A popular lunch time spot and after work dinner place. The Food Hall offers steaks, burgers, seafood, pasta, pizza, and many more, it's a buffet of a menu...

T.E. Half Chicken (320 PHP)
Fairly priced for a 1/2 portion of chicken, it's tender throughout, but lacking in  tasteful personality, the skin is nice and crisp. Also enjoyed the mango sauce and the grilled corn buts with the french beans. THis is the cheapest dish on the menu that will stuff you good.

Steak and Marrow (590 PHP)
150 grams of hangar steak prepared medium, presented pre-sliced for convenience and with a side of bone marrow. The beef was tender enough to satisfy, the sauce was really good, but lacking, and the marrow is really just a compliment. Overall, a good choice for a meaty meal.

To celebrate a friend's birthday, we hung out at the posh SM Aura in BGC. We had a taste of the delectable offerings of Todd English Food Hall, an upscale dining area situated in the top floor of the mall. The restaurant is actually owned by the same group that operates the esteemed Tim Ho Wan Chinese restaurant and the Mesa Fusion Cuisine chain of restaurants. This place was just opened this year and has been garnering a lot of attention from the media, the dining public, and the local food scene. Being privileged to try out this place, I certainly was excited! The place has truly been known for its unique play on international flavors and favorites.

In the restaurant, our blogger group had a taste of their wide array of dishes, including:

Frito Miso. This fried squid delight was not too oily, actually. It was very crispy and a bit sweet. The squid was fresh and tasty! The garlic mayo sauce made the dish even more flavorful.

Simple Salad. The standard fresh vegetable dish for those who want things basic. It's a mix of lettuce, tomatoes, corn, vinaigrette, and olive oil.

Spinach Salad. Made from Spanish Spinach or Alugbati, this healthy dish is a veritable concoction of wellness. The slightly bitter taste of the spinach leaves was complemented by the sweet and juicy tomatoes, oranges, cranberries, and friend onion rings.

Tuna Tartare. This sashimi dish was complemented by steamed shrimp. Seafood lovers will surely have a blast with this one.

Brooklyn Meatball Spaghetti. The huge meatballs coupled with angel hair pasta was a force to be reckoned with. The sheer size of the meatballs and its cheesy fillings can make anyone full in an instant. Add to that the crisp tomato sauce and you definitely have something good for the belly.

Seafood Diablo Orzo. This seafood pasta delight was composed of their special tomato sauce garnished in olive oil cooked with shrimps, squid, scallops with the cheesy risotto. Seafood lovers will surely have a blast with this dish.

Miso Glaze Salmon. This seafood delight is composed of a pan seared salmon topped with salad for those who want their dishes health conscious. I especially loved the fish for tasting very fresh and light.

Wagyu Fried Rice. As a meat lover, my bias for steak has always been very heavy. Imaging my delight when I found out that the meat was made out of pure Wagyu beef cut into small strips and topped on fried rice. It's definitely a high end take on that simple beef tapa I usually eat.

Steak and Marrow. The steak goodness never ends. This U.S. Hanger steak was cooked to perfection. Add to that a thick slice of bone marrow that's surely delightful for fat lovers. I surely had a great time savoring the fat and tasting the soft, delicious, meat.

TE Pork Chop. This huge chunk of pork chops really made my heart melt. Add to that the demi glace sauce and the great cooking. I really ate my heart out as I devoured this dish.

Lamb Chops. As a lamb lover, this dish is a welcome addition to the array. The baked meat was drizzled with mint sauce and cream. This reminded me of the lamb dishes I tasted in Malaysia. However, this dish really took the cake. I love the cooking and its flavorful taste.

Agnolotti Veal. More fatty goodness came with this dish. The creamy sauce and tender fat made me want to ask for more.

Truffle Fungi Pizza. For some carb vegetable goodness. This pizza was a thick and hot slab of premium truffles. This was truly for those with discerning taste.

As for dessert, we had:

The Bomb! The white chocolate dome was drizzled with sinfully delightful chocolate sauce. Believe it or not, the cake had a graham, ice cream, and espresso cream filling. Talk about a small dome that packs quite a punch!

Betty White. This more conservative tiramisu cake topped with grahams and gelato is for those who want a more traditional approach to their dessert. Plain white and simple.

OMG. Yes it's the name of this dessert. This chocolate overload is composed of lava cake, cereal crumble and chocolate gelato. The bittersweet chocolatey taste is the true embodiment of cacao goodness.

