Tried out Toho Antigua's newest branch south of the Metro. They have a spacious dining area, decked in old fashioned Chinese interiors. Their signature roasts prominently displayed by the counter. Upon entering the restaurant, one of their staff quickly attended to our group. Tried the following:

Yang Chow Fried Rice (bowl) for the price of 195pesos this can easily feed 4 to 5 people. Their serving is very generous. I find the flavor very mild but some of my friends find the flavor lacking even with the overflow of ingredients. But paired with their other dishes this is a great companion.

Miki bihon - another generous serving good for sharing. The noodles are film and with a smokey flavor. The meat and vegetables are aplenty. A meal in itself.

Salt and Pepper Spareribs - bite carefully because of the chopped up bone pieces. Flavorful and spicy. The dipping sauce compliments the pork dish nicely.

Check your receipt before paying just to make sure everything is in order. Ours was charged with the wrong rice, if not for our sharp eyes the restaurant could have lost 150pesos because of the wrong bill.

Stuffing ourselves with more chinese food because chinese new year! 128518 In terms of restaurant options, there are really not a lot to choose from here at SM Southmall. Yes, they have Yabu, Racks, Contis, Mary Grace, Max's, Gerry's, Bonchon and a lot more but personally, not the restaurants I will look for most of the time. There are also very limited chinese restaurants to choose from. We decided to eat here at Toho because my aunt missed eating here. We used to eat here most of the time before. Favorite orders are the Lumpiang Shanghai and Pancit Canton. 128077🏼 but to be different, we ordered Pancit Canton, Beef with Oyster Sauce, and Kangkong with Lechon Kawali. Serving sizes were all huge and good for sharing. Instead of just being a sahog, we were surprised to see a lot of crispy tender and tummy lechong kawali underneath the kangkong leaves. And slices are huge pa!! 128077🏼 The beef w oyster sauce was good since the beef was very tender. It had the right level of saltiness so we also enjoyed this one. The pancit canton was your usual pancit canton loaded with toppings like cabbage, carrots, liver, and shrimps. 128513

A lot of new restos are cropping up along food street in southmall and one of them is toho Antigua. I think this is the same toho you can find in sm BF and along Presidents ave.
Ordered a serving of their yang chow (wc was huge), the beef broccoli (in picture), fried spare ribs and pintsik frito.
Servers were nice and polite. Food arrived piping hot all in about ten minutes. It was hubby's first time to try the pintsik frito at toho and he loved it! Almost finished the whole serving 128518
Beef and broccoli was good too although the spare ribs were a bit tough.
Yay for another good resto in SM!
