My dream unicorn milkshake 🦄

Went to Tokyo Bubble Tea in Katipunan extension last May 6 for dinner and really want to try their unicorn milkshake.

Since it's Sakura season 127800 Tokyo bubble tea launched its Sakura Unicorn Milkshake. 155 for medium size and 165 pesos for large milktea.

Available in two flavors :

127800 Strawberry - sweet like cotton candy with refreshing tartness of fresh strawberries , that's what this magical drink is all about

127800 Taro- the magical sweetness of cotton candy made even more special with the velvety goodness of taro.

Tasted so good and really colorful , it's like i want to stare it all day.

I'm in love with my dream Unicorn Milkshake. Dreamslide on a rainbow, hug clouds in the sky, this magical drink will teach me to fly. Instagram worthy 🦄🦄🦄127800127800127800

Was supposed to meet someone at banapple katipunan but there is was no parking available so I went across the street to Tokyo bubble tea. When we got there, there was no electricity 128541 kudos to them though for still operating even despite of. Sayang cos the interiors looked really cute. We decided to stay outside though cos it was a bit dark inside.
Tried their signature bubble tea and hubby tried the lemon yakult. We also got an order of rolls to share- forgot the name but it had ebi tempura inside.
Was surprised how quickly the orders came even though they had no lights etc 128513 the bubble tea was really good, very similar to the ones I had in Taiwan. The rolls also
Arrived quickly and they were very filling too!
Service was also good! Very attentive and polite servers 128077🏼 gave them a good review on their comment card and I hope they'd open a branch in the south 128522

The Gyudon is so wallet friendly for a Japanese place (195) and the fact that it's open until late and has fairly good parking means I come back here often to attempt to study. The Vancouver roll is pretty good, too, when I feel hungrier than usual!

Started our Saturday food trip yesterday at Tokyo Bubble Tea in Katipunan for brunch. We stuck in traffic so instead having lunch at Greenhills we already had our lunch here. This was our 2nd time. The first one is my birthday two or 3years ago and we loved the food served here and the ambiance.

We ordered the following;

🔹Japanese curry hamburger steak-
Grilled hamburg smothered with Japanese style curry sauce. Served with steamed Japanese rice and sunny side up egg. (285)

🔹Old Manila Tapsilog- brighten up your morning with this famous tapsilog. My son loves it as he was a tapsilog fan and even ordered extra rice, that's how he loves it!

🔹Roast beef- this comes up with a garlic rice, salad and an egg. The roasts beef has generous serving and tasted so good

🔹Risotto - comes up with chicken and mushroom.

Then we got milk tea from their bubble tea bar
🔹taro milk tea
🔹royalmilktea
🔹double chocolate milkshake
🔹strawberry milk tea

Price starts at 80 pesos, has a very cute container and colorful straws.

They have wifi here. Good thing also they shared the location with Honeybee Pattiserie that serves delicious and unique cakes.

There was a parking area and a guard that will assist you.

Staffs are nice and accommodating 128522 will definitely go back but next time at the Honeybee

Their milk tea is just okay. I don't know walang "umph" factor for me unlike Serenitea or Chatime. Tried their ramen too and felt the same way in comparison with Wrong Ramen and the like. But the service is great, the ambiance is perfect, huge parking space, and there are variety of food selections.

Overall: I liked it! 128522

Ramon L and I had our graduation pictures taken today, and I guess this is where the reality of graduating finally starts to sink in. The feeling itself is a bit strange; it was a mix of excitement and nervousness, of confidence and of fear. We wanted to linger in the moment a little longer, and so we decided on splurging a little more for our after school dinner.

We had Bulgogi Nachos (Php 245), Volcano Maki (Php 265), and the Ninniku Salmon Cream Sauce (Php 285). Mon also ordered the JCC Milo Milk Tea (Large, Php 165).

The JCC Milo Milk Tea is their variation of the well-loved Milo Dinosaur. It was good -- big, rich, and chocolatey, although I honestly prefer Happy Lemon's (Large, Php 85) or Pico Restaurant and Bar's (Php 110). JCC, by the way, stands for Japanese Cheesecake Cream.

The nachos and the pasta were served next, and boy, did I enjoy them. The nachos were huge, and would definitely be good for 3-4 people. Mon and I had half of it to-go. I loved how spicy it was, and how generous the toppings were, especially with the spicy pepper paste and the japanese mayo, two condiments I love. The nachos were crispy too. Would not recommend it for take out though, especially if you leave it alone for long hours. The quality reduces significantly.

The pasta was creamy and filling, and the only downside would probably the three small chunks of salmon on top. In my opinion, it would've been better served with a small slab of salmon instead of cut-up chunks to fully be able to enjoy it with the pasta.

It's our second visit here, and also a second time to order a roll, although we really should've gone with our gut feeling and not ordered one after our last experience. The maki had a creative presentation, one that actually resembled a volcano (thus, the name) and topped w salmon bits mixed in japanese mayo and cut up jalapeño that looked like lava. The maki was very dry, and the ones at the bottom layer barely had any salmon bits in it. It was a disappointment.

The food is slightly expensive, but overall, good experience with good service. I would come back occasionally. Just forget the maki.

TAKOYAKI ALSO FOR DESSERT! Hahahaha dessert, yes. 128514128514128514128514128584128541128541128541

Their takoyaki is my favorite!! 128525 I always order this whenever we go to Tokyo Bubble Tea. Tasty and freshly cooked! Topped with Japanese mayo. 9786

I also ordered JCC Roasted Milk Tea (not in the photo). I don't know what JCC is-- Japanese Chever Chenes maybe? Hahaha. 128514 jk Okay my humor is so lame maybe this is why I'm single. 128541 Anyway, ordered my milk tea with egg pudding too. I loved it-- it's not too sweet and the "tea" flavor was a bit strong. My Kuya cousin ordered green tea milkshake. Took a sip and it was just okay-- I'm not a fan of green tea though. The ice cream on top reminded me of the sundae of Family Mart. 9786

My mom wanted Japanese so I took her here for dinner. We both ordered Beef Gyudon. The staff was very nice, they were attentive and friendly! My mom liked our server because she smiled a lot :)

Our food came in about 10 minutes. The Miso soup was bland and tasted like hot water (sorry), so we sent it back to the kitchen. Then the Gyudon came, meat was tender, with just the right sweetness! My mom liked it very much! The Miso soup came back after several minutes, and it tasted better, more flavorful this time so we were relieved.

Overall, I liked it here. With the friendly staff and nice ambience, I think I'll let the bland soup slide for now and give it 4 out of 5!
