I know the food presentation in the photo might not be as appetizing for others. Just ignore the uneven cut of the pita bread because it's good!

When on a tight budget, this is a perfect hang out place for college kids and middle age peeps. Food and drinks (alcoholic drinks) are not so expensive.

We ordered spiked quesadilla which was good! And ordered some nachos but it never came. The Rocker dude looked so cool, that he forgot our order. 128526 We wanted to order more from the menu but we just decided to get the bill and eat somewhere else. I asked the staff "kuya nakalimutan mo yung nachos namin no? He smiled and said..."ay oo nga pala." 128517

I'll still come back to try their pasta.

Food- 4 stars
Service- 2 stars for now

Oh yeah, I also like their playlist! They play 90's- early 2000s rock alternative music! 128077🏻

sisig pasta!

the bf and i haven't tried sisig pasta so i asked him to try this place.

we were able to get a parking slot in front of pos building tonight. no customers inside the aircon section of tomato kick. other customer opted to eat/drink alfresco.

the waiters were fast. we got sisig pasta, bacon liempo and the cheesy potato wedges with bacon. food was served in less than 5 min.

sisig pasta was packed with sisig and it's spicy! the pasta was a bit overcooked imo. i would've preferred the sisig bits to have been chopped smaller. sisig in the pasta worked. i thought it would be super nakakaumay but it wasn't.

bacon liempo with rice was served with house salsa. the bf liked it. potato wedges with bacon was okay. the cheese they used was so so but it still worked.

serving was generous for it's price. i find the price really affordable. experience was okay. resto vibe was cool. industrial theme with band names on the rugged wall. i think bands perform here too coz there's a drum set inside the resto. playlist tonight were mostly ska pinoy ska and pinoy bands song covers.

Drinks come cheap and we had the place to ourselves on a Monday late night. The nachos were good and so was the bacon potato wedges. They serve the beer really cold- almost below zero. Cool place to hang out.

I was craving for Liempo Bacon so I explored Looloo and found Tomatokick. I was really surprised to discover that aside from an inuman place, they also serve delicious food.

Though I must admit the Liempo didn't reach my expectations since I was expecting for a thinner, crispier one. Anyway, my friend ordered Pesto Marinara and it was great. Loved the Cheesey Bacon Potato Wedges too, perfect match for an ice cold beer!

Last night we capped off the week with TomatoKick once again. Craved for their dishes and invited my friends to try the place.

This time we tried different orders so that we can taste each. I tried their Puttanesca. The pasta at least was not swimming in oil unlike my last visit with their Seafood Marinara. My EP tried the Crispy Bacon Liempo but this time she had it with aglio olio pasta instead of rice. The pasta had the right amount of saltiness and garlic flavor. The Pesto Aligue pasta which my other friend ordered was delightfully healthy as it is smothered by pesto. So the sinful and high bloody feeling afterwards would not kick in that much since the pesto balanced the aligue taste. If you want a bit spicy you can try the Sisig Pasta, creamy white sauce smothered with Pinoy sisig and chili garlic. Bagnetsilog's sinangag is too salty for me. The bagnet also I think was overfried. The color was darker than it should be and the texture became a little hard. Still, the bagnet's taste was still delicious amidst it being toasted.

Fridays here let the young crowd flock. They have a band setup inside the small space where the guest performers sing reggae, rap, and r&b genres to the customers. This explains the artsy look of the place and the people who come here.

To cap off last Wednesday night, my friends and I went to eat dinner at TomatoKick, one of the most talked about hang out place in the metro located at 3F of Pos Bldg. beside Il Terrazzo, Tomas Morato.

It's not my first time here since my friends usually drink a bottle or two if we want to kill time once in awhile but I think it's my first time to try out their menu.

I ordered Seafood Marinara and it was almost perfect if not for the too much oil in it. For a measly price you get to enjoy a plate full of pasta and seafood toppings fair enough to fill your hungry tummy. My friends get to order the Crispy Bacon Liempo and the Salsa Pork Liempo. Loved how their simple dish turn out to be so delicious. Worth the experience!

Tried it with my dad a week ago, for the first time. We both thought the food was delicious, but I thought the food portions could've been a bit better for the value.

Tried TK for the first time and I liked it! Not bad naman, very very laid back vibe! Cement on the floors, rock-inspired walls, wooden benches and plastic chairs! Very "kanto" inuman style, but in a nice new building in the heart of Timog, so who are we kidding about that... I suppose they want to mirror the vibe of their other branches (though I haven't been there, assuming lang).
Fried fried fried food on the menu! Cheap pulutan style food and cheap booze! No frills, but good flavor!128074

I like the interior. Clean. The artwork on the wall is quite nice. Nachos and potato wedges were mediocre but the fish taco's really good! Beer's cold and service is slow.

Surprised it wasn't crowded for a Saturday. But calm and quiet is good.

Oh, they close at 2am and they don't have wifi.
