It has been a gloomy day again for me at work and I was trying to find that groove to get me going, so I went out and wander around the area. I have no intent of having some coffee but I ended up going back to my favorite, and that’s Toby’s Estate coffee!

I got my usual Café Latte but they ran out of my favorite Salcedo-blend. My heart died instantly when the barista told me that they’re not serving coffee with this blend anymore, and instead introduced me to their new blend - the Costa Rica Providencia. But that day is just a string of bad luck for me as the barista told me that it wasn’t available that time, and they only had the special house-blend. Sakit sa puso! 128148

I was left with a wounded heart but I still went for it and was actually happy that i did. It still has that strong coffee taste that I love with Toby’s but even more. It’s also much richer and fuller. Although it’s not as smooth as the Salcedo blend, I still love it because it gave me a boost and almost a punch in my senses!

I also had a piece of their peanut butter cookies and man, I just loved it so much! It’s chewy and it’s moist - two things I really love about cookie! I also like it that it has the right amount of nuts in it.

Now that the Salcedo-blend had bid its farewell especially to my heart, I’m finally ready to welcome Toby’s newest blend - the Costa Rica Providencia, really soon!!!

Had the white cold brew each and shared a Pistachio cheesecake after having lunch. I usually just get their Buckys or their Apple Pie, but I loooved their Pistachio Cheesecake! Their white cold brew is not overly sweet, which is why I liked it as well. 128522

I just wish they would move to a bigger place. But nevertheless, still my favorite coffee place in Eastwood.

Ever since I saw Toby's Estate, I've been wanting to try it but no chance to do so because I wasn't sure if there were branches of this coffee shop in the North.

Place is small so it's really perfect for those people who are always on the go. I love its interiors - minimalist and relaxing. Staffs knows their menu very well so if you are new to Toby's, you can ask them for some recommendations.

One of the staffs recommended to me their Flat White (150php). It's just your typical flat white coffee. Nothing special about it. I would have to try their other coffees in the menu though.

Always happy to get my caffeine fix at Toby's Estate. 9749

Today I ordered a latte instead of a flat white because it was already late in the afternoon. It was also pretty good. 128077🏽 I hope a branch opens near the office huhu.

After our sumptuous dinner at Marita, a few of us decided to cap the night with a cup of coffee here at Toby's! I haven't been to Toby's that moment so I was excited to try it because of really good reviews about their coffee.

I went for the Salcedo-blend Latte and really liked it! The Salcedo blend has just been launched during our visit and I'm glad that I was able to try on its first markers! I really like the strong yet creaminess of their coffee. It's also not as sweet as Starbucks' coffee which makes it good because I quite like stronger coffee!

Will definitely go back here for my quick coffee fix whenever I'm around the area!

Toby's is definitely one of the best coffee shop that have come in Manila. One of my fave is their Chai Latte and Flat white. For this visit I got the Chai Latte which was a perfect partner for a rainy kind of night. Also heard of the salcedo blend that they have recently launch. Definitely will try that with my Flat White next time. 128512

Kiko G, Russel F, Dennis O and I went to Toby's Estate Coffee Roaster in Eastwood to have coffee after our dinner in Marikina.

For me, Toby's Estate is one the best coffee store in the Philippines. Serving good coffee. And it's consistent when it comes to flavor.

All of us tried the new Toby's Estate Coffee Roaster's Salcedo Blend. Most of us got a flat white coffee.

"It has mild taste compare to the original flavor. It's good but I prefer the Non-Salcedo Blend."

Thank you Kiko G for the coffee.

Tried their other baked goods.

Chunky Blonde (Php100) dark chocolate on top and oatmeal mixed at the bottom. It was good but couldn't finish in one sitting 128556

It was like a food crawl experience last night. I met up with my friends at Toby's Estate, making it our first stop.

Ordered Cappuccino (small-Php130) the coffee was good. Strong yet brewed perfectly. Then Bucky's Original bar (Php80) you can taste chocolate bits. Yum! 128523 This is now one of my fave coffee shops.

There's nothing like a good cup of long black paired with an awesome chocolate cake. Their Bruce Bogtrotter (cleverly named after the cake-eater boy from Matilda) is one of the top 10 chocolate cakes in Manila, and rightfully so. Try it, worth every calorie! 128077🏻

After an unsuccessful dinner at Cafe Enye, my family and I transferred to Toby's Estate for coffee and dessert.

It was their first time at my favorite coffee shop. On the other hand, I was recognized by the staff as part of the noisy group that came into their store and stayed til closing (sorry maingay ang #teamclingy). I wanted them to try the calamansi pie and the pistachio cheesecake, as well as the coffee. My brother tried the flat white, dad had the hot chocolate, and my mom had the tea. They all liked their respective orders. As for the cake, the pistachio cheesecake was better received as expected. Both were good, but the cheesecake is a better bet in general. You must love all things tangy to love the calamansi pie. But we were all pretty happy with our orders and everything was pleasant during our visit...

I haven't been to Eastwood for some time and I was happy to find a Toby's Estate branch where the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery used to be. Our plans to stay at a different coffee shop flew out the window. We literally invaded the small store and set up camp in front of the cashier.

The others enjoyed the calamansi pie (huhuhu) and a cookie. They also shared a slice of the Bruce Bogtrotter. Trivia time: this cake was named after a character from Matilda-- the kid who was punished by Miss Trunchbull to eat an entire chocolate cake until he got sick... Cute reference, especially since one order is actually an enormous cake slice...

I enjoyed my coffee while everyone was involved in a spirited conversation... All our orders were familiar and just the way we liked them. The place was a bit cramped and cold, with most of the tables set up outside. What stood out was the warmth and patience of the staff despite our loud jokes and boisterous laughter... We stayed past midnight and they were so gracious to let us hangout til the wee hours.

That is great service for you...
