Owner of Tito Chef is a friend of mine. 128516 He's my idol. He's one of our valued alumni in my choir. He's very sweet because when I visited this place with my family to celebrate my birthday, he was there and gave us a complimentary bottle of white wine! 128516

Food was great! I particularly liked their Cannelloni and the Cedar Grilled Salmon! 128522 Can't wait to come back! 128516

Was Ok rating given to the wonderful soft scrambled eggs. It was served just how I liked it. Food selection was ok for the price although I'm not sure if for that price I should look for some cheese too. Anyway, serve staff were kind too although they don't take out plates swiftly.

It was supposed to be a Charlie's burger kind of day but starving while crawling along Libis will make one pull over to the nearest resto hoping it serves burgers. This one was decent enough. Being a Nutella junkie, I wish the Nutella sans rival tasted more like the spread rather than tasting like peanut butter.

We stayed in Microtel Libis and we were looking forward to breakfast at Tito Chef... I've tried their Paranaque branch a while back and I enjoyed their food, so we were hopeful for a great breakfast buffet spread...

We went down at about 7am, excited for breakfast... But, wait... It was not breakfast that was served... It was lunch na! May checking of the watch pa na naganap... Nyark!

They had scrambled eggs, sinangag, toast and cereals... But these were served with afritada, menudo, lengua, veggies and a fish viand... Super letdown for brunch peeps! The food was good, just not what we expected128561

We ordered tomato fondue soup, Water buffalo cheese salad, Rosemary grilled lamb shoulder steak, grilled swordfish cous cous. The love how the salad was simple but unique, no fancy dressing because the white cheese was coated that made it a little crunchy and interesting already. The swordfish was vooked well and the beet sauce surrounding the plate complemented it. The couscous was great! It was a little spicy and grainy which makes it unique from other couscous i've tasted. The lamb was good too. :)
Perfect place to dine when stuck in C5 traffic. :) interior was mostly white and sleek. :)

Spinach and Raclette Souffle (P230). Airy soufflé with of Raclette cheese. It's a bit bland though but presentation wise, very eye catching. The Truffled Mushroom Purée (P150). Mushroom soup at its finest. Will surely order this again.

I had the pan fried sole while other in our table had the surf and turf, the BBQ spareribs, the Asian fried chicken and the carbonara..

I tried the BBQ before and it was great. I also previously tried grilled salmon and that was really good. I had a bite of the steak in the surf and turf and it was tender and quite flavorful. The Asian fried chicken was ok but the rice that went with it saved the dish. The carbonara was passable only.

The pan fried sole would merit only three stars though. It is deep fried and placed on a sea of butter. It therefore became quite oily. I needed two slices if lemon to cut across the oiliness. The fish itself was fresh and cooked well. The plating though kinda messed it up.

Overall it still merits 4 stars.

tried the osso buco & the paella & both did not disappoint. in fact, they were great. the osso buco (Italian shank) was fork tender and has a rich deep flavor. the paella was cooked to perfection and was generously flavored with saffron, just the way i like it. pricing is just right and service is attentive. the cakes are yummy too.

In the lobby of the recently opened Microtel on C5 across from Eastwood City, they have nice tables but use plastic chairs? It's like they're trying to look fancy but then they're not. Identity crisis?

I ordered their Cedar-Grilled Salmon. It's a fresh salmon fillet smoke-grilled over Cedar wood and served with a fresh petit salad and caviar-topped mashed potatoes.

Cedar plank grilling allows the salmon to be infused with with a lush, smoky, aromatic flavor.

Infusion success! The salmon not only had a nice smoky flavor, but it was flaky and moist.

My only complaint was the portion size. It was small! It was like a mini filet. I wanted to eat more! I think the fillet should at least be around 10-12oz but it was more like a 6oz.

So it tasted great but I felt a bit small. Maybe adjust the price (P450) a tad to accommodate a larger portion size?

Their food could easily pass for a fine dining cuisine. Very inexpensive for its taste.

I got the pasta(I forgot what it's called but it's the first pasta on the menu) and I was not disappointed with my order! 128525 Really creamy and they were very generous with the filling. I also enjoyed the grilled lamb chops. Very delicious!! 128077 We requested for a lamb chop that had less bone and more meat and they complied! Our chop was very juicy and well made. They had so much pastries that I wanted to try everything but I have to ease up on the sugar... so I got the dolce de leche cheesecake instead.

The place looks very elegant and the music playing was calming. They had very good plating for their dishes and the place wasn't crowded. The servers were very welcoming and gladly took our orders. They were also very patient and responded quickly to our requests.

Just one problem though, it doesn't concern Tito Chef but it does concern Microtel. They have the most annoying guard ever.... We were so pissed. First, he told us that we could park on a parking spot that clearly doesn't fit the car. Second, he told us to move forward and guess what... Boom, our wheel got stuck on the ditch. He didn't even bother warning us about the uneven pavement. He just told us to go forward and didn't check if our path ahead was clear. And to think our car is lowered. Ugh. He didn't even say sorry. okay...ranting time is over!!! Haha. After eating at Tito Chef our spirits lifted up a bit though. 128076
