For starter, we ordered Oyster Chinoise (around P3xx.xx/5pc per plate). It kind of reminded me of Takoyaki but this one is crispy on the outside and the sauce was like a thinner sweet chili sauce with lemon, honey and coriander/parsley. It was a perfect blend of flavors with just a right amount of every ingredient. We also had the Ratatouille Salad which costed around as much as the first. The arugula, micro-greens, zucchini and orange used were all fresh. The taste was so good. Our entree was Surf and Turf Salmon and Beef (not the exact name, costed P1,125.00/good for sharing) I loved our main course. The sauce was succulent. In fact, there was none left on the plate. My finale was the Dark Chocolate Souffle. I was advices to order this in advance since it would take 25min to cool so I did. I am not a fan of chocolate but really enjoyed it. Actually, it tasted like champorado :D but the choco was richer. My partner ordered Mocha cake which was also good but did not stand out. Our beverages were Ripe Mango Shake and Cucumber Shake. Both were on point and drama-free just the way we like it. The entire dinner costed us about P3,100.00 (2 sharing). Overall, Tito Chef is a winner! I would say, 5 out of 5 value for money. I felt loved in every food. Very passionate Tito Chef. He even helped my partner choose which dessert to order.

I enjoyed my visit in Tito Chef. The ambience and food were really great. I loved everything except for the lamb since it was very difficult to chew on.

Hello, looloo!

Ended March with a baaaang – had two consecutive cheat days! HAHA. The past two months were crazy, hence, the 2-month hiatus. And now that April's started, things are getting crazier. 128518128514

So we celebrated the parents' 32nd anniversary at Tito Chef last Mar31. "Finally!" I said to myself, as we parked the car in front of the restaurant. Every time we try to have breakfast here, it's always closed!!! Buti ngayon lunch kami pumunta, bukas na! Haha. Got a word from one of the staff that they don't serve breakfast anymore. Kaya naman pala. 128517

Anyway. The ambiance is soooo nice and homey! Para ka lang ininvite ni Tito Chef sa bahay niya, ganon ang feels haha. The servers were very, veryyyy accommodating and attentive. Di ka mauubusan ng tubig dito. 128514 Also, the wash room – BONGGA.

Now, onto the food we ordered. We had their Fresh Seafood Arrabbiata, Tenderloin Steak and Mushroom Pie, and Thyme and Garlic Grilled Pork Loin Chop.

The Arrabbiata (425 PHP) was very spicy and the seafood serving's generous. The parents didn't enjoy it though, sobrang anghang daw kasi. 128514 But the server said that we can ask for less spiciness next time haha.

Mom and dad shared on the Tenderloin steak (465 PHP). (Actually malaki rin kasi talaga yung serving kahit good for one lang daw.) The gravy was very flavorful! And ang dami rin serving ng salad on the side. They asked for additional pilaf rice na lang din, which is buttered. @_@

Lastly, the Pork Loin Chop (498 PHP). It was initially served with potato gratin, but I can't live without rice, so I asked for it to be switched to pesto rice. I loooove herbed food! The thyme and garlic marinade was so good, the flavor came out beautifully. Haha. (If that's an acceptable description for the flavor 128514) And sobrang bagay siya sa pesto rice. Tapos ang laki ng serving, busog lusog! 128514

Now, the dessert(s)! We tried three flavors: Matcha (185 PHP per slice), which is a layered cake with walnuts(?) and chocolate lining in the middle; Strawberry Shortcake (195 PHP per slice), which is... uhm, strawberry; and La Opera (225 PHP per slice), a coffee-based layered cake with dark chocolate on top. All cakes aren't that sweet, which is good, hindi nakakaumay. 128077🏻

Will definitely dine in this place again. It was an exceptional experience. Kudos!

This is Tito Chef's version of Chicken Peri-Peri.

It's grilled marinated chicken quarter with holy basil rice and Asian Chimichurri!

The food presentation was just lovely first of all. The meat was tender and very flavorful. The rice had thin slices of potatoes on top, which were perfectly cooked. They added slices of vegetables underneath the chicken as well. The rice, chicken with the side dish, go well together when combined.