I was only gone a month and a half and there are a lot of good eats I missed. I decided to have dinner at Ping Pong Diplomacy yesterday because I missed the event. Other than catching up on restaurants and new eats, there are just places I'd like to go back to so I had my dessert at Todd English Food Hall. Even if I don't mention what I ordered, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to guess OMG Chocolate Cake.

Having a plate of homemade lava cake surrounded by chocolate cereal balls (na lasang MILO), two kinds of chocolate ganache, chocolate syrup and garnished with chocoate crumbs, it definitely deserves an "OMG" response. The play on texture and the assortment of sweetness made this dish a perfectly balanced dessert.

PHP420 for this dessert but having that feeling of getting overly quenched in chocolate goodness, I think I got what I paid for.

We ordered Caviar and Smoked Salmon Flat Bread, It was nice (just the right blend of the caviar with the salmon) while Risotto Paella has a fresh seafood mix with roasted tomato.Their tomato were good so if you're a tomato-based lover, then you will enjoy this. Their Half Chicken was perfectly roasted the chicken meat was so tender and juicy. T.E Pork Chop (48-hour brined chop) was a good and soft. They have amazing desserts. Go check out their dessert selection because they have the coolest presentation and plating. The *bomb* was good not too sweet and it has the right balance of temperature. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. 127860128077🏻

Good service and nice ambiance. Always nice to go here and dine.

Nigiri Stairs and Steak and Marrow should always be your order when you dine here.

Salmon, tuna, lobster tail, scallop, eel and foie gras nigiris will always win. Steak and bone marrow for P540 is perfect.

Worth every cent. At first, you'll find it expensive but with the service and the classy ambiance, all worth it!

I loved the Lamb Chops with the green rice thing which I thought was just a design at first glance haha!

Their classic burger was also good.

I also ordered the salmon flatbread which is now my FAVORITE!!! 978610084️ so sarap!!!!!!

The spaghetti was usual but still worth every bite.

The only one i did not enjoy was the chicken popcorn taco. It's so dry 128547

Todd English Food Hall's menu was extensive. There were so many dishes we wanted to try but sadly, there were only two tummies to fill up. To be honest, we ordered a lot for just two people. But that's nothing new 128514128055

128055 PIG FACE TACO [P260] 1108811088110881108811088
Crispy pork mask taco with fresh guacamole, black bean puree & cilantro garlic dressing. In Filipino language, it's better know as "sisig taco". I absolutely loved this! The black bean puree and cilantro garlic dressing complemented the fried sisig. Hands down, this one of the best tacos I've tried to date. Can't recommend it enough!

DYNAMITE ROLL [P265] 110881108811088
The menu did not have a description for this but it's just a fried spicy salmon maki. This was good, on the average side. It wasn't bad but wasn't the best either.

127754 RISOTTO PAELLA [P480] 11088110881108811088
Fresh seafood mix with roasted tomato risotto
The great thing about this dish is that they were generous with the seafood (calamari, clams, etc). The tomato flavors were good so if you're a tomato-based dish lover, then you will enjoy this. I only gave 4 stars because the salmon risotto from Refinery is still the best for me. But this is a great dish as well 128077🏻

T.E. TWO WAY DUCK [P650] 11088110881108811088
Homemade duck leg confit, soyus vide duck breast, sweet potato purée, pickled red cabbage, duck demi and french beans. I'm not a big fan of ducks but I found this dish to be really tender. The duck was juicy and the sauce went well with it. (Btw, I really liked how they plated their dishes)

BETTY WHITE [P420] 1108811088110881108811088
Lava Cake, silky pudding, salted caramel gelato. You can't find this dessert in their menu. I think (I can't remember 128514) it was a special dessert for the week. The waiter recommended this to us. As explained by him, this was actually the white chocolate version of the OMG. I don't regret trusting him even for a second. This might be the BEST dessert I've eaten. The lava cake was crunchy on the outside but super soft and moist on the inside. Their gelato were made in-house and I LOVE IT! Best Salted Caramel Gelato I've had. We even ordered another scoop because it was that good. A huge scoop costs [P95] for regular flavors but the salted caramel costs [P120]. I don't think this was in their menu either. Too bad. I do hope they put it permanently as part of their menu because I would come back just for it (on days I need comfort because it does cost P420128514). To be honest,!I'd give this a hundred stars if I could 10084

The place had really good interiors. I loved how everything was set up. The servers were really kind and attentive as well. To match everything, the food prices were high as well 128514 But worth every penny 128176 There are still a lot of dishes worth trying so I will be definitely be back.

