Been wanting to try Tipsy Pig during lunch since I've tasted their food. For a quick one, I ordered their Tapa Aglio Olio. It was good - salty enough to resemble a good tapa meal. The pasta was drowned in oil, too. It had so many garlic chunk though so you have to watch out for your breath if you'll be having a meet up after this. In a brief second, I almost forgot that it's a tapa-inspired food because it's almost near to adobo.

Is it the season for our HS barkada reunion and we chose Tipsy Pig for our bonding place. Whenever my friends and I would meet, we would often order crispy patas 128514 Since Tipgy Pig offers crispy pata in their menu, we grabbed the chance to have a taste of it.

For me the crispy pata (Php 770) is just fine. I was expecting a boom factor in it but maybe my standards were just really high. What I liked about this dish is the flavorful sauce that came along with it 128523

We also ordered Beer Can Chicken (Php 750). Too bad I was not able to take a picture of this. When the chicken was served, it was already chopped 128557 I was even too excited to have a nice shot of the chicken but oh well 128546 In the menu, Beer Can Chicken was so enticing to order due to its presentation. The whole roasted chicken was supposed to be standing on a can of beer but nonetheless the chicken was great. The mild spiciness of the skin added texture and flavor to it.

The service was also good. The waiters respond fast enough. Since it was too hot that night and our reserved table was located outside the restobar, we requested for an electric fan to be placed near our table. Im happy that they listened to our little request 128522

Lastly, since it is a restobar, there are a lot of drinks to choose from. They offer a variety of drinks from beer, to cocktails, vodka, rum and wine.

Had dinner with HS friends cause we havent seen each other for months. So we ordered wine and the following:
Sisig tacos (280pesos)
Shrimp Popcorn (490pesos)
Pulling Me Crispy (430pesos)

Yummy dishes! 128523 Plus great company. It was a fun night!

Getting a table might be difficult so make sure to make reservations before going there. 128522

This place in general is one of my favorite places to visit, for combined factors of excellent music, a kitschy ambience, superb food, colossal servings, pretty acceptable service, and good drinks (not to mention a wide selection of liquor & liqueurs).

All behold, their famous nachos, the serving about the size of three human heads combined.

Decided to swing by Tipsy Pig with friends after a set of drinks at Chivz. A two-story restaurant restaurant that have been making me want to appease my curioty. I've been wanting to try their bestselling Belly Good Sisig Tacos (P280), darn it was good! A mouthwatering combination of crispy-fried pork belly bits, chopped onions, and creamy sauce on tortilla wraps.

We arrived at around midnight, a good thing that they are open until wee hours of the morning. Old school RNB hits were playing in the background at that time which we enjoyed at al fresco during a cool weather.

Went to a quick post dinner with friends and Tipsy Pig was our 'best' choice near Ortigas. We ordered their infamous Salted Caramel Beer, Belly Good Sisig Tacos and The Dirty Mexicana. Their version of salted caramel beer is just okay but I like Rue's version better. The latter's smell and caramel flavor is more dominant than the former. The soft sisig tacos were good! Tipsy Pig got the crunchiness of some bits were just right. Good thing I prefer my sisig to be crunchy and not saucy. The Dirty Mexicana were their version of nachos; the serving was actually big enough for a group of 10's pica-pica. They were also generous when it comes to the toppings as there were a lot of cheese and meat on it.

A friend of mine also ordered their fried chicken with mashed potatoes. I forgot what it's called though. I got to taste the fried chicken and it was delicious. The dish somehow resembles to that of Kettle's.

My college friend checked-in to hotel and invited the group for dinner, it also serves as a mini reunion since we haven't seen each other for a while- memorable get together dinner awaits us! We looked for a restaurant along Capitol Commons that a group of 7 would definitely enjoy the night so we stumbled in front of the restaurant and get in. I immediately insists to be seated on the upperdeck because of the fact that my bunch of friends were really loud and to give us a comfy place too. For me the place is fair clean and appealing. We ordered the big plate mains since we're a big group.

