At last! Chachi L and I were able to visit Toby's Estate. We've been planning this out for months now and it has been on our 'Restos To Visit' List. She ordered an Iced Flat White while I ordered an Iced Latte.

The Iced Latte had a slightly smooth bitter taste and tasted better for me when i added brown sugar (around 1.5 teaspoon). It was also a bit frothy.

Took a bit of some time before my coffee was served as it was prepared on the spot. The brown sugar was placed on the tables. We asked for a teaspoon and a stirrer which was wrapped individually (the stirrer i mean), making it very hygienic. Even the straws were individually wrapped.

We visited around past 10 in the morning on a Monday and there were only us and another guest. Very quiet and peaceful when we visited. Also, a soft music was being played at the background for the cafe's ambiance.

Hope we can try the pasta next!

I went back for my flat white, still got the best flat white ever. Yup, my current favorite coffee shop.

I will always love Toby's Estate! For me they serve the best coffee in Manila!

I should also come back for their mushroom pasta which my brother ordered but wasn't able to take a picture because my brother was very hungry already. Haha.

Ooohhh! I almost forgot we also have their chocolate cake named Bruce something sorry I also don't have any picture as I was very busy playing pokemon go! 128514128514 one of the best chocolate cake I've tried! Very moist not too sweet. Perfect!

Oh, Toby's Estate Coffee is good pala. Plus the ambience is really nice. I had their flat white, and enjoyed it. For someone who enjoyed a hot mocha in Starbucks, that's saying a lot. I'd be back in here for sure!

There's nothing not to love about Toby's though yes pastas and sandwiches can be pricey but the quality of their coffee and meals are superb! I personally love their Flat White whether hot or iced and it taste similar to every Toby's Estate branches both here and abroad. Carefully crafted to suite your liking; not too creamy nor foamy, and with tangy bitterness after every sip. Pistachio cheesecake is another staple here with that small chopped pistachio in that cream cheese base which you almost won't taste as it's filled with pistachio as well. The crust is thin but tasty. And of course, always a must to grab are their buckys. They're not brownies but buckys. Asked them to warm it for you to get that moist, chocolatey with a little saltiness flavor. Really great! The ambiance of the place is one of my favorites too as well as the attentiveness of the staff. Regular hangout place of mine.

Calamansi pie and coffee is the perfect combination for me! Perfect ambiance to have coffee conversations. I also love their pasta and salad. But they should improve on their service, the place was not full but we had to follow-up on our orders and keep on asking for drinking water. I didn't like their brownies its too dense for my taste. Will come back since I liked most of what I ordered for the 2X we went there.

What I liked about this cheesecake, is that its made of pistachio my favorite nut and it was not overly sweet. This was for dessert. I had my Patty melt, like a burger with cheese sandwich which I enjoyed much too, hefty and tummy filling.

Toby's Estate will always have a very special space in my heart. I love their Flat White, their restaurant/kiosk interiors, their food... AAAH everything.

I knew a long time ago that Toby's serves good food but didn't have the chance to try. My main goal before was to try all their coffee and be able to compare and find myself my favorite cup - I already have it named so it's time for me to explore the food selection.

It has come to my attention that Salcedo branch is offering more mains than the one in Legazpi. Well it was almost lunchtime so I decided to have brunch, I ordered the Grilled Cheese (P320) paired with my favorite Flat White (P150) and my life became so heavenly 128525

The grilled cheese served with potato chips and spicy tomato compote was already a heaven on its own. The potato chips were very yummy, I got too overwhelmed I ate 1 chip to another to another until I finished it!!!! Ah soo good. I'm also a big fan of cheese so when ai had my first bite, the taste of the melted cheese inside my mouth made my tastebuds party for joy!!!!!! It was just so goood! Pairing it with Flat White made me love it more, it made me feel as if it was the BEST DECISION EVERRRR!!!!

It is a bit pricey? Yes. But it is definitely worth it because of the satisfaction that you will get 10084

Another problem we encountered yesterday for my mom's birthday was finding a birthday cake. Did some google and thankful I found an article of places open for holyweek. 1st option was wildflour but the place was jampacked and wholecake were no longer available. So we went for the 2nd option Tobys Estate. I've been to Toby's estate for quite a few times already but I've never tasted their cakes. I just always go for their flat white.

Happy that there was still an available whole cake. My brother choosed the chocolate cake. My sister also bought some cute birthday candles somewhere which added some extra design to the plain cake.

My mom love the cake! Frazzled Cook also didn't mind we brought a cake. They didn't charge us for corkage fee128077. The chocolate cake was so good! The cake was so rich and moist. The sweetness level was just right for me but my mom felt it was a lttle too sweet. Maybe it depends on the person. We weren't able to finish the whole cake so we got some takeout for some midnight snacks!128522

Overall Tobys Estate never fail me. They serve good coffee and this time good cake. Next time got to try some of their dishes.

It's been awhile since our last lunch date 128517 Mostly coz everyone's been busy and of course the lunch time heat has really been brutal.

Our schedules seemed to be in sync yesterday, We were finally able to meet for lunch, tired of our usual haunts, Carla M suggested Toby's, I readily said yes since I loved the flat white here! Yina M was also G!

Funny that we all ordered the same thing 128514 Mushroom Pasta @320 (kinda pricey IMO) It was quite a plateful of al dente linguine, sauteed mushrooms with garlic, parsley and herbs in olive oil. Tasted kinda bland, it could've used some truffle flavor...Carla's pasta was too oily, mine had too much noodle and it could have used a little more shrooms, Yina's lacked them garlic slices.

