Milo dinosaur rocks! The kaya toast was so-so. The bread they used seems old.

Kaya Toast with Kopi has been and always will be my fave here at Toast Box. The price (I think) has only increased a bit (P115 now) from the original price of P105 when they started more than 5 years ago.

Ambiance is great! Love the way they talk to their crewmates when they get the order. Customer service (any branch) is a bit cold, though (hehe), perhaps typical of Singaporean restos.

Singaporean fix for lunch. I got Nonya Laksa as it closely resembles the authentic Laksa I had in Singapore. Generous serving for one, topped with enough prawns, egg, tofu, and squid balls. Noodles were cooked to perfection making every sip a very enjoyable one. Laksa paste was blended with the right amount of spices. A little bit more of the Singaporean chili paste and this would have tasted really good.

I also got their cold "Teh" or tea with condensed milk. Nothing really special about this drink. I just love to top off my main course with this drink.

I believe Nonya Laksa is an acquired taste as some people doesn't like the spices that comes with it. It takes a while before you'd really like this dish.

after all toastbox has bounced back after their trinoma fail...
ordered the same tuna clubhouse and milk tea

wow... egg salad filling was thick and not loose...
they used fresh lettuce... cause it still emits qater while you bite...
tuna spread was delightful. with a kick of saltiness
bread was without doubt new... still taste the baked dough air inside the bread.
cool surroundings...:)

This is the place to go if you want to get coffee with a Singaporean kick. Be mindful however if you have high blood sugar because the condensed milk could make your sugar level rise further. Pair it off with Kaya Toast and soft boiled eggs and you get the perfect combination whether for breakfast or snacks. Other must tries are the Milo Dinosaur, Horlicks and the luncheon meat noodles ( just a bit biased with spam).

I was planning to just buy their kaya spread but hubby and I decided to dine in too.

I like the ambiance of the place - quiet and relaxing (probably because it was a weekday) I also like their clean, shabby, rustic chic interior. I like watching the people who pass by so I always prefer to sit near the window.

On to the food-We ordered kaya toast, peanut butter toast, milo dinosaur and Horlicks milk.

The peanut butter toast was too sweet for me, so I still prefer the kaya toast. I'd recommend to order the set because its best eaten with soft boiled egg and tea. Milo dinosaur reminded me of childhood 128522. Cold milo topped with (what else) Milo powder. Lol. Last is the Horlicks drink. I was actually curious about this Horlicks malted milk so I gave it a try. I read somewhere that bakers use Horlicks as their secret ingredient in making their cookies taste better. Anyway, it tasted like Nesvita but without cereal. It was too sweet for me too... Nothing special but maybe I'll try the cold version next time.

It'll be more practical for me to buy the kaya spread instead of dining here everytime I crave for a kaya toast so I stock up on a bottle at home. 128513 Hmm, I wonder what butter they use..anyone here knows? 128518

First stop when I enter a restaurant i check the restroom.
Feb11,2015: still under maintenance.

So I talked to the newly assigned male manager while I'm waiting for a take- away Teh Tarik, watching closely how he prepares the tea he mentioned maintenance would come on Friday. Let's see :) I'll be back.

It's a great chain of s'pean food but this solenad branch needs to be evaluated.
• restroom always out of order
• crew sitting at customers chairs during break
• rice was served reheated , not steamed
• the chicken in my curry was old and gamy
• Teh tarik was absolutely pale
What happened toast box solenad?
I'll visit again tomorrow for a meeting... I'll see if this has improved.

Went to Nuvali last Saturday with my family to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. 128145

We arrived at Nuvali past lunch so we decided to have lunch first before we check in at our hotel. There were a lot of restaurants in Nuvali and we choose Toast Box located at Solenad 2 because we haven't tried it yet and it's not crowded.

The place was really nice , I like the ambiance very relaxing and I love the seat couch too. It's really nice to have lunch with a place like this.

My daughter ordered the blueberry cream cheese toast set for only 150 pesos includes: 2 eggs, kopi or teh,add 15 for cold. Then my son had the Milo Toast box because he is a Milo Boy. For 160 pesos he got 2 eggs, kopi or teh, add 15 for cold. But because they were kids we pay additional fee to make their drinks lemonade because they don't want to drink tea or coffee.

Hubby and I both got the Nasi Goreng meal around 250 pesos with drinks. The Nasi Goreng version here is with egg, dilis , bagoong, brown rice and has chicken slice at the bottom. Then hubby and I had the brewed teh cold and it was an awesome drink. Ohh I miss Malaysian food. Brings back the good memories at Malaysia.

They also have wifi here. Toast box set and their cold teh is a must try here 128077127860

I love this breakfast restaurant since they offer Kaya Toast (this can be addictive) and Horlicks! Yes, Horlicks still exist! 127838127860 Dining here reminds me of my stay in Singapore. Its nice to see that they are still practicing the art of tarik.

Their Hananese Chicken is very moist and spot on. Its even good for two people. The ginger sauce that comes with your order is perfect to complement the chicken dish.

The fresh air of Nuvali and the hearty breakfast from Toast Box brings a perfect combination to a stress-free weekend! 128077 Its nice to try again Singaporean dish at its best.

PS: Life is good especially when youre drooling over their tower of butter! 128525

Larry the Barista and I enjoyed the place, and the wifi, to ourselves until a few minutes before we left. First time for me to try their Yuan Yang which they described to be coffee and tea together. I loved it! 128156128154128153 I thought it tasted more tea than coffee which is good since I'm trying to cut down on my coffee intake. My taste buds didn't know I actually had coffee today (shhhhh!)
