If you are from UST or other school from españa you should definitely know about Tinapayan Festival. I'm not from UST but during our board exam preparation me and my friend rented an apartment along Maria Christina St. It was like a second home for me during that time. Our go to merienda place was here in tinapayan. During those time as a student you still have a tight budget and pandesal, spanish bread, loaf bread and other types of bread is the best option. Wow so much flash back hahaha.

During those days we just knew the place as tinapayan and would always see the owner being interviewed in the news regarding the price hike of pandesal. They are the standard when it comes to bakery. They also have lots of cake that are good and very cheap.

I'm so happy that till now they are still doing good and everytime I pass by Tinapayan my mom still ask me to buy here their ube or cheesy loaf bread. The bread are still good and delicious. My mom still prefer this bread compare to breadtalk or other high end bakery. They also have some stall in some mall. I saw one here in Fishermall. Nice no need to go all the way españa.

Overall if you want some old school good bakery goodies. Tinapayan is the place to go to in España. 128522128077

The search for the best kalihim isn't over. And I think I found one that comes a little closer to Blue Kitchen's 170php-version! The filling is good but not as siksik as Blue Kitchen's and becomes thinned out midway of the bread. Good thing though is that the bread itself is really dense, smooth and creamy like monay. The colors are sold separately too, you can either get the pink one or the violet one, whichever you prefer. And the price? A whooping 16 php!128561128522 Their cheese rolls are a must-try too!128522

First tried stuff from Tinapayan Festival when a friend left me some eclairs and cream puffs in the clinic for me. I did not know why she left them because there was no occasion but I gladly accepted it. Namiss lang siguro ako haha! 128077🏻 both tasted not bad. eclair was a bit hard already maybe because it stayed in the ref for maybe two to three days. Course, I'd search | looloo where these were bought and saw their main branch is at Dapitan and a stall in Fisher Mall. Also read reviews about their breads so I thought of visiting the one in Dapitan.

Got to drop by yesterday during my break from studying in Amsterdam Dutch Coffee because it's just a few steps away from the café.

Took a cheesy loaf, ensaymadas, and their special silvanas out and ate some of them in the cafe. :)) The silvanas tasted okay. Not the superior class but ok for it's just 25pesos per piece. Cheesy loaf was good. Very very soft texture even a day after purchase. I can eat it by itself even without putting spread or butter. This one around 150pesos a loaf. The ensaymadas were also okay. Got the original and ube flavored one. Cheap at just 20-30pesos per piece.

I'm most probably dropping by again just for the cheesy loaf. The rest were okay.

Tried their Sylvanas for the second time and still amazes me how good it is. This time, I bought 4 pcs of it for just 100 bucks! Totally worth it!

I'm a bit curious about their cheesecakes though. They also have yema cakes, but those were made-to-order.

Even if it's far I make it a point to visit once in a while for their baked goodies. And I usually get additional goodies, too! 128077127775 thanks Bro Chito. The best cheesy loaf, silvanas, evil-ish choco mousse and crema de fruta!! Thanks Bro & Sis 128522

Recent discovery: wheat bread! 128077 Bread remains soft even if you keep it inside the fridge.

Grab a pack (or two) of their pandesal, cheese loaf and mongo bread too. 128523

Btw this is from their Market Market stall.
