Back again at Tokyo Tempura at Rainbow St. SSS Village in Marikina. This time, hubby and I brought along with us our kids and my Mama Elaine P. My daughter and my mom loves Shrimp tempura 127844 that's why we want them to go here and try it.

We ordered individual Bai-Cha around 6pcs of Shrimp Tempura for around 80 pesos and 20 pesos for the rice. Then on this photo is a combination of squid and shrimp tempura for around 11pcs j all for only 109 pesos. We got drinks in can for almost 30 pesos , they have a variety of softdrinks in can flavored there. They are selling soft served ice cream127846 and Japanese sushi also.

Service was fast and price is very affordable and super busog compare to other jap food chains in mall. Must try in Marikina127844

Shrimp Tempura lovers??? 128587 Shrimp Tempura overload 127844127844127844127844127844127844127844

Finally back again at one of my favorite shrimp tempura place in Marikina. Located at 81 Rainbow St. Concepcion Dos Marikina, near Lilac Street.

Since hubby didn't go to work today so we had our Tuesdate lunch here. We got this time the Shrimp Tempura 6pcs for around 85 pesos and ordered extra rice for around 20 pesos and drinks in can. In 5 minutes viola! Got our fresh , big, hot and crispy shrimp tempura127844127844127844127844

I really can't imagine that they will be generous as this. It's like man vs food and 127844 wins! My stomach is getting heavy, sulit Talaga dito compare to other Japanese fast food that the shrimp tempura was so small and more of bread crumbs this one is siksik. They even had combination, shrimp tempura with squids for around 110 pesos, will try next time coz I'm so full. By the way they are also offering Japanese wraps here.

If you love shrimp tempura this place is for you... Shrimptastic128076127844

I've tried tokyo tempura when I went to Manila Sundance Bazaar :) It was really worth it for the price of 105php you get 9 pieces of tempura. It's really delicious and addicting and filling of course!! :) I wanted another cup but I was too full already. I hope I find time to visit them here in Marikina! :)

Well I must say the Tempura is not too bad. But it is not too good either. I guess one should not expect light Japanese Tempura batter for the price. But it is really affordable and if you are not too picky with your tempura, it is great value for money. We were told we cannot have the Tempura all you can because they have little left but more people came after us and they all had their shrimp. Anyway, we probably would not be able to eat a lot though, the oil gets to you after a few...

The newest Shrimp Tempura place at Marikina! Located at Rainbow St. SSS Village Marikina.

This is my second time at this place. Was here two weeks ago and this time we had it take out. After my food trip with my boys this afternoon at Lilac we decided to dropped by here before going home to buy some tempura for my daughter Adelheid L since she did not come with us and was just at home, just like mom Elaine P she loves shrimp tempura too127844
I got the 4pcs shrimp tempura 127844127844127844127844 with rice already for only 75 pesos, very affordable right! Again aside from that price is affordable and the taste was good, service whether take out or dine in was fast.

Addition to the growing list of must visited place in Marikina

First stop of our Friday foodtrip yesterday with hubby at Rainbow St. SSS Village, street beside Lilac.

I heard so much of this newly opened Japanese food chain here in Marikina, known for their very affordable shrimp tempura.

We had our lunch there yesterday. We ordered their 6pcs shrimp tempura127844127844127844127844127844127844 for 65 pesos and add 20 for rice and we ordered root beer in can too. Service was so fast and the tempura was good and has generous serving. They are known for their shrimp all u can promo for 199 pesos, will give it a try next time , will bring mom Elaine P she loves tempura 127844

went here on a saturday night. it's far from the usual lilac crowded foodstrip. location is in front of a school where street parking will be your way to park.

place is al fresco and a small shop is located on the second floor. place is hot so needed to get a table near the fan. some stuff being sold are old cassette tapes, vinyls, old posters, electric signages for the artsy ones. the wash area is cool - actual shower head is used as a faucet.

service was slow but forgivable.

we got the unli tempura with rice. they ran out of rice and we had to wait for our 1 cup rice. boo. good thing they served the tempura ahead. i think it was fried below suggested temperature so was kinda oily. you cannot go over 15 pcs. the shrimp pcs were a bit small but it's fine imho. suya!

next time will buy the bucket and will just share with the bf. getting unli was not really worth it coz by the 10th shrimp umay na!

Unlimited tempura and rice for 199. Tempura was quite good.

We went here on a friday night and the place was packed. We waited almost 1.5 hours to be served. 128546 The owners and staff kept on apologizing though and made up for the slow service with FREE Heineken and soft-serve ice cream!

Service did speed up later that night and we had our fill of ebi tempura.

Unlimited Tempura for only 199Php. Their tempura was quite good. The place was chill & okay. They have a second floor that's full of *vintage finds* (old cameras, phones,cd's,starwars|toys, etc.) Hoping they can improve more on their service because it was *kindahhhh* slow.
