This branch of Tokyo Tokyo was jam packed last Sunday. We were there at around 1.30PM for late lunch, still, it was full, and we were willing to wait in line as my teammates really wanted to eat there.

The place was really small and tight. Tables and chairs were so close to each other that it's kind of hard to move freely. The ventilation's a bit not that good to as I can't feel the coolness of the air con, prolly it was full that's why.

We fell in line and a waitstaff asked for our orders while in line. I ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, upgraded, meaning, with soup, dessert and drinks for almost 270php.

The orders came in a matter of 10 minutes and we ate instantly. The miso soup tasted just OK. I think more tofu shall make this yummier. The bento box was a bit disappointing. The salmon came in 2 small, thin pieces and I didn't like the teriyaki sauce paired with it. Good thing the veggies on the side made things lighter for me. The dulce de leche gelatin dessert was too sweet for me but it's good to remove the taste of the fish.

I was a bit sad to not have enjoyed my Tokyo Tokyo experience here so it might take me a while to check out the place again.

I finally got the chance to try their big chicken katsu. I ordered the teriyaki variant, their best seller according to the cashier. The katsu serving was huge but not as huge as what I saw on their facebook page but that's okay with me, it's still a generous- huge and thick boneless chicken breast fillet. It's crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, sweet and savory with a spicy kick. Mapapakanin ka talaga! The katsu was even served with shredded cabbage and unlimited rice. I liked the shredded cabbage with Japanese mayo. Crab meat na lang kulang Kani salad na yung lasa. Next time I'll try Asian spice.

At first, i loved their cheese tonkatsu. But now, medyo naumay ako.128532 and on this branch, the floors are sticky, aircon not quite cool (need to sit near the aircon pa para malamigan), utensils not really clean, staff not so friendly. I like tokyo tokyo but not this branch. Wish i just ordered their burger.128542

Before going to church, mama and I had lunch at Tokyo Tokyo. I ordered Beef Misono, my favorite large Red tea and mango panna cotta while she ordered Ramen (forgot the name, it's the picture above).

I really like their Beef Misono! But, can you taste the similarity of their beef in Jollibee's? Or is it just me? Hahaha. 128514 the red tea, well, I'm really a fan of their tea.

Mango Panna Cotta is really yummy! It's creamy and has lots of mango bits! Planning of creating one but mine will be Green Tea Mango Panna Cotta. 128514 daming alam. 128514

Well, what made this 4 stars because my mama didn't liked what she ordered. The ramen is too salty and wala nang laman. 128533 kaunti lang. Tsk.

We were drawn here because of the CHEESE TONKATSU and RED ICED TEA! Haha.

Cheese Tonkatsu - The cheese part was a bit like chiz whiz haha! It was good but some parts were hard to slice and chew. It was also falling apart. I liked the breading though! Better than other expensive katsu places I've tried. The cabbage was also good, yabu-ish.

Prawn and Kani tempura - It was okay. Nothing special.

California Maki - Tastewise, it was more than average considering it was only P45 for four pieces. The kani was also big!

The food was mostly just okay but it's cheaper than most Japanese places so for me it's better than okay. But a major downside: MAY IPIS SA WALLS!!!!! 128560128560128560 Minus two stars for this!

This was my first Tokyo Tokyo when I went to Manila exactly a month ago where my friend took me. Since there's no branch yet in Cebu, i really thought this Japanese food chain's expensive and it proved me wrong. Totally affordable and guilt-free. I just wish they'll open a branch in Cebu.