The serving size was just right, enough for one person.

Service was great as well. Their staff were very attentive to the customer's needs.

Overall it was a great dining experience! :)

This time I decided to try their Spanish chorizo pasta. It was delicious as expected. It has this mild spike of spiciness that makes the dish appetizing. The spanish chorizo blends well with the red sauce and gives that saltiness that balances everything out. I just can't say anything wrong about this dish. Simple but perfectly executed.

Good food and great service, Tito Chef will surely deliver!

Met up with a friend for lunch and since I'll be in the South area today, I suggested we try a resto in BF for a change. After several resto suggestions, we agreed to try Tito Chef.

Tito Chef looked fancy from the outside, but once you step inside, you'll be impressed by its bright, cozy interiors. There's ample parking space in front and there's a guy assisting the customers outside.

My friend got there ahead of me (I was late, damn BF traffic 128527) so while waiting, she ordered a Tomato Fondue and kept raving about it. It's basically thick tomato soup with cheeses and croutons, but she loved how comforting this dish was. I would've loved to try it too but unfortunately, I'm not allowed to eat anything with tomatoes yet. 128529 For our mains, she had the Fried Chicken Mac and Cheese- fried chicken fingers with mac & cheese and ranch dip. Serving size was generous which makes it sulit for its price. She liked it but found it a bit cloying halfway through her meal. I suggest you share this with someone. I had the Teriyaki Glazed Grilled Chicken and it was good! The sauce was a perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Even the Japanese fried rice was tasty. 128077🏼

To cap off our meal, we shared a slice of Matcha Praline Torte. Matcha cake with a layer of cream, chocolate and praline bits in the middle. We liked that the matcha flavor wasn't too strong or bitter. Cake was a bit dry though so hopefully they can improve on that.

We spent around P500-P600 per head which I feel was okay. Can't complaint with their service too. It was fast and the servers were attentive. Even their comfort room was well-maintained. Clean, smells good and they even have cologne and mouthwash in case you'll need it. 128522

Ate here because we were looking for a place to "pagpag" after visiting a wake. This place was recommended to us since we're not familiar with places in Parañaque.

The waiter told us that their entrees are good for one person only so I got their Cedar Grilled Salmon (P465) and my husband had their Barbecue Pork Spareribs (P365).

Serving is pretty big but I expected more on the taste and overall quality of the food considering the price per plate. Esthetics is great, they really made sure that the food looks good. Sadly, the food is all eye candy to me. For someone who cooks a mean salmon (according to my husband), a paid salmon meal should blow me away. Instead, I wished I bought fresh salmon with what I paid Tito Chef and made baked salmon good for the entire family. Plus, the salmon isn't that fresh, I was desperate to eat something that could remove the fishy taste from my mouth.

My husband complained the the sauce of his spareribs was too sweet. Both of us did not finish our food.

Maybe we've tasted better ribs and salmon elsewhere (with better pricing) so Tito Chef was just OK for us.

I bought cookies to bring home to my daughter and the attendant told me it was chewy. I took a bite on the way home and it was not chewy at all. Or maybe tough is the new chewy? 128530

Soup: Truffled Mushroom Soup Puree

One of the best soup I ever tried! Its creamy and mushroom was mince super small yet chewy. Definitely inlove with this soup!

Appetizer: Chorizo & Mushroom

It taste ok. Chorizo was sweet, just that its really oily. Bread is dinner roll bread.

Main: Cedar Grilled Salmon

So yes, I was really attracted on the pic coz its salmon but the taste, its just ok. I was thinking it was magical and all but no, its ordinary, nothing special at all. (Good thing my boss pay for it or else I'll cry my 500 gone to waste)

Dessert: Banoffee Pie & Dulce De Leche Cheesecake

Banoffee Pie has an "umay" factory. Its like I'm eating a bunch of whip cream and gigantic bananas at the bottom. I'll choose Banapple's version than this. The Dulce De Leche Cheesecake was to die for! Its something heavenly for sure!

