Love their iced coffee!!! The iced latte is just wow! I have no words haha! Seriously though, I'm a fan of iced coffee and this one definitely does it for me. 10084️ I've paired it with Mary Grace's grilled ensaymada (seen in the background) and it's a perfect combo 128513 for me anyway 128541

I'm excited for their branch in Eastwood to open! 128588🏼

Went here after dinner at Ramen Nagi for a cup. Tried their Chai Chocolate (Hot) because it's rainy and I don't want a cup of coffee this late.

I'm a fan of Chai but this one wasn't much a good combo because the chocolate overpowered the chai. I honestly couldn't taste the chai anymore. It was a good chocolate though. And props to the barista for the beautiful art on top.

Took a sip of Marjorie G 's flat white and it was a little strong for me. Would like to try their other non-coffee offerings next time.

Would love to try their decaf coffee. But they do not serve any. The knowledgeable crew offered an alternative "arabica" which has less caffeine. For breastfeeding mom like me, I prefer decaf coffee.

Volunteered for a company event last night at SM Aura and we decided to grab some coffee before the event started. My friend got an iced coffee and I ordered a Hot Chai Latte. 9749

It wasn't as dahon-y as I expected it to be but I liked it. My friend also liked her coffee saying that she will leave Starbucks for Toby's. Lol. The place is located in the middle of the mall so you won't get your "me time" or "beh dun tayo sa tahimik at tago magusap" here. 128143

While waiting for my order I was staring at the food on the display and I was really attracted to the Bucky's N' Cream. Next time, next time.

My to go for my usual flat white and original bucky when I'm having one of those days. But I was with a client when she forced me to try the Gibraltar. It was sooooo good but it kept me awake until 3am! Now, I order this one when I need to stay awake until the wee hours.

Came back for more.
We were originally at Uptown Mall, but due to Khaimah Fe B's cravings, we parked again at SM Aura. It's that good. :)

Oh, and we finally know what Bucky's is. Bucky's = flourless chocolate cake x fudge brownie. No wonder why it tastes so good.

Toby Estate has the best Café Mocha in town. It’s rich and bold and has that dark chocolate bitterness in it that I just love. We went to Power Mac the other day and we passed by Toby estate. I let hubby do his thing in Power Mac and decided to wait for him with the kids in Toby Estate instead LOL

I wanted to get a Mocha but being with the two kids, I decided against it. I got them their favorite Calamansi Pie and an order of Iced Chai Chocolate. The cashier was really pleasant to talk to and he was even talking and joking around with the kids. He got our orders and we got ourselves seated. Our table was just in front of the counter. Since I was busy playing with the kids, I didn’t notice the time. Minutes after minutes, we didn’t get our orders. I was being patient but after a good 20minutes, I went to the counter to ask.

Gawd, a slice of pie and an iced drink for 20 mins? You must be kidding me. I asked politely and gave my receipt and pointed out the time. They got startled! They can’t find my orders in their queue! I noticed that they have served a lot of other customers that came after us but our orders never came! In short, they forgot about our orders and had I not approached them, they wouldn’t know that we were waiting.

The server was quick though in trying to pacify the mad momma in me. He offered to help us move in a corner table so I can easily manage the kids. He even carried all our stuff for us and apologized non-stop.

Anyhow, my kids enjoyed the Calamsi Pie – sour and tart with sweetness in it. It was as usual perfect – creamy and yummy! I enjoyed my Chai Chocolate on the other hand.

The strong taste of Chai surprisingly went well with their chocolate. The two didn’t over power each other. It was such a refreshing drink!

I also asked why they didn’t have the waffle in their menu anymore coz I was also eyeing on it. Staff explained that it’s hard to cook the waffle so they took it out of their menu.

Still love Toby Estate but I’m taking one star for the mishap.

