Truly disappointed with their cookies 128542

Oatmeal- The cinnamon taste was way too overwhelming, even if you just a take a small bite.

Chocolate Chip Cookie- visually unappealing but I gave it the benefit of the doubt hoping they used quality chocolate chunks. The chocolate was okay, bit chewy and that's ok but the dough itself didn't taste good..

Black Forest donut log in the photo too but not a fan of black forest so didn't taste it.

So sad I didn't finish the cookies ☹️
Only plus is that they're open 24hrs.

Maybe a coffee order will change my mind next time.

1. Steak and cheese (Php 160) is sulit since di naman tinipid ung cheese and beef.

2. Honey lemon tea (Php 80 medium) is really good especially if you have cough and colds.

3. Classic bagel with cream cheese ang tigas nung bagel. :/ bagel ko tuloy kumain. 128586

What I like about this branch, you can stay for two hours and you won't get that "look" from the staff hehe

Before the year ended last year, Josh and I went out on a year-ender dinner at Uptown Mall BGC. Before going home, we dropped by Tim Hortons to grab some Timbits for take home. 128522

They had a promo during that time: Buy 2 Get 1! 128156 We bought Assorted Timbits (Php 80 - 10 pcs), and got 3 for the price of 2. What a steal! 128525 Josh and I both loved it! My favorite flavor was the chocolate glazed one. But each one was fluffy and fresh!

Also, we were so glad to see our friend, Kat, when we visited. She's part of the pre-opening team of this branch of Tim Hortons. 128525 So glad to see you, Kat! 128156128156128156

After our hearty lunch, my mom’s best friend suggested to have coffee and dessert in Tim Horton’s Uptown Mall. To be honest, it’s my first time to go to Tim Horton’s. I was really curious why a lot of people actually love Tim Horton’s. My mom’s best friend can even attest to that. When she went to Canada, she told me her experiences eating in Tim Horton’s.

I ordered their cappuccino in small size (95php) and we ordered 20pcs. of Timbits (160php), Italiano Bagel (270php) and another kind of sandwich (forgot what it’s called. Will post the picture still). I now understand why a lot of people love Tim Horton’s. Their cappuccino isn’t that strong. Its size complemented the price which is a great factor. Their Timbits was also good although it reminded me of Dunkin Donuts. Their bagel was also good but I wouldn’t say it’s very satisfactory. I guess if they could change the type of cheese used (if it was more creamier), then that’s the time I could say it’s very satisfactory.

I am going back to have more of their coffee and maybe if I get hungry, try their regular donuts.

Everyone was so excited when Tim Hortons announced that they will be bringing in the well-loved brand to Manila. I've heard about Tim Hortons but I could not share the same giddiness as I've never tried it before. The crazy long line sure made me curious though but figured that it must be just because it was new and everyone wanted to know how good this Canadian brand really is. But the practical me opted to wait and I've had my first sip several weeks after it opened its doors to the public.

Hello, Tim Hortons.

It has been weeks since its grand opening but this Canadian joint known for its coffee and doughnuts was still packed when I dropped by at 3 pm on a weekday. The good thing though was that I was the next person in line so I didn't have to queue that long.

I was still full from my late lunch then so I just opted to go for a medium cup of Double Double (PHP80). I was told tha the bestseller is French Vanilla but I opted for the famous DD as it's the one recommended in the reviews I've read.

Service was quick as I didn't even have time to look for an available seat before my drink was made ready for pick up.

I was surprised that the medium cup is actually big for its price. I felt that I got a good deal as soon as I got my cup of joe. And taste-wise... it was actually good too. Okay, it's just your simple coffee with two servings of cream and sugar. But I like my coffee that way. Don't get me wrong. I also enjoy single origin coffee and those that use more sophisticated brewing methods. However, there are days when simple coffee like this will do. And for its price, I'm definitely heading back for more.

I've read mixed reviews about its doughnuts but I'd still like to give it a try before I judge it.

