I can't count how many times I've been here. But the recent visit I had was last May 30, while I was waiting for an event in commune.

I ran errands before going here. I came at around 5PM and saw the corporate people inside so I decided I'll be sitting outside while waiting until 6:3PM.

I noticed there were new crews. Huhu. No more smiles as I walk through the door. Former baristas used to greet me "Good afternoon, Maam." With an ocean-wide smile. But the new team were straight faced like uncooked pasta. It changed everything. The way I feel the ambience was turned upside down due to their lack of friendliness.

I ordered my usual Irish cream on coffee rocks and changed my mind about having potato wedges.

I used to stay for like two to four hours in this place with two cups of coffee and any sandwiches, but this time, an hour already made me feel like they wanted me to go away.

From my peripheral view, I can see them looking at me every minute. Maybe they were thinking I won't pay for my coffee and just flee anytime. 128530
Due to that, I already paid for my bill and left the place unsatisfied of their service.

Even during I was paying, the way they look is not comforting me. Do I really look like I'm a bad person to run away from a 95 peso due bill???? 🙄

As recommended by an officemate, we tried Tipsy Beans for lunch. The place is so small and cozy. It depicts a coffee shop vibe with all of its artwork and fancy writings on the wall and counters. Their menu ranges from regular rice meals to pasta to sandwiches to breakfast rice meals.

Our orders came in a little after 30-40 freaking minutes. We had to keep on following it up. The only server/cashier says that our meal's being prepared already, it's just that there were a lot of customers. If you scan the place, there were only four people who ordered before us. The first of those four customers was able to finish her meal and had left the place already before we were even served. 128078🏼

I ordered Adobo Flakes rice meal and it was okay. The meal itself will interest you since the sauce is on a shot glass. After all, it's your choice on how you wanna eat adobo. I was expecting a very hot meal since I had the impression that it's still being cooked hence the long wait. I like how dry the adobo flakes were but it lacks that salty taste. The rice seemed like it was cooked waaay early hence the not-so-hot-or-warm taste.

Just dropped by this place after lunch to have a drink before going back to work. Love the latté on coffee rocks! The place seems really cozy. Would love to come back to try their food.

(So it's me again)
Tipsy beans is on my official list of cafe to visit when I just need to chill and have a little drink or just want to sit.
My favorite spot is the window seat(well, of course, who would never want a window spot) where I can just see cars and people pass by which is relaxing when you're trying to drink a beverage of your choice.
One the reasons why I love going to tipsy beans is that its menu satisfies any of my mood, I want a sober drink? They got it, I want coffee? They have it. I want a drink with dash of liquor? Of course, they do have it!
The last time we got here we tried the coffee rocks, bacon milkshake, milo godzilla, tipsy frappe and their nachos as side snack. They're all good and affordable.
This time, I tried their creamy carbonarra which comes with two garlic bread. I love that they put effort in making the dish presentable(and instagrammable) and looks so good. Yes, it's creamy and delicious! I love that they gave generous amount of bacon bits!
The drink I tried this time is the VootBeer which intrigued me and friend last time. Vootbeer is a rootbeer with vodka. Expecting a not-so bad kick, I ordered it when I came ALONE. But as the first sip, damn, I suddenly remember the last time I drank a vodka. It was leaving a mark on my esophagus! But it was good! It will make you sip more and more even though it kicks you inside.
Well, I love it here also because the crews were serving me well.
Tipsy beans redefined your coffee and beverage experience for giving it a dash of liquor without you wanting to spit it. Experiments are surprisingly great, and this is one of my favorites. 128521
I always love the thought of being alone... I went here at around 2PM and I am the only costumer. I think the place is packed during lunch, that's what the crew told their manager.

[ps. I heard from them *accidentally* that their lepanto branch is still not open, again, this is the Jupiter Branch]

Can somebody please change the location from Lepanto bldg to 124 Jupiter St. Makati? We walked from Paseo to Jupiter because we thought that Tipsy Beans is at Lepanto 128557

But the walk is not the talk. The walk was worth it because it's a great place to have some minicelebration(bc I passed my summer class and she passed battery exam) slash catching up with a friend! A small but not crowded place with good music!

The photo above is entitled "The Aftermath and the New Beginning" I don't know what made us order sober drinks after tipsy drinks... Maybe because we were curious about the drink "Milo Godzilla" and "Bacon Milkshake"?
All of it were good and satisfying. Coffee with a dash of liquor is a perf combination! Half to wake you up and half to make you sleep... Hahaha!
Probably going back to try the Shark Infested and the Vootbear 128514
Awesome service because of approachable crews!
Hoping to have more menu like from Mandaluyong 128516
