Talagang masasarap ang mga dishes nila pero mahal (never tried their ramen though). Their combo dishes ranges 150-200, kahit sabihin natin unli rice para sakin hindi sulit eh ewan ko sa iba. And their drink is a trap! Lakas makabusog! Haha! Kaya ang advice ko mag water nalang kayo.

After TFIOS, my friend and I's original plan was to go to Ma Mon Luk to have some siopao and mami. But my kaartehan attacked and made me not want to go out of the mall anymore. 1285179996

We ended up at Tokyo Tokyo. I ordered their donburi-- Pork Katsudon. It's good and cheap. 128561 That 100-peso donburi made me full already, but it gave me a little umay factor. Hehe. 9786

STUPID REASON BEHIND THAT UMAY FACTOR: I mixed a Kikoman in my food even though it was tasty already. 128518 But I was able to finish it pa din. Inabot nga lang ako ng 45 minutes sa pagkain. Gutom eh. 128514128557

Of course, the maki served aren't fresh obviously but I still opted to eat them anyway. I always do. There's something about its stickiness (you'll know if the makis aren't "real" if the "caviar" is sticky) that makes me like it. And the fact that it's served COLD because again it's not fresh, I like it 128514 Probably because it's got a thick and full roll of crab meat in it--hindi tinipid like what others do.

There's just one thing I noticed. Every time I visit Tokyo Tokyo to eat, I'm too scared to try their other food offers on the menu. I just have a feeling that it'll ruin Tokyo Tokyo for me. Anyway, this is why I always go for either Chicken Oyakodon (picture above) and/or their Classic Bento (Breaded pork, Japanese rice, OILY vegetables, and soy sauce).

They have this Ramen Bar but I don't think they serve a good kind of ramen. Oh! 128532 Good thing I didnt expect a lot since it is not their specialty. Not a good ramen indeed.

Nothing like cheap (not Jollibee-cheap, but you get the point) fake Japanese food to remind you that there's so much to look forward to in a visit to Japan. The maki was too cold for me but again, what do you expect given the price? The unlimited rice doesn't hurt too.

Went here for their ramen. They should call it Mamen instead. Why? Their ramen tastes like Mami. Give this one a wide berth if you are hankering for cheap ramen.

I don't like Tokyo Tokyo. Well, I used to like it but the affair ended when they replaced meat with grease, and the rice all you can did not compensate for it.

I think it's been more than 2 years since I came back here - and this is only because the crowd I'm with that time majorly wanted to go here. Good thing was I'm not so hungry that time so I was just planning to get snacks.

I didn't know for how long already but I was surprised to see burgers on their menu. So this is where I took a shot. I got myself the "Rising Sun Burger" (something like that) - their own creation of a burger with egg. It came with fries and a drink - so I must say it's a lazy default order.

So the food came in. Packaging was cool. Well, the artwork was cool. Then I opened the box, expecting the rising sun...

What I got was a full moon...

The patty looked boiled/poached... I mean, it's a friggin burger! A little grease was actually tolerable. The texture makes it look like the thing was fresh - fresh from the fridge. A three day old burger McDo would actually look better than this thing. It's a rising sun burger that's not even warm, literally.

But I still gave it a chance. As the cliche goes "don't judge a book by its cover". So after munching down some bites, it's getting more and more close to McDo's hamdesal with egg, which admittedly isn't bad.

I could have finished the whole thing but a few bites before that thing disappears, I'm starting to have "tummy quakes" - and that is not at all good! So I placed what remained of that terrible thing inside its box, closed it, and prayed deeply that it won't ever replicate.... Ever!

So why the three stars?! The fries was great! It was sprinkled with nori, instead of salt. It actually tastes good, and I never really expected that.

If it wasn't for the fries, I would give it negative stars, if looloo would allow!

They should have named that burger "The Harakiri Burger" instead.
