Never took a picture since everything from the beginning went wrong. The Katsudon I ordered didn't have any onions (and yes it was specifically mentioned on the menu) so it was pointed out immediately. They never apologized or did anything about it. Asked them put add it they have me the onions in a small container and again no apologies. We received the bill and the iced tea that never got served was included. After pointing it out again no apologies. They probably have brainless unhappy zombies as staffs. Katsudon lacked taste and tempura just wasn't yummy. Worst service ever next to Sumo Sam. Just a horrible experience!128078128078

A small dining place in Megamall with a superb iced tea. All the while we thought it's a Japanese cafe, surprisingly they serve pastas, burgers and salads. Terrific place to hang out with friends after a long day of shopping (and window shopping of course). A must-try place. And my girl likes the deco wall.

Yasai Ramen P220.00 - It was in a small bowl but it did fill me up. Nothing great. Loved the salad more. Hahaha!
Tokyo Caesar P165.00 - Salad is good. Nothing to rave about. It has the typical croutons, bacon bits, and vegies.
Iced Tea P80.00 - Great!

Overall, the place has decent food. Quiet. Something a loner would like while having lunch. Service was great.

Catch is...DQ is just on the opposite side. Dessert time! 128521

We were supposed to eat somewhere else but bf saw their display and so we decided tokyo cafe it is! 127857

Ordered:

127837 creamy ebiko pasta- it was light and just okay.
127844 ten-ju- three pieces lang 128532 haha with rice. This was kind of good.
127835 hamburg steak- two pieces, not very thick ( think jollibee). This was also just okay.

Everything was okay but nothing I'd crave for. Price was affordable but I'd rather spend it somewhere worth it. 128076

Good customer service
What I don't like is that the place has little space and has broken flooring.

Good food and dining at tokyo cafe. I thought that there was no more room to accomodate people dining in, but then i was wrong it has a good space inside and you'll never notice that there are a lot of people outside.

Weird lighting. Oh well.

I can't help but draw comparisons to Bubble Tea with this restaurant. Similar in concept -- a Japanese-style cafe serving sort of fusion dishes. And yes, we ended up here because my mom wanted out of Bubble Tea, since that was where we'd usually eat after shopping in Megamall.

Got the Grilled Chicken Curry (P265), since I was craving for some Japanese curry. Serving time was really slow; it took 20 minutes for the kitchen to come out with my order. And the place wasn't packed, mind you.

About the dish? Honestly, nothing special. The chicken was mostly fat and grilled skin, not much on the meat itself, but at least it was grilled right with the juices. The curry sauce wasn't exactly spice-filled, nor did it have the consistency I was looking for. Not really worth it IMHO. But it tasted okay. But for that price, I could have just easily gone to Izumi Curry instead :c

So for the food and service, just so-so. At least the place was clean.

We ate there just coz they're the only one that had free seats. Now I know why. All of the ones we ordered were not available. All items with shrimp is not available. No kiddie meal, was with my niece so she wanted spaghetti and chicken. Ordered the beef something steak as seen in the picture to be made medium, came out with gel like sauce and was well done, had the do it again, came out the same with the sauce so salty it might as well be made out of Kiamoy! Ugh...
Never again.

Yummm! If you like something new, creamy, and salty*... this is the place to be! What I find unique in this resto is the "japanized" pizza/pasta. It gives a twist to the usual red/white-sauce dishes. Each serving is good for 1 super hungry or 1-2 persons.

On the photo: Creamy Ebiko Pasta, Seafood Pizza and Clam Chowder - already good for 3-4, all for Php840.

*I just really like salty foods.128513

I had their creamy ebiku pasta. It was creamy and delish - YUM. The shrimps were wonderfully (naks!!) cooked. I loved their peach iced tea! 128536128077128079

Minus one star for the weird store setup plus wash area and comfort room were also out of order.
