i'm not really a fan of an al fresco-ish style of resto which is actually inside the mall, beside the court and some few feet away from the activity center. but it's a weekend so i guess the ambiance will be different if it's a weekday. but the staff is accommodating so i keep coming back to this place.

but today, i came back because of the Sakura Unicorn Milkshake. was supposed to try the strawberry flavor but it was currently unavailable. it was served in a mucho mug and i would have preferred it in a tall glass for aesthetics. since a unicorn is such a delicate mythical creature, i thought i would have a "wow" or "awww" reaction when i saw it. apparently, it was overwhelming. different soft serve ice creams with different colors, with gold coated bits. it had a tinge of taro flavor and for me the rest was bland. it's P165 pesos and for me it was not worth the hype.

but i loved their milk teas. so i guess i should with that in the meantime.

and the teriyaki chicken doria was just awesome. i was frowning when reading what it was made of (chicken teriyaki over mozzarella cheese and mushroom and rice). but when i tasted it, oh my! the flavors were wonderful. the cheese compliments the teriyaki sauce and mushroom and i never imagined myself eating cheese over rice. this my 5 stars for me.

We all know that the unicorn 🦄 has created a trend worldwide. It is dominating every aspect of our lives, starting from merchandise, and now food.

Tokyo Bubble Tea has introduced their newest item on the menu: the Sakura Unicorn Milkshake! Available in the strawberry and taro flavors. Prices are at P155 (medium) and P165 (large). It's a drink that sparkles with colors, and of course topped with a "unicorn's horn". I paid the cafe a visit and put this pretty drink to the test.

SAKURA UNICORN MILKSHAKE (L) P165
It's a taro drink with pearls at the bottom, bubble gum flavored cream on top, and a small cone dressed as the unicorn's horn. It didn't look as amazing as it looked on the ads, but I must say that I was impressed with this drink. It wasn't too sweet, and it went so well with the pearls. I was able to finish the large size all on my own 128517 The bubble gum was okay, although I didn't appreciate it that much with the taro.

MANGO BRAZO P100
We ordered a cake that was patterned after the brazo de mercedes, but used mangoes bits in the filling. The elements of the cake didn't really match harmoniously. At first I found it bland, then I had a taste of the mangoes and it didn't taste sweet enough.

Oh, and can I just say that word about this drink has spread like wildfire! Every table at Tokyo Bubble Tea had them! And some tables only ordered the drinks! This is insane!!! 🦄127752

I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken in Creamy Pesto and it was surprisingly yummy. But it's a bit pricey, though. The place is located near the foodcourt and is open-air, but you will not mind because that side of the mall is relatively quiet. Impressive service and you can have alone time, so I guess what you paid for is worth it.

Nothing's special. Just happy that they serve Cali Maki. Plus their Milk Tea is overpriced.

When matcha craving strikes and spontaneous meeting a dear friend who also loves matcha... Then, its gonna be a matcha party 128077🏼

Me & Lea A, quickly agreed to dine at Tokyo Bubble in Ground flr of SM Megamall Bldg A. I'm not much hungry, just wanted a matcha drink. But since I'm with a pretty hungry friend, I have to make pilit myself to eat 128541

For our snack slash dinner, we had:

Salmon Sushi (P175) 8 slices- need I say more? Its my favorite. Its just that its bitin, whenever I'm not in buffet place & ordering it. It is served with shredded carrots & raddish.

Super Fireball Roll (P265, 6 pcs) its has crunch ebi fried with green onion roll topped with spicy tuna cubes drizzles with special house blend sauce - 2 thumbs up128077🏼128077🏼its amost the same as the spicy tuna roll of sumo sam. Though not that spicy.

For my craving satisfaction, I ordered the Japanese Cheesecake Cream Matcha Flavor10084️ (P135 for medium size)there's this creamy little salty topping (might be the Japanese Cheesecake Cream) and it goes well when mixed with the blended matcha (this one has the right taste of green tea). Serving is quite big and it is served with pearls. This is a must try when you're in Tokyo Bubble.

All in all, we are happy in everything we ordered. All are delicious! Especially the matcha drink that I have. Though, ambiance is not that much. Service is good. Reasonable price 128077🏼

First time to try out Gyutendon and it was good. This hot pot bowl includes gyudon, tempura and special sauce that you mix with the rice. Yummy 128523

I haven't tried a lot of their dishes but I keep coming back to this place because of their mouthwatering caesar salad, the best one I've ever tasted! Before it was a hefty serving but recently it looks like it got a little smaller even the serving plate was now a bowl with an odd shaped. I also love their california maki even though its hard to make it fit my mouth because it's quite big for its size.

Tokyo Bubble Tea has always been my go-to place for milk tea because I just LOVE them. I always purchase the classic Pearl Milk Tea and I love how they serve it to me in this cute big glass mug and I always took into a point to get the Pink straw.

This time, I purchased a plate of their carbonara. The serving was kind of small for the price, and it was kind of bland. It felt dry and I got a bit disappointed with it.

I don't think I'll ever purchase their carbonara again, but I'm definitely going back for their milk tea. :)

My fave is their omurice with curry sauce, price may come a bit pricey but since they have generous servings.. All is well. And if youre craving for pasta- Try their chicken teriyaki on pesto pasta. Haven't tried their milktea's yet but i'll def will next time.

beef patty with tempura , sushi bento , nice plating but nothing really special
Beef yakiniku's serving was so much less now
kani salad was not bad
beef gyudon bowl with so little beef strips
tokoyaki balls is totally disgusting ... Lol.. Taste like doughy balls instead of the soft exploding fresh squid ocean flavors

Doesn't look like a Salad eh? It didn't taste either. If salads could be like this always and always. Haha!128539 Lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken, with a bit of pepper and cheese on top plus their version of Ceasar dressing.
I also had their nachos which was sweet and spicy, the ground beef looked like ginisang bagoong.128514 It's not so good but not bad either. I always have their Azuki Red Bean Shake. Servings are good for sharing and prices are very reasonable.128077

I tried the beef gyudon. The serving is so big. I didn't eat everything because I felt that my stomach Is kinda full. Everytime I ordered a different viand or food, the taste is still good. They always meet my expectations. So I recommend this place to those people who love japanese foods. Well, my appetite is very satisfied.128111

Had lunch here today with my bf. We ordered Osaka BBQ Ribs(mine) and Yakiniku Beef Rice(his). Both were served with veggie sidings and garlic rice :) The ribs for me were 4/5. It's tender and juicy and the bbq sauce complements it well. I had a taste of the beef and it was 5/5 :) My boyfriend liked it as well and he was saying "Ang sarap ang sarap" the whole time. Hahaha.
I'm looking forward to tasting more of their dishes 128076