Original Brewed Double Double coffee was a great choice. Just felt guilty with that double cream and double sugar but it was perfect. The combination brought out the brewed coffee's taste. If you like sweet and creamy coffees, you'll definitely want to try this. Also, I noticed that it's not that expensive compared to other coffee brands.

Crispy Chicken. 140. The bread was like a bagel in texture. But it was just ok. Tasted like it was just put together.

Donuts were too dense for me.

The price of the drinks are very attractive, so much lower than the mermaid. But the food there is better than here, especially the 3 mushroom one which is the same price. I even like the croissant in D's waaay more at half the price. Which leads me to my next comment that the donuts are inferior here too.

I haven't tried this in Canada as I've never been there. But it's popular for a reason and I'm hoping they can work out the kinks in flavor soon.

Came here a few months ago. Really hoping they've improved since then.

I ordered a small iced coffee to go and it actually good. Although! It's not my kind of coffee because it's too milky. Some people like their coffee milky and in that case, I'd like to think that they'll gonna love this drink to bits.

So I've been wanting to try this cafe for a while but was always hesitant coz it's always full. But finally, when bffs called for a titasofmanila session, Tim Horton's it is!

I got a cappuccino and 9996🏼 donuts. Yes, 2 donuts. Just coz I couldn't decide which one to try first. And I might not be able to go back here soon so yeah, DO NUT judge me. Hehe.

Cappuccino 9749️ was surprisingly good. The medium size was more than enough.

Donut with srinkles 127849 was fun. It was soft but chewy and the sweet bits of sprinkles added some texture and sweetness. Boston creme donut was good too. It's a bigger size compared to DD's so I guess the price is worth it naman.

I would come back for their coffee and the small donuts.

Finally I got the chance to visit Tim Hortons last Sunday. It was crowded but manageable, since we were able to get a seat in few minutes after ordering.

All seats are full. Me & my friends are so eager to try, everyone's holding this red cup ! And I want coffee right away. No sweat when we fall in line. Quick service and the cashier gives recommendations for baffling customers.

I tried their Double Chocolate (P40), its like dark chocolate taste and not sweet. Perfect for my Medium sized, Double Double (2 sugar,2 creamer brewed coffee)for only P80. Cheaper than what I expected.

Verdict: coffee is good, it satisfies me and cheaper than I expected. Their donut, tastes good than the usual donuts that I ate128512

A good place for good cheap(er) coffee and food. And when I say cheaper i mean to use Starbucks as my benchmark. 128517

The bagel sandwiches, soup, and Timbits are sure winners. Muffins, paninis, and donuts are just alright. For coffee you gotta start with their specialty, the double double. Its sweet and creamy and gooooooddd. I could survive on a double double and birthday cake Timbits all day!

Nowadays the line isn't as hectic as before. OA kasi dati with everyone sumasabay sa hype. It can get crowded inside but the turnover is pretty quick and the line moves just as quickly naman.

Finally got to try their original brew "double double". As usual their brews are a lot more cheaper than Starbucks, but definitely not short on taste... it was good.. light to the taste but the kick was there. Also got their choclate eclair which was one of the best ones I've ever tried... 10084 this place... officially a Hortons' fan 128525

If you're a caffeine-fueled person like me, who cannot function without a good cup of Joe, then Tim Horton's is the new place for you. They're now open 24/7 to attend to your cravings any time of the day, any day of the week! 128516

I'm quite a big spender when it comes to coffee because I need good coffee to function well everyday. Too bad Tim Horton's is too far from work so I was only able to try it 2-3 weeks ago and I'm telling you, my 1st visit was worth it!

Their coffee ranges from P70-P150. It's cheap but the quality is superb! I would opt to get coffee at Tim Horton's everyday if they had a branch near work!!! Oh Tim, I hope you open a branch in Makati soon 10084

Tim Hortons was founded 1964 by Hockey Legend Tim Horton and they've been serving Canadian coffee and baked goods for over 50 yrs and last March they open its first branch in UG/F in UP Town mall BGC.