127831 Beer Can Chicken- it's a roasted whole chicken erected in a can of pale pinsen, with grilled tortilla and buttered corn. Presentation wise was sooo appealing and unique, but the taste of the chicken was dry and it's not even juicy. Looks like overcooked and been to griller for a day! hahaha, Doesn't worth the price of 750. -11088
127830 Jack and coke BBQ ribs- served with coleslaw, grilled buttered corn, and choice of mashed potatoes, plain/garlic rice or crispy fries. The ribs cooked well, the taste of the sauce is a bit sweeter than normal, the coleslaw works well to the dish. The taste just match the price of 550. 110881108811088
128055 Triple chop-it's grilled pork chops with apple chutney, cherry tomatoes and mashed potatoes. I can say that it's underrated for it's price. We ordered 3 dishes and this has the biggest serving but the cheapest. Undercooked porkchops! aughhh! you can barely see the red part of the meat or maybe we're just not informed that it should be cooked that way, 128517 It taste good tho, the gravy sauce with the apple chutney fused very well to the porkchops that gives spike to my tastebuds! something new that left you suspicious and asking for more! 128513 Price is just 310. 11088110881108811088
127858 Mashed potato- Ecstatic! that's what I felt as I had my first spoonful of it! I taste the freshness of the potatoes, it was in bits, with milk and cheese i think, not so sure but it was the best mashed potato i ever tasted for my entire life! I will definitely comeback for it! 1108811088110881108811088
127854Mango Pavlova- been dreaming of making pavlova that's why as soon as I saw in the menu list, I immediately include it to our list of orders. It was good! The combination of meringue, almond slivers, whipped cream and fresh mangoes are perfect! Will definitely try it again! 11088110881108811088

The taste of their flavored beers were not constant. Sometimes the alcohol is too strong than the flavor, sometimes its just right. They can also make your drink if its not in the menu.

Try the Crispy Pata! Its superb!!!!

I come here so often, and I've always enjoyed their food and drinks and ambiance and service and everything else in between.

But I came here last night and I got the bill and gave my card, then the server informed me that their system was offline. WTF?! Buti na lang may dala akong cash. Paano kung wala?!

Next time I suggest if your system is offline, please inform the customers first before they order.

Simple lang naman diba? "Maam/Sir if you plan to pay via CC I would just like to inform you na offline po yung system."

SIMPLE!

We went there in daylight so there isn't that much people inside, everything is just over the top expensive. So bring a friend with you to have a cheaper bill! Serving sizes are for 2-3 people, so it was honestly worth it :) I want to experience dining in there at night, to be honest.

After having our dinner with friends at kapitolyo and choosing between coffee and beer, our great minds and souls chose beer since we haven't had one for a long time.

Ended at Capitol Commons. We ordered just the local beers and the dirty mexicana for us to munch something. The nachos is soo good.. Fully loaded with it's ingredients and has a big serving, i just don't like the jalapeno but the pulled pork, beef and the cheeses combination is definitely a bomb. We visited the place on a weekends and as much as we wanted to be seated inside, we couldn't because they are packed by the time we arrived. Outside seating is quite okay, super dim light that we couldn't see how appetizing the nachos was 128514128514 (that's why i don't have the picture). Servers are attentive, not having a hard time to call them.

Ambiance was great! Good lighting over the tables, dim lighting in the right areas. Best thing I had was the Sisig taco! Crunchy skin over the sisig that you smother with sweet sauce -- heaven in each bite! Boneless crispy pata would have been perfect if it was served warm, but the meat was tender, the skin crisp as chicharon. Kesong poutine was also good, but I would have wanted more kesong puti on the poutine. Jack and Coke BBQ Ribs was also good, maybe too sweet for some people, but it retaliates with a spicy kick at the end. Molten lava cake, as usual in any restaurant, was amazing. The cake it self was very, very good! The ice cream could use some wok though. Can't wait to try other stuff on their menu!
