Kinda disappointed by this Braised Pork Ramen (snack size, ₱120) especially its sad-looking thin strip of pork belly. Soup was lacking piquancy, but the noodles were ok and firm. But then, you get what you pay for, right? (Spicy Chicken Ramen pa rin).

Finally tried their Wagyu Burger (Php 160). Sana nga wagyu talgaa, not "wag me" hahaha.

The way the burger looked was rather sad. But in terms of flavor, it was yummy and flavorful enough.. not bland nor teeming with too much flavoring. As for the patty itself, it was soft, something you'd expect from a Wagyu beef. Pero parang masyadong durog... the texture was mealy parang halos Reno liver spread hehehe. Pero sana depende sa branch. I liked the brioche buns a lot... so soft and rather dense and a bit sweet... not dry like the other burger buns I've tried (yep, good buns are also important to me as is the beef patty) :)

We also ordered the Kani Tempura Bento and the Beef Gyudon. Each of these dishes was good for two, so we shared them. Gusto ko ung parang fried kamote nila, or whatever it was. The beef gyudon was also good -- a nice combination of sweet and savory. And the beef pieces were not tough nor melts-in-you-mouth... chewable enough. The fried egg was a great addition to the dish.

Submitted a review before.

My partner loves the ramen ✔✔

Especially the beef. However this time, instead of Karaage for side dish, he ordered Gyoza. Hindi nya gusto yung taste. And if nabasa nyo review ko dto, wala akong gusto sa Tokyo Tokyo. Hindi ko nadin sinbukan yunh Gyoza kasi yung sauce nya is yubg nilalagay nila sa Teriyake nila, which I don't like.

Sa place nila, what I don't like is malangaw. 🚫128514

*PICKY EATER NOTES* 128514128514

So, if you checked my previous reviews veey vocal ako sa pagiging picky ko. Very uncomfortable sakin mag try ng new foods and kumain ng hindi ako familiar.

However, these past few months I've been trying out different food parks, restaurants and cafes.

Here's one.

Tokyo Tokyo.

Nah. Don't like it 128514 I'm pretty sure it's delicious, sa iba 128514 pero sakin hindi (sorry). First ko to and dko sya naubos. Will still give 3 stars kasi nakakain naman ako ng slighy na Karaage and my boyfriend loved the Beef Ramen. (nadelete ko pic nung beef , so seafood yan, twice kasi bnalikan ni jowa yung ramen)

Will recommend the Ramen (sabi ni bf) 127858128149
Karaage was good 128522
Tempura was ok 128513
Onion rings, sakto din daw lang 128516 (di ko dn knakain)

Ambiance ng place, mejo disappointed kasi I'm expecting it to be more classy kasi yun yung nkkta ko sa isang Tokyo Tokyo malapit sa office, but that's fine, sa loob kaai ng mall.

127836🌶 What was the fuss surrounding sriracha? As usual, I'm sort of a "late bloomer" when it comes to food fads. I have never yet tried sriracha in its purest form, but when I saw Tokyo Tokyo's Beef Sriracha ramen I thought it was a chance for me to taste and to know about Sriracha (101) he he.

I ordered that ramen plus with gyoza and drink for a total of ₱205.

My tastebuds were trying to figure out the nuances in the sriracha flavoring. It is said to have hints of other flavors like garlic. But try as I might, it was all in vain lols. Parang ordinaryong chili lang din. The heat (meaning the intensity of the chili) might have overtaken the other flavors which made the soup otherwise bland in comparison. Glad I just ordered the snack size bowl. It was good, but not really made me go wow.

The Spicy Chicken ramen is still tops for me.

I loved their gyoza and especially their red iced tea.

Still, the Spicy Chicken variant is a favorite. It will take me a while before choosing other ramens at Tokyo Tokyo. "Snack" size (₱115) lang busog ka na. 127836128522

My sister and I were stranded during an unexpectedly heavy rain 🌧🌩 last Thursday night that we took shelter inside SM City Taytay, and we were soaking wet as in mga basang sisiw kami. 128166

We were planning to have some coffee but as it turned out, we became famished. Wet, cold and famished. Good thing Tokyo Tokyo now offers ramen in their menu.

I like spicy things plus I needed something not just warm to eat but something "with a kick" also, so I ordered a big bowl of Spicy Chicken Ramen 127836 plus red iced tea and three pieces of gyoza, bundled together as a meal for only ₱235.