Overall experince is good! Ambiance is quiet and high class. Service and crews are good, they were really attentive and friendly. Food for price, I can say its too pricey for the food. There just really good in platting. Looks can be decieving! 128522

After a stressful day of getting my school requirements done, Natz and I decided to have a late lunch. We were supposed to go to Yabu but we couldn't, because of coding.

Natz wanted to eat somewhere new, so she decided that we try Tito Chef. We went around 2PM, so the place wasn't packed. Parking was okay; it was nice that someone assisted when we parked and also when we left128077

The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there. There wasn't any wait time, since we're the only ones there. That's why when it was time to order, I felt pressured because there were about 2 people standing near our table, waiting for our order. It's just my preference, I don't like it when servers are simply standing near me as I make my order. Nonetheless, they were all really nice and accomodating128522

We started with the Aged Callos Stew. It was served with bread rolls. The callos was pretty good, but I still prefer my Tita's homemade one. The bread roll was soft and tasty and it went well with the callos.

Then we had the Crispy Squid and Watermelon salad. This was one of the best calamaris I ever had. The breading was just right and flavorful. The watermelon was a nice surprise too, as a contrast to the crispy texture of the squid. This salad was delicious and refreshing9786127817128025

For our main dish, I ordered the Sauteed Chicken and Mushroom A la creme. This dish was served with potatoe puree. Everything about this dish was so yummy and heavenly128525 The chicken was well-prepared and cooked just right. The sauce was rich and savory. I love the cream and mushrooms, I can just eat them the whole day128514

Meanwhile, Natz ordered the Teriyaki Glazed Grilled Chicken. This dish was served with Japanese rice. I love the rice; the nori was very tasty. The teriyaki sauce was delightful and the chicken was yummy too! However,it was grilled too much so the skin had a burnt taste128550

Overall, I really liked this place. It's a bit pricey, about P600+ per person, for the three course meal shared by two people. We didn't order dessert because we were so full. We'll definitely come back to try them9786

Okay, here's my take on Tito Chef. My family decided to eat somewhere different tonight since my sister came back home from Australia. We decided to check BF area and dine in at Tito Chef.

The place and ambience was very well lighted and design was just right, not too simple not to elegant. It wasn't intimidating, that's for sure.

So here's the list of dishes that we ordered and please let me review each one of them. This is for the fact that overall, it didn't meet my or our expectations.

1. Pan Seared Foie Gras with Seared Apple Tart & Arugula - the apple tart was really good but the foie gras was overcooked, it had the wrong cut, and the serving was too small compared to what they have featured in their menu.

2. Crispy Squid and Watermelon - the sauce and vegetables were good but the crispy squid was too oily, I think they didn't rest the squid that long after cooking.

3. Grilled Prawns Risotto - the prawns wasn't fresh cause you can smell it even if you're across the other side of the table. The risotto wasn't seasoned very well, it was too bland.

4. Roasted Beef Fillet with Potato Gratin and Buerre Rouge - we ordered for a medium well steak, but then they served a well done steak. We wanted to be understanding to just eat it, but they went wrong already with the foie gras. So we had it replaced, but unfortunately when they served it back, it was a medium rare steak. We asked them again to re-cook it, but they served a medium steak and the steak was unevenly cooked. We ate it anyway after 3 tries and it was not superb.

5. Open Faced Cordon Bleu - didn't try it but it looks okay.

6. Spanish Chorizo and Mushroom Penne - this was too oily and the only tasty ingredient here is the chorizo. A dash of salt or pepper should've been okay but I just hope they tasted it first before serving.

7. Nutella Sansrival - for dessert, I got really curious about this one but personally, I think the taste of Nutella and Sansrival is not a good mix. It overpowers each other that it's hard to call in Sansrival or Nutella.

8. Dulce de leche cheesecake - now, this is the "pambawi" of them all. This is what I am recommending, the consistency and taste of this cake is really good.

Again, overall the food wasn't great, not to mention the price that we paid for it. But the service is highly commendable, the plating and presentation is good, and the ambience is just right. But at the end of the day, aside from the service and ambience, it's the food that should be the reason why people should come back. Sorry but might not visit this one anytime soon.