The place was full that first week and we patiently waited for the long lines just to try it.

So happy that finally Canada's world renowned coffee house here in Manila! We had icedcapp and timbits doughnuts

Aside from coffee their smoothie is good here also.

In fairness, even if there were long queue outside , the management were able to handle it, fast service and they have many staffs that time ready to accept the orders of huge crowd waiting to try this Canadian coffee shop in Manila .

I know people who reside in Canada, and everytime they'd go for coffee, they would always compare it to Tim Horton's saying its a lot better than what they're having at SB or any other coffee shop here in the Philippines. Thankfully it's now open here and located @ Uptown mall. Been wanting to tey it, but I always find myself going to a different shop since the line was always quite long. Finally! Was able to try it and it was one of the best coffees I've ever had. Came in, ambience and people were pleasant. Asked what was good over ice and they recommended their Iced Coffee. I got the Large size for only P95! It was comparable to a Venti size perhaps even bigger. The taste? It wasn't as sugar loaded as some would serve it. It had the perfect blend with just the right amount of ice. Next time will go for their famous original brew double double. 128076128076128076 A must try!

Didn't expect though that after tasting their donuts and drinks, i must say the trend was only over rated. Canadian based store made huge success of its pioneer location at the posh Uptown Mall in BGC. From there, it continues to expand its existence in Metro Manila with 2nd store in U.N. Avenue Manila and got to see its soonest store in Buendia Ave., Makati. I got excited to try this one, luckily i had to go in Uptown Mall so i had the chance to order some. Ordered a Vanilla Latté and a dozen of Tim Hortons donuts. It was hard for me to find a vacant seat but after having my orders, looked a vacant one as if it was really meant for me. Donuts were ugh, as if no special taste and not even remarkable though the content does not lack substance. I tried the assorted stuff in a packaging of a plain white box and the experience was kinda turn me off. The vanilla latté is a taste so sweet you'll never find it perfectly matched with the donuts. With its existence, i think this will only be a 3rd option with the available stores offering the same food.

It's been almost 2 months since Tim Hortons opened in Uptown, and I had no interest to try it YET due to the ridiculously long lines that could have me wait for an hour. Now that the craziness for this franchise from Canada has died down, it's time for me to step in and have a bite.

TIMBITS P10 each or P80/ 10 pieces
Who wouldn't want to try the cheapest item in Tim Hortons' menu? I got to try everything and here's what I have to say about each:
-Birthday cake: the best of the bunch. It's not really the to-die-for level but it's my favorite of the five because it was moist and got the sweetness that I wanted.
-Chocolate filled: This one's like a bavarian donut with chocolate inside. I didn't like this because the chocolate tasted weird.
-Chocolate glazed: Usually this flavor's my favorite from other donut brands, but Tim Hortons' was DRY. It was disappointing.
-Strawberry Filled: Also like a bavarian donut with strawberry inside. Tasted typical.
-Old-Fashion Glazed: This one wasn't so bad as well. It was also plain had a bit of sweetness.

BOSTON CREAM P50
This is one of their premium/ signature flavors, and I liked it. It was a bit thicker than the usual donuts, it had some chocolate glaze on top and some cream filling.

HOT CHOCOLATE (SMALL) P100
AT first sip I was really charmed by this drink, but only then in the succeeding ones did I realize that it was a bit too sweet. I wasn't able to finish it.

My trip to Tim Hortons wasn't a waste as I did like some of their donuts, but it's still a bit more pricey than the places here, although the taste is not that different. They say the coffee is what's good, so if you're a coffee enthusiast, you might want to start there.

I ordered the Frozen Hot Chocolate and it was OK. I was expecting a more chocolate-y and sweeter drink. We also ordered Timbits and they were OK as well. Nothing special, Nothing I'd come back for very soon. 🙂

(Sorry, DD's Icy Choco and Munchkins pa rin!)
