I love their new menu. They have more options and new dishes to choose from. They combined 2 faves into one bowl and I noticed their serving size was bigger compared to before 128079🏼128079🏼

I ordered Gyu Curry (265PHp) it has tender beef slices and Japanese curry. Yummy! 128523

I can't believe I haven't eaten here before! But I totally understand why, the place isn't really appealing, understated, with worn-out tables and chairs and rusty interiors. It needs a major makeover but surprisingly, the food tells otherwise.

For our light dinner, we ordered the truffled mushroom soup, spicy tuna salad, chicken teriyaki doria and kiwi tea slush.

• Truffled mushroom soup -- needs more truffle, but what I love most about this dish is that the mushrooms were puréed unlike the usual cream-based mushroom soup.

• Spicy tuna salad -- my least favorite of all. The tuna to veggie ratio was way off, serving size was a bit small for the price too. Skip this.

• Chicken teriyaki doria -- calling cheese lovers! The rice is cooked in creamy mushroom sauce and then baked to melt the cheese on top. Served with chicken teriyaki to lessen the richness of the casserole. Delicious but very filling!

• Kiwi tea slush -- It came on a big mug with pearls and an extra order of egg pudding. Love this and how refreshing it was on a hot humid night.

We found other drinks and dishes on the menu interesting, so we're definitely coming back for them!128077🏻9786

I feel so late in liking Tokyo Bubble Tea. I thought they only serve milk tea, silly me. I was surprised to see their semi extensive menu.

While killing time and waiting for Looloo friends (April H Roy Lambert T Ruth D Isha S), i decided to grab a quick bite. The plan was to have something to drink but the spicy seafood pasta keeps on chanting "Eat Me". I gave in and ordered a plate of chili infused carbs.

Service was fast. Food was served in less than 5 minutes. Serving size is just right and it is aesthetically appealing. I wish they used colorful crockery though. Tokyo Bubble Tea aint messing around, the pasta is spicy! Just the way i like it. Not too spicy that it would numb your tongue, you get to taste the flavorful sauce and the seafood (mussels, clams, squid and tuna). The noodles are cooked al dente and drenched in spicy seafood sauce. Each spoonful is an explosion of flavors in my mouth.

Tokyo Bubble Tea, where have you been all my life?

Post Script:

The Japanese Green Milk Tea tastes awesome too.

Tried one of the maki rolls. Yum! I finished all the eight pieces because I was hungry. Haha! Not expensive :)) If you are craving for omakase but you are in Trinoma, it can give a good fix.

We ordered chicken teriyaki doria and grilled porkchop doria to avail of their milk tea promo: P8 for regular or P18 for large milk tea. Royal milk tea was my choice, it had the typical milk tea taste I missed. We loved the chicken teriyaki but not its rice, it smelled and tasted like rubber. We thought creamy mushroom soup did not go well with plain rice. It tasted odd. Meanwhile we loved the grilled porkchop's rice because it was flavored and peppery. The porkchop itself had nothing special about it. We also ordered takoyaki, it's good but a little overpriced for me. It was fully cooked unlike the ones sold at food courts wherein one is not very sure whether it's cooked because the takoyaki is still soft inside. It had a slightly different but good taste. Overall we had a great time dining here ;)

The Caesar salad is a must try!!
I can finish the whole plate!
Generous dressing which is sooo delicious, grilled chicken meat is tender and those chunks of ripe mango is just too perfect with the seedless grapes...
I Sooo love this!

Tokyo Bubble Tea's food never fails to disappoint me every time. Why do I still come back, then? Because Royal Milk Tea. This time their California Maki kept on falling apart, I guess they used regular rice instead of Japanese rice. Yikes.

But my love for RMT will never end. <3 #jowalevels

My standard for good sushi has changed after this dinner with my mom. I have been enlightened with the idea that well-made/authentic sushi should not fall apart when held with chopsticks and whatnot.

I'd say I'm a fan of Japanese food but I have yet to discover how real honest to goodness Jap dishes should taste like. I've only tried Omakase and Sugi so far so I have a long way to go HAHA! But this California Roll is good enough to satisfy that sushi craving. 128515

I have a confession to make. Whenever I eat or drink something not clean, raw, or anything that was not properly cooked, I 128169 instantly. Yes. I'm serious!! My friends even call me 'germometer'. 128585

That's what happened after I ate here. I got their chicken teriyaki, it was served to me 5 mins after I placed my order. At first I didn't notice it because, again, I was too hungry. I just felt that it wasn't properly cooked. Still raw in the middle. So halfway through my meal, I can feel my stomach starting to … i asked for bill and left. Hahahahahaha. I didn't complain. Won't order this one next time. But it was good sana. The veggies were really tasty.

I'll still come back for their milk teas.

Haven't eaten here in awhile, so we decided to pay a visit. Ordered their takoyaki and fish and chips. I don't know why but I always love their food, but not this time I guess. It was so-so. Medyo nakakaumay. Had to take out almost half of the food. But don't worry, TBT, I still love your rice meal and your milktea. :)

For P245, the chicken teriyaki doria(?) wasn't so good. If i remember the description correctly it said "baked rice". One would think the rice is actually baked. But this one was really just one layer of cheese and then beneath it the plain white rice, separately stacked. It felt like microwave food :(

However, the JCC black milk tea is hands down super! Tokyo Bubble Tea really has the best milk tea in town. It's my go-to place (or gong cha) when am craving for some milk tea :) (the three stars is primarily because of the chicken)

I had my dinner here for 2 nights! Hahaha
I super love the entries here and their generous serving.
Had my first dinner with friends...

I tried tonkatsu omurice which i wasn't able to finish cause of the big serving! Paired it with their jasmine milk tea which is sooo refreshing!

i didn't enjoy the food much cause we're on a hurry but the food is really great! So the next day, i decided to have my dinner here again with my sister and brother in law...

This time I tried their ceasar salad which is really a must try! Big serving! Big chunks of grilled chicken, mango and bread.. Paired it with strawberry slush and vanilla ice cream.

Awesome!
Will definitely be back!
Hmmmm, might try some sushi next time., i dont like sushis but will give a try....