My sister, on the other hand, ordered the Prawn Tempura 127844 127857 bento meal (₱170) and red iced tea (₱45).

My Spicy Chicken Ramen was good enough for two persons! The portions of the fried and glazed chicken were big 128561 -- I did not expect that. But I was hungry so I slurped all the way through and ate all the three (I think) big chicken pieces haha. We shared the gyoza, which is said to make a good partner for the ramen. I may not be a connoisseur or whatever it is so as to be unable to know the taste between an authentic gyoza and the not-so-authentic one, but I liked it. It was crunchy and had somewhat an earthy flavor.

Good thing my ramen came in last. I had to do some quick #foodporn pics before enjoying it. It's good to eat the Spicy Chicken Ramen right away while the chicken was still nice and crispy. In hindsight, I could have taken out the chicken first so as to retain its crispiness. I loved the broth too, intensified by the nori soaked in it. The noodles were a bit hard though but the ramen made that up for its crispy, sweet-spicy chicken. 128522

My sister's tempura meal came with an unli rice. No, I couldn't eat prawns though.

Tokyo Tokyo is still consistent with their iced tea, still delicious. They never fail in that. 🙂

I wish for more rainy days as to really enjoy a warm comforting bowl of Tokyo Tokyo's ramen (or any other ramen) 🙂

I think this is only my second time at Tokyo Tokyo right now, so when my order of Asian Spice Chicken Katsu (P169) has arrived I never realize how big it is. Hahaha. The chicken is soooo big that it's even good for two. It is tender and tasty. Glad there is only a cup of rice as I am trying to cut my rice consumption as long as possible (crosses fingers). And there's a coleslaw, so my meal is pretty much balanced.

Servers are polite and my food came relatively quick, so those are plus points!

Beef Misono + Tempura 128523 I love the combination of these two. It never fails to satisfy my stomach! Unlimited rice, but I am always already full with just one 128517

What I didn't liked here was the service. We seated at the back part and I noticed that there are other stuffs placed in there and were not arranged properly. It looked like they just placed it there and did not bothered to arrange it. Very unpleasant for the customers to see. And it's not that clean 128529

They forgot to give tissues, so I asked for it. Then while eating, I was about to take a sip of the Red Iced Tea, but it was not cold so I asked the waiter if I can have some ice, and told me that they ran out of it. 128566 I super do not want to drink iced teas if it's not cold because it becomes too sweet and makes my throat ache. So yeah, not organized, no ice and not so clean. So minus 1 star for that.

Buti na lang masarap yung food 128517128077🏼

I tried the newest on their menu which is the premium beef donbori since I thought kalasa sya ng beef pepper rice, nakakadissapoint sobrang daming pepper and yung sauce nakakaumay. I should have stick with my usual order which is beef misono. 128532

Our family probably been to this place like a ten times already.

We went here last week for family lunch. We had 3 sumo meals and a rice meal for my mom (since she won't be eating too much rice like us hehe).

I just noticed thru the number of times I ate at Tokyo Tokyo, the sumo meal serving just got smaller and smaller. The beef misono used to be a lot and the tempura is not like the one in the picture. I still find it good, its just that the serving keeps going smaller (like pandesal nowadays) .

I just came here for their rice all you can. I ordered their bento meal good for two, it was ok but unfortunately for me when I was asking for a round of rice for the first time the server told me "kaka saing lang po, mga 15 minutes pa po" and I make face because I am really hungry to the point na I'm getting some rice from my son bowl. What's the point of "rice all you can?". Again another disapointing food joint in SM taytay.

It's been decades since the last time I eat in Tokyo Tokyo! This is definitely one of my first love! 128516

Before I become aware with good resto around the metro (college times i think) during my high school days, this is my instant happiness! Ofcourse, as a high school, the price is important to me! Hahah! 128514 And yes, Tokyo Tokyo's bento box really satisfy my cravings without shedding off too much money as a high school student! *throw back?* hahah! 128523

Since I have an errand to do in SM taytay, the closest decent place is Tokyo Tokyo! I ordered their Beef Misono bento! (which is my must order) It's good and satisfying! I also love the Red atchara (?) on top of it! The sour, salty taste it has! Nom! 10084 I wonder if I can ask for additional like that? Then the veggies were sauteed on butter perfectly. Plus their Red Iced tea is a winner for me! (I'm still in a quest figuring out what Red Tea is that one) And to cap of my meal with Coffee Jelly! 128525