P.S. Since I'm still new to looloo | (3 weeks old), it's best to inform that this is a #latepost 🤓

Always end up going here for when my family wants to eat out, but not sure of where to go cuz there's sure to be something for everyone. :))

Last night we celebrated my dad's birthday, and we ordered quite a lot.... Tuna sashimi, spicy tuna rolls , oysters, Caesar salad, sisig tacos, seared tuna (we obviously like tuna), miso glazed salmon, spaghetti & meatballs, and the roast chicken!128517 Everything was wow, but my favorites were the spicy tuna rolls, and the spaghetti!! It's amazing how their dishes are so on point, even tho they're of totally different cuisines.

My only qualm is that I don't like the dessert selection too much. It's too much I guess especially after eating so much for dinner HAHAHAH.

Great service as usual, and I still love their bathrooms 128514

The place was nice but a little dim.. I had to use my cellphone light in order to read what's on the menu.. The resto looked like a buffet place but it isn't, maybe just following the 'english hall' way. Anyway, the food is pricey because of the ingredients which may have been imported. The food taste overall was ok for me.. Nothing really exciting but just the same. I forgot exactly what we've ordered but it was pasta and pork belly.. The pork belly was too fatty. It was like 80% fat and 20% meat.. I love pork fat but this is way too much for me so we weren't able to finish it all.. Then for dessert was ice cream which was good and sweet.

Todd English is a posh restaurant that is well designed and great ambience to please any diner. There are several food selections from Japanese, Italian, etc. I've always loved dining here.

I love the menu selection of Todd English, a mix between pricey and affordable. We choose vongole linguini for the pasta and their foodhall burger. Both were great. The pasta has a generous servings of clams which I loved most. The burger served medium rare patty and oozes every bite.

We had their famous OMG cake for the dessert, worth every calories..

Went on a Friday date night and excessively ordered since it was our first time to dine here and didn't know the serving was that big and heavy on the stomach. We had the Rissoto Paella (seafood), T.E. Half Chicken and Brooklyn Style Spaghetti. The paella was a little too saucy and sour for my taste, the chicken was okay but what won me over was the spaghetti. Loved the tasty sauce and meatballs!

Too bad we weren't able to taste their famous desserts because we figured we already spent too much on the mains. Desserts are priced at Php 420 btw. 128566 Definitely not a cheap place to get comfort food. But aside from the food quality, what I really loved about this restaurant is the classy ambiance and nice plating.

Food and service was exemplary. Food was perfectly seasoned. Serving is generous for one. Waited 10-15 mins for the food.

Ate here several times already. I can't even remember the first time hahah! Maybe because each moment is like my first time coz it always excites me whenever we plan to spend time eating here at todd. It never fails to satisfy my cravings and fulfillment when it comes to fine dining restaurant. Loved everything on the menu. But my personal favorite is their calamari and of course their undeniably heaven-sent dessert. The OMG. MapapaOMG ka sa sarap!128513 If you're planning to go there on peak hours might as well call for reservation especially when you're eating in big group. 1108811088110881108811088

LONG TIME, NO REVIEW. I’ve been busy for so long that I can only take pictures of the food, but got no time for review. This eat-up happened when I was still in Philippines around March. I received a message from Jayson and was inviting me for a dinner in BGC. I’ve declined most of his invites, but this time was different. I took a leave in the office and travelled from South to North for the eat-up.

We went to Todd English Food Hall and I was absolutely one of the late comers, there was nothing new about it. Ha-ha! They have ordered several dishes already when I came in so I simply added an appetizer for the group and ordered a drink for myself which is a glass of Sangria.

We ordered the following:

PIG FACE SISIG TACOS
The appetizer that I’ve ordered for the group. 3 pcs of small tacos with crunchy pork bits, guacamole and black bean puree. It was quite okay for me as the starter.

T.E. PORK CHOP
A fatty pork. That’s all I can remember now. If you’re not a fan of pork fats, then you can forget this one.

HOME CURED BACON
This is not the usual bacon that we cook in our home. This is about an inch thick bacon with tomato and pumpkin puree. IMO, this one is better than the pork chop.

VEAL AGNOLOTTI
It was the creamy pasta that we ordered and I wasn’t able to recall the taste of it since we actually shared a small serving of dish.

RISOTTO PAELLA
Oh! Paella lovers must try this. A bit pricey for a small serving of paella as compared to other restaurants, but I still do recommend this.

OMG
Yes! Definitely an OMG dessert from them. For me, it was overpriced and overrated. LOL!

My apologies for the super late review and thanks for the recommendation. Till next time 128521 Dennis O, Elaine O, Christina R, Jayson J, Kristin A, Marc David M, Russel F and Patrick V.
