Had a bit of nightcap here before it closed... Actually, a nightcap and more hehehe128522128522128522

It was the end of the day ....but I had something like I was just starting it...100841008410084

First, I craved for eggs, so I got the Traviata Skillet, eggs delight with my favorite cheery tomatoes and arugula with basil
oil...enjoyed it even more heartily with their rustic garlic bread 100841008410084️ yumyumyum 128525128525128525

Then I was also in the mood for cheese..... so I also tried their Grilled Four Cheese Ciabatta, also a winner for me ....especially with the spicy compote & potato chips 12852210084128077🏻

Got me their coffee to try out and chug down the foodies as well.... and of course saved some space enough to enjoy a cute cup of Carmen's Best Salted Caramel Ice Cream 12852210084128077🏻127881 super yum127775127775127775127775127775

WHY IS EVERYTHING IN TOBY'S ESTATE SO DELICIOUS?!?

Seriously, each visit, no matter which branch, never disappoints. From the coffee selection, to non-coffee drinks, snacks and sandwiches - everything I've tried so far is OMG sarap! Toby's Estate is officially my FAVORITE coffee place. Period.

Today, I was forced to roam the streets of Makati very early (aside from my usual hatid sa school routine) to cover a meeting which came in very timely with hubby's work related schedule around Leviste. I chose Toby's Estate as my meeting plus work place. Both very sleepy and a bit hungry, we decided to have breakfast first.

This branch is huge and soooo nice! White tiles textured with wood installations, round tables, low drop lamps, cushioned chairs, big terrariums as table centerpiece, very cozy!

Since I'm so in love with Toby's Chai Chocolate, I got a hot cup for me and hubby, being the not so coffee fanatic, just got a Babycinno. My Chai Chocolate was perfect! Very chocolaty, sweet with a good kick of chai. It was soothing and calming!

We shared two sandwiches -

| Grilled Cheese for 295Php - my pick. This was seriously good! A nice blend of cheeses - cheddar, gruyere and parmesan, in a soft and a little crisp ciabatta. This was served with homemade potato chips, that covered the entire sandwich, and a tomato compote on the side. Loved the gooey cheese! My sweet tooth though craved for some spiced honey, but that's just my preference.

| Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel for 295Php - hubby's choice. This one was insanely good! Melt in your mouth smoked salmon slices on top of a good heaping of cream cheese, topped with pickled onions and capers in a soft black sesame bagel. Everything went well together.

Delicious and filling breakfast! Service was great too. They were always ready to refill our glasses with water.

I love you Toby's Estate 128525128525

Loved the ambiance of this place, and very accommodating service. Best place for catching up with friends, best place to unwind, and for coffee dates as well. Surely ill be back for more of their coffees and pastries.

Oh Toby's has such great ambience that we find ourselves coming back for a late night, after-dinner snacks.

Mark O and I had their risotto balls and pecan pie. The latter was superb!!! 128523128523128523

Loved their calamansi pie! Buuuuuut i can't finish it by myself. I sincerely recommend this dish but make sure you have a friend to share it with. It was actually naka-uumay after a while.

That's a big statement by the way coming from someone who doesn't always have a sweet tooth. :)

Had a terrible cold, so we decided to have dinner n coffee/dessert at 1 place and that might not been a good idea since the mains here are expensive and servings are small but coffees and pastries are still the best.

Braise beef with 3 cubes at 500 was some sort of an receiving end of a short string that would make you feel not your moneys worth, should have go with their sandwiches instead.

Vongole and chorizo pasta were not bad though.

Coffees and cakes though were great. All in all we were surprised at how much we spent that night as compare having it elsewhere.

So after our dinner, we proceed here. I was really full so we share the calamnsi cake but i feel that half of it was abit bitin for me... hmmm.. the calamansi cake has this whipped cream on top that after i finished reviewing the mendokoro it had already melted so i suggest start chowing on it before it fizzles like bubble.

As for coffee we order ice mocha single shot since it comes with a double shot expresso and ice white latte. The ice mocha that i had was just so so as compare to their hot version since theres much more watet on it as compare to pure milk.

This branch was a favorite of mine since its not so packed and allows you to have a wide area to sit down and have some small coffee talk. According to our server they are open till 12mn. Customer service was great. 128522

I think its only this branch that has this dine in area as the one at century and others are only for takeaway. I think i will had my dinner here in the future as to try out their bestsellers like chicken and biscuits as well as pasta like vongole.

Its just weird that they are using flade to clean their table. Im not sure if its healthy for the servers everyday to do that but it is what it is. Hmm... i run out of anything to say.to reach 1000 characters. Haha. Apologies but ill definitely come back.again here.

After a long vacation, Went straight to Toby's Estate and it totally summed up my day.

It was raining hard on my way back from Pampanga, and I needed something warm so bad, I decided to rush to Makati and order Hot Chocolate from Toby's and it was pure heaven. Pretty smooth and has this "Home-y" feel to it.

Since I like things sweet I add 2 teaspoons of sugar.

Best place to get Hot Chocolate 9749

I was supposed to drop off my fellow sup in Makati before heading back to Carmona when I suddenly felt a lil sleepy. I asked him if we could stay at Toby's estate for a while and he gladly nodded.

We both ordered a hot cup of flat white and bucky's ala mode. The flat white didn't taste strong enough but I appreciate the creaminess and it kept me awake for a couple of hours. The bucky's ala mode was just okay. It's prolly because I was already satiated from all the food I've been eating since 7am. I guess I have to go back for a second try.

We stayed for two hours and talked about the good old days. He was also my supervisor before I got promoted so it was fun reminiscing the past. We left after they started switching off their lights.

I order either flat white or mocha here at toby's. I thought the 10pm coffee would not take any effect on me. Feeling super tired also, I was already yawning on my way back home. However my mind was wide. I got to bed -am and i was surprised i woke up 2am!! I was not able to sleep until the 5am alarm sounded off. Wow. That's how effective coffee at 10 pm is.

Toby's closes until 12am on weekdays. Not so much customers on a Monday night. 128516

headed here after pigging out at the nearby resto, for tea and some chit chats and i must say i am impressed with the interiors and the staffs were accomodating. we were here late afternoon and i so love it (yeah, i love uncrowded and uncongested places.. we all do, right? but it becomes crowded as the time passed by). hmmm, so we had tea, and coffee and that chocolate cake 128077🏻

Recently found myself in Makati again for a meet-up. I was with my girlfriend and we were an hour and a half early for our meeting and so we decided to stop by a restaurant in the area for a quick snack. We were craving for a salad at that time. Since I was a man of habit, I wanted to go somewhere we’ve tried before. So, we found ourselves here again.

We ordered a roasted vegetable salad. It was a simple salad: mixed vegetables accompanied with a very light dressing. The salad had a light balsamic lemon dressing on assorted vegetables with arugula. I have had bad experiences with roasted vegetables before, tried it somewhere in the south and didn’t like the dish that much. I was willing to give roasted vegetables another shot though and thus agreed to order this over the other two salad options: the smoked salmon and greens and the house arugula salad.

Surprisingly, I liked the salad very much. I am sure that the low expectations helped a bit but I found each component of the salad very flavorful. I especially singled out the carrots which were very good and moist. It was the ingredient in the salad which surpassed my expectations the most.

Price: 260 Php. Slightly above the upper control limit of what I’d consider a reasonable price for this dish. I knew part of what I was paying for were my surroundings. So I charged my laptop while eating just to increase the value for money component even by just a bit.

That’s it for now. Take care everyone!
