, yes, I claim that that never changes to the softness of the buns themselves to the flavorful pork filling that's a mixture of sweetness and saltiness altogether, you have nothing to not like with these buns.

Yes, they are best eaten when hot and during the day of purchase but after placing them in the refrigerator, and putting them in the oven to heat, the taste is still good after a couple of days. Tried and tested yes!

I've heard so much about this place and I was always curious on how good it actually was. Yesterday while walking around Robinson's Manila for a late lunch I saw there was no line at this place so we decided to try it. BBQ buns were a must and dumplings too. We also tried the rice with chicken, sausage & mushroom, reminded me of Hainanese chicken rice with sausage with mushroom. Hmmm, it was tasty but I was expecting more. We moved on to the dumplings and bean curd skin (both pork & shrimp), better, much better. The shrimp & spinach dumplings were different, in a good way. The last item served was the BBQ buns, heavenly! The light texture, sweetish dough, slightly crunchy covering. All this with a sweet, tender, saucy, tasty filling. It was all worth it. I washed it all down with cold barley water. I'll definitely go back and try the other choices but I'm sure to order the BBQ buns again!

you can never go wrong with the asado buns and spareribs (esp the sauce). try the hakaw also, big 127844 and tasty. for those who love spicy food, try their spicy dumplings 128077🏼, it's a must.

First time to finally try it! Feeling ko kasi hindi ako mabubusog dito kaya di matuloy tuloy kumain dito :D haha! Ordered pork spare ribs at ang onti ng ulam haha! Mild lang yung flavor and for me, medyo ordinary lang yung taste. Dumplings with chili sauce was really good :) picture palang sa menu, naimagine ko na yung lasa hahaha! Sobrang gusto ko siya. Mas babalikan ko pa kesa sa pork buns haha! Pero masarap naman din, medyo natatamisan lang ako sa bun :D service was excellent and nabusog naman ako hehe! Yun nga lang nainis nanay ko kasi nakalimutan niyang Friday at bawal ang pork hahaha

Post duty lamon as we say it with my co-workers. It was first time going here and I was kinda excited to try their famous pork buns. No long lines waiting fo us like the one in Megamall I always passed by.

The store was a bit small. Seats are uncomfortable. Service was great. Menu is simple, I didn't expect it for a chinese restaurant.

Pork Buns. I like the crispy texture outside and the filling still hot inside when served. It was ok for me, the filling was too sweet for me. It could have been perfect it was a bit salty to compliment the sweet bun. I still prefer the Ippudo pork buns. 128540

Dumplings. We ordered the pork and spinach. It was good specially the spinach dumplings.

Raddish Cake. It's weird for a cake but my co-worker loves raddish cake. Haha

Not good for gutom. Price is expensive for the small servings.

Dinner out with my colleagues, and we chose to go to a place we already knew, tried and tested kung baga :) sarap talaga ng Pork Buns and dimsums nila e :) 128077128077128077128077128077 i tried their cold barley water, and i liked it even their ice tea, the berry taste was delightful..

Kahit na less than 200 lang ang price nila inabot kme ng 2k for 4people hahahha.. Takaw lang... And paranag ang laki ng service charge nila kaya d na ko nag tip hahaha :))))

Still Tim Ho Wan! Sarap!

Tim Ho Wan has been known for its Pork Buns. Like most people, it is also my favorite order. I think I can eat 5 pork buns in one seating! The bun itself is a delight, and the filling compliments it perfectly! Who can resist those pork buns???

My other favorite is their prawn dumplings! Prawn dumpling! Do I need to say more? It’s like freshly prepared everytime!!

What I loved about the branch here in Robinsons Ermita is because it’s near my place. Also, there is no queue unlike in Megamall. The worst part about my visit was that, the staff was in a hurry for us to leave. She keeps on staring at our table when we’re about to finish eating. And then she cleaned the tables while we’re still seating! I was forced to ask for the bill because it’s kinda rude to stay in an empty table.

The line wasn't long when my mom and I were strolling through the mall one day so we decided to have dinner here. I first experienced Tim Ho Wan in Hong Kong and I wanted to see if it would be the same thing.

Had their pork rib rice, beef with fried egg, pork and shrimp dumplings and of course their famous baked BBQ pork buns. I liked the pork rib rice bowl but I will always think that the beef with fried egg bowl has a really weird consistency haha. The dumplings were good as well. Their pork buns are more on the sweeter side, but that isn't really a bad thing. My mom really liked them and wanted to take out more for later. Overall, pretty pleasant experience, similar to Hong Kong and food is fairly affordable.

This restaurant has the BEST pork buns in town! I love how they serve it hot and has a crispy texture on the outside. Also, we ordered 2 Rice with Beef & Fried Egg, the texture of the beef is weird but its yummy because of the sauce. Plus, Stir Fry Noodles (not in photo) it has the right balance of flavors and i love it.

One week after, we started to crave HK dishes and so here we are!

Again, it is impossible to see a table with no pork buns! I hope di ako magsawa! LOL.

This time I chose to have their congee with lean pork, century egg, and salted egg (aside from the pork buns). It was really good! Made me remember the congee I usually have near the market at our house in HK. They did the rice perfectly in terms of the texture. The tasty pork bits and the eggs complemented and were of the right proportions. 128079🏻128079🏻 why did i only try their congee now? I definitely will be ordering this again if I crave the ones I usually have in Hk! 128516

My sister got the Pork Rib Rice and it was good as well. I want to know how they make their special sauce which is the reason why I finish my rice bowl clean! It makes the rice really yummy, panira diet. Haha!

I'm giving 5 stars for this review because it's my first time to try Tim Ho Wan since its first store opened here in the Philippines.

When we were strolling around Robinsons Place Manila, we saw that Tim Ho Wan was finally open and lo and behold, no line! I was a happy child.

Ordered the famous pork buns and loved how sweet and crispy the actual bun was! Their lotus wrapped rice or ma-chang was also really tasty! Not a fan of the stir fried noodles since it was a bit cold and oily too.

Overall, it was a great visit. Left with a happy filled tummy!

Yes! Now I've been to the latest and all branches of Tim Ho Wan in Manila. Isn't that a feat?! Loved TMH since by last Hong Kong sojourn. And now finally they are here and with just the same looks (maybe even better) and quality with the original. Thankful for the group who brought this here.

They're on their first week of opening and has a promo of free pork buns for the first 100 customers until Friday. Lucky to have reached the place early 128517

Of course, their pork buns are really good! Highly recommending this to all who haven't tried it yet. It's close to the ones I've tried in HK 128518

Also got their Spare Rib Rice topping and it was okay. There's too much rice in relation to the (bony/mabuto) pork ribs. Too much bones, haha would like to see more of the meat. Liked the sauce though. I've tried their other toppings in other branches and the pork buns are the only ones really super worth coming back for. The others tasted typical for my taste, but not bad. 128517
