Friend from Germany visited for vacay and it's imperative that we have a dinner and drinks.

Of course I arrived early to avoid traffic, so I ordered Brewed Coffee (Php90). For my dinner, I ordered Pulled Pork Jack BBQ Sliders (Php350). Also suitable for sharing but I was able to finish it by myself 128514 Which means it is pretty delicious. Then every Wednesday, they have a promo for Johnnie Walker mixed drinks. Just follow the instructions to get your free drink. Ordered Johnnie Soda (Php200)

Visited Tipsy Pig after a failed attempt at The Yard. We had our favorites that still hit the spot. The Piggy Style Burger and the Spicy Shrimp Rigatoni. The burger had 3 patties of wagyu beef which we enjoyed. The spicy shrimp could use more spice for some but was just perfect for me. We washed this down with a bottle of super dry and frozen iced tea. Very attentive servers despite the very busy Sat night.

New on their menu: Cheese Bombs

Its their term for Mozzerella Sticks! 🤣

Came with Marinara Sauce, Thousand Island Dip and this Yellow Dip that tasted like Pimiento.

Paired this off with Super Dry, their Salted Caramel Beer, Corona and a shot of Patron. 128077🏻

**also ordered sisig tacos (yum!!) but was not able to get a pic 128541

My god!! It's so good but hypertensive. Since I started dieting, I had a piece of sisig tacos and blue marlin. Loved both!! Tried a small piece of crispy pata. It's also great.

You can also drink here. When I was there, the TV was showing a game between Oklahoma and Memphis.

Lastly, they have Stella Artois draft beer. I think it's 120 a mug.

Noisy. It's pretending to be a gastropub but they're playing club music that's way above a tolerable level. Everyone's seated, so it's incomprehensible why they're turning up the beats.

And I really thought it was an Old Fashioned. But they call it an Old Passion, which had barely any alcohol. Water with a slight hint of lemon.

Really love this place.

Had lunch here last Sunday for my post-bday celebration with my little bro, Dom.

Had their Crispy Pata, Tipsy Wings and Crispa pizza.

The crispy pata, as always, is really good and delicious. The skin is very crispy and the meat is tender. A bit pricey though at 770 pesos.

The Tipsy Wings is a good appetizer, sweet and delicious.

The Crispa pizza is also good. Though there's too much mayo on it.

Overall it's a great dining experience. Food is great. Serving time is good. Customer service is also good.

Sorry, no pictures as we're already very hungry. Haha.

We were choosing a place to have dinner and since My friend has never been around Capitol commons, we decided to check out the eateries around there. We landed in Tiosy Pig maybe because it had an interesting name. Obviously with a name like TIPSY PIG, for sure it would have good bar chows that will go well with wine, beer, etc. they had extensive menu, however their wine selection (by the glass) was limited. We started with shroom soup. That was good with real bits of puréed mushroom. My Kare-kare was excellent. Crisp pork (like lechon kawali or bagnet) with real grounded peanuts & lotsa veggies. My friend had their steak w real mash potatoes. It was tasty but didn't leave as good an impression as the Kare-Kare. Their service though is mediocre. The staff was friendly but needs A little more training.. They forgot to bring the steak knife, for example. Overall we had a good experience. The place is lively and it seemed like there were lots of patrons who visit the place. We were in the waiting list for 15minutes on a Saturday night.

I was at the area earlier today and decided to grab a quick lunch at Tipsy Pig since I have been hearing a lot of good reviews. I had salisbury steak (I was starving that's why I forgot to take a photo 9996🏻️) which was served with a cup of garlic rice and buttered corn as the side dish. I would have preferred plain white rice to go with the salisbury steak since it was already "garlicky" enough for my taste. Nevertheless, the food is great and the service as well. I paid a total of 381php. I think it is reasonable enough considering the ambiance of the resto. Next time, I will try their Crispy Pata. 128055

Sunday Family Bonding is never complete without a sumptuous evening feasts to call it a day.
I originally wanted to try tipsy pig with my cousins or friends because of the bar-vibe and chillax beer session that tipsy pig is offering. But oh well my dad insisted because of their crispy pata and kare-kare. 128523128523.
127860- Food was great!! Love their kare-kare. Super peanut-y. As in with chopped peanuts that's still apparent not unlike others that use peanut butter. Baked Mussels are ohhh sooo cheesssyy! Sarap!
🍽🍽- Servings? Uhmmm somewhat not worthy for their price. One to share dish is only good for 2 persons.
128176- pricey for the serving size but definitely worth it for the taste
🤗🤗- Good serving staff
128161- Just a tip, arrange an early reservation because the place gets jam packed specially at night. We were just lucky that the reserved tables will be occupied after 6:30pm and we arrived at 5:30pm soo we actually rushed a bit. Haha.

Been wanting to try Tipsy Pig during lunch since I've tasted their food. For a quick one, I ordered their Tapa Aglio Olio. It was good - salty enough to resemble a good tapa meal. The pasta was drowned in oil, too. It had so many garlic chunk though so you have to watch out for your breath if you'll be having a meet up after this. In a brief second, I almost forgot that it's a tapa-inspired food because it's almost near to adobo.

Is it the season for our HS barkada reunion and we chose Tipsy Pig for our bonding place. Whenever my friends and I would meet, we would often order crispy patas 128514 Since Tipgy Pig offers crispy pata in their menu, we grabbed the chance to have a taste of it.

For me the crispy pata (Php 770) is just fine. I was expecting a boom factor in it but maybe my standards were just really high. What I liked about this dish is the flavorful sauce that came along with it 128523

We also ordered Beer Can Chicken (Php 750). Too bad I was not able to take a picture of this. When the chicken was served, it was already chopped 128557 I was even too excited to have a nice shot of the chicken but oh well 128546 In the menu, Beer Can Chicken was so enticing to order due to its presentation. The whole roasted chicken was supposed to be standing on a can of beer but nonetheless the chicken was great. The mild spiciness of the skin added texture and flavor to it.

The service was also good. The waiters respond fast enough. Since it was too hot that night and our reserved table was located outside the restobar, we requested for an electric fan to be placed near our table. Im happy that they listened to our little request 128522

Lastly, since it is a restobar, there are a lot of drinks to choose from. They offer a variety of drinks from beer, to cocktails, vodka, rum and wine.

Had dinner with HS friends cause we havent seen each other for months. So we ordered wine and the following:
Sisig tacos (280pesos)
Shrimp Popcorn (490pesos)
Pulling Me Crispy (430pesos)

Yummy dishes! 128523 Plus great company. It was a fun night!

Getting a table might be difficult so make sure to make reservations before going there. 128522

This place in general is one of my favorite places to visit, for combined factors of excellent music, a kitschy ambience, superb food, colossal servings, pretty acceptable service, and good drinks (not to mention a wide selection of liquor & liqueurs).

All behold, their famous nachos, the serving about the size of three human heads combined.