Didn't know they now have a branch in SM Aura. I have always loved Toby's Estate's Dark Chocolate Chewy Cookie better than the buckies!!! Super chewy!!! Totally not for sharing! Haha. Otherwise, you'll end up fighting for the walnuts in the middle. 128538128538128538

Their iced mocha coffee is also good!!! Not too sweet and has a strong coffee flavor. 128525128525128525

This is surprisingly good. The right amount of tanginess of this calamansi pie blending well with the sweetness of the caramel sauce and the full taste of the whipped cream just made this dessert heavenly. Unfortunately I'm the only one who enjoyed it out of 3 friends so I guess this cake is pretty much choosing its market. Not to mention pricey at 190 per slice but still worth the try. 128523128077🏻

Whenever I pay my bills or buy something in Aura, I will always pass by Toby's for my chai chocolate fix. Baristas are super nice! I saw that they have food now besides their buckies and that's really good to hear!
A few tables but nonetheless, quality is top notch and consistent. 128077

The Pinoy Lime also known as Calamansi.  Dayap in Filipino Literature,  the fruit that Don Juan used on his wound,  this is after the Ibong Adarna's wicked serenade.

Calamansi is versatile.  Adds a lil tang in pancit,  relieves sore throat when drank as juice,  serves as the perfect condiment when mixed with soy sauce or fish sauce and goes well with pie...wait...what? Pie!!!

Yes,  the coffee joint that is known for the best flat white in the Metro offers Calamansi Pie.  I love anything citrus so this dessert has been under my radar for quite sometime.

On to the pie.  Aesthetically speaking,  the pie looks appetizing,  biases opinion,  i am such a sucker for anything teal.  Thinly sliced crust topped with teal calamansi not-custard/not-cream cheese filling.  Slathered with whipped cream.

The crust,  i aint sure if it's a concontion of graham,  oats and muesli.  The nutty flavor is a breath of air,  this is something that sets the pie apart from the others. Being different pays off.

The filling.  This deserves a separate paragraph.  Semi-sweet,  tangy,  smooth and creamy.  The citrus flavor of the Calamansi stands out.  This makes the pastry extremely addicting. It goes well with the nutty crust.  Melt-in-your-mouth nutty goodness.

How do i love thee,  let me count the ways:

Not overly sweet
Has the right amount of citrus flavor
Affordable
Nutty crust
Ideal serving size
Aesthetically appealing and
It's teal!

I rest my case.

P.S. I forgot about Bucky. The pie is amnesia-inducing.

Got the flat white today.

I don't really know what a legit flat white tastes like, but since it's supposed to be a less foamy brother of the latte, then I can say this one fits the description.

I like my coffee strong though, so I think I'll pass on this one next time. 'twas good coffee. Just not for me. 128517

Oh and the previous reviews are right: location sucks. 128530

Toby has the best flat white. It was creamy but a great taste of caffeine. Barista's were accommodating in explaining the different type of their coffee. Though the place is not cozy as you would imagine a coffee shop should be (because it was just a small shop in Aura) but you will forget about it because of what you are having.

Price ranges from 120-160.

Personally, the best mocha in Manila by far. Very nice espresso with just the right amount of cocoa, finished off with a beautiful latte art (inspired by the famous Junichi-san)! Cheers! 9749

Their Mocha is better than Starbucks!! 128077

I'm craving for this now - thought of leaving them a review. 128522

I would have given them 511088️, the only thing that bothers me is their location in SM Aura. They are in the middle with everyone passing by. I'm irritated 128532

One reason that I am in love with coffee, is because it relaxes me and the ambiance of coffee shops.
I wish to have some time to sit and just sip my hot Mocha - 10 minutes will do. But in their location, I cannot. 128528

Frankly, I didnt know that Toby's has a store in Aura. Been dying to try this ever since I heard good reviews about their coffee. Only here in Looloo, I always go to Aura because it is closer to my place. And i always pass by Toby's location. 128514 I dont bother checking them out before because I thought it is just an ordinary coffee-to-go store. I am that concerned when it comes to coffee.

I wish they will have their own space in Aura. Or please open a branch in Mckinley Hill? 128513
I swear, this will be my first pick if I crave for a hot coffee again.

But definitely visiting their other branch in Makati, just to have their delicious Mocha drink plus to be able to sit alone and read some book. 128522

My favorite iced coffee. Get the long black for 120p. Worth it. I've bought the Woolloomooloo coffee beans for home use with no regrets.