I also ordered a glass of iced flat white, now this was really good! I think they serve one of the best flat whites in the metro 128076🏼 Yins also got a chocolate cake which was good, really moist and yummy, too bad we were all stuffed and didn't get to finish it 128513

The A/C was nice and cold, service was ok too, I liked the place, it was spacious, cozy & brightly lit. Even if the food wasn't all that good, the company was great and we had a nice time catching up...128123

Skipped our usual weekday lunches the past weeks because of workload, plus it was too hot to walk outside at noon. But luckily, found time to catch up with Julie J and Yina M today before the long break. 128513

Julie arrived ahead of me. I asked what she ordered and she said Mushroom Pasta. It sounded good so I copied her order. 128517 Yina arrived shortly and got the same thing. Pasta serving was pretty generous, it wasn't bad for P320 I think. Although we noticed inconsistencies- mine was swimming in oil (or butter??) while Julie's pasta wasn't, Yina's pasta had no garlic so she had to get from my plate, mine didn't have parsley on top, and Julie's order seemed to have more noodles than ours. It tasted good but like what Yina said, it lacked something. Hmm, truffle?

Yina also ordered a slice of chocolate cake. I just had a forkful since I can't have too much chocolate (damn this acidity sh*t huhu). 128529 It was so rich and moist! Yummm but best to share the calories with friends. 128077🏼

It was a quick lunch but nevertheless fun and chika-filled! Thank you, ladies!!!

Man, it took me a walk to get here and under the blistering sun! It is indeed summer!

My lunch buds Julie J. and Carla M. were already there. Looking at their pasta, the mushroom linguini, made my mouth water as I was huuuungrrrryyy!!!! Good thing there was no line but the place was full. I placed my order along with a large iced long black coffee. I also ordered a slice of the salted caramel chocolate cake to share with Carly and Jules.

Since the two were still taking photos of their pasta, I noticed that Carla's had less parsley on it and more sauce. It did have one thing in common, the serving was full. So a lot of catching up happened while they were eating and while I was waiting for my food. The coffee came ahead so I put a dollop of brown sugar. I liked that it was strong without giving me a headache.

The pasta arrived shortly. I liked that it was al dente but it was a bit cheesy for my taste. It was good but i felt lacked oomph. That oomph was to be described by Carla as truffle. hahaha sounds about right.

The cake was rich!!! So it was a good thing I shared it and we still didn't finish it. It was delicious but next time I'll stick to a bucky.

My bill amounted to P795 I think. Quite pricey but OK naman. The place is a bit of a walk from my area but it should be fine if I was going solo for the weekend. Interiors are bright but for the pro photogs beside me, they disliked the lighting. :)

Hot weather and seriously craving for sweet. My go to place ever since it opened doors near our office. I should probably get a loyalty card soon. Haha. Iced flat white is my favorite but lately I'm enjoying the taste of their long black in hot or iced with a little milk a 2 tsp of brown sugar. Their long black is their version of americano or brewed coffee. And of course, buckies. They're not brownies but buckies. Nothing beats the original with its moist, sweet, and salty taste. Just great!! Definitely a must to hangout around Legaspi side.

Finally a branch near the office! The place looks nice & cozy, too bad I was in a hurry and had to have my coffee to go 128542 Their Flat White is still the best in the metro IMO 9749️ This obsessive coffee drinker (OCD) will definitely be back for more 128541

Everybody deserves a second chance.
This time instead of visit near its closing, let's visit during its opening. It's a good thing that they open 7am and it's very easy to go here on sundays.

Greetings everyone valentines day!
There. Featuring the toby's estate black cup.. Yes they now use black plus a special background of dating people. #agedoesnotmatter

Their menu is all written on the board so you will really have to to the counter and state your order. Parang fast food.

Anyway. I had their white flat. The best white flat is here at toby's.
I had grilled cheese sandwhich which was soo good. It has a thick layer of mozzarella cheese. Salty in a good way. The baby potatoes were made into potato chips that's also served in the sides. Well, it's salty also but then even outs because its kinda bitter. I like the tomato compote that goes with the sandwhich. Plus the bread was so warm and a bit crunchy.

Well. Mahal talaga. Like as kathryna said. Like the range is upto 400++ a meal. Coffee and desserts IMO is already enough to have a good experience here.

Enjoyed my Bucky ala Mode! It's a bit overpriced if you ask me. I don't think that the additional charge for the ice cream was worth it considering the quality. It wasn't even gelato.

Got large iced mocha. Pwede na, a bit too sweet for my liking.

Their food is SO EXPENSIVE. I was surprised to see that they also serve champagne??? Lol #pangmayaman

Again, I guess the prices are reasonable for some but it's not really for people who are looking for their everyday go to coffee shop.

I think I will still go to Toby's to splurge once in a while.

The new Toby's Estate in Makati recently opened and I got to say that I was expecting more from its interior. It's simple. Different from the white bricks usual interior it has. But, nevertheless, it still serves the great coffee it promises. 128522 Their flat white is still my favorite cup, and they have a lot of buckies' offering. The original buckies is still a must with a mixture of sweet and saltiness, which is perfect for a cup of bitter coffee. 128525The staffs are accommodating too, and it has the chill vibes for an early morning grab, catch up with friends or just a time for yourself. I just love the fact that they're in Legaspi now. I mean the location is perfect as it's near work, and near Legazpi park where I go for a run. 128079🏻
