Undoubtedly the best palabok place i can recomend. The place is unsightly but what you really go for in this place is their specialty which is their palabok. The palabok is served on a banana leaf with a serving that is good for one. The palabok had a thick orange yellow sauce which was topped in chicharon bits. The flavors were great the sauce was nice and thick enough to cover the noodles perfectly and the chicharon didnt over power the flavors by not being to salty. Its not bad considering it only costs 60 pesos i partnered it with their pork BBq which was alright. One thing i didnt like about the place was how slow their service were. Their were at least 8 of us who came in there and by the time the last guy was able to make an order more than half of us were already done eating. But i cant complain much considering how good the food is. I would recommend the kaldereta as well which some say is also good. Probably my next order the 2nd time around i come to tonangs again.

This place has been a family's favorite. My dad would buy palabok here once in a while and even ulam if my mom's out or too tired (lazy) to cook.

Tonang's is a classic, we have it here in Mandaluyong for as long as I can remember. If you're up for some filipino foods, this place might be for you.

They're known for their palabok. It's oozing with flavor and always freshly made so they serve it hot. Other than palabok, they also serve spaghetti and other pancit, so as different kinds of filipino viands. My favorite is their dinuguan and lumpiang togue, the best!

Since I haven't tried their spaghetti, it's what I ordered for merienda. It was good, classic filipino spaghetti, manamis namis! Meaty and flavorful. But the serving's kind of small. But for 70 pesos, okay na din.

I'm lucky it's just a few blocks from our home. So whenever I would want some palabok or anything on their menu, I could just walk and be satisfied.

The best Pancit palabok in the Metro (IMHO).

Tonang's Pancit Palabok is an institution in the Mandaluyong area. The secret of their Pancit has been handed down through generations. It is usually a staple dish for any celebration---birthdays, fiestas, baptism, etc. I grew up eating this Pancit at my grandparents' home.

Why do I think it's the best Pancit palabok in the Metro? They make their noodles . They top this with a generous serving of flavorful, thick palabok sauce. The sauce isn't the watered-down sauce made red with just achuete red coloring and thickened with cornstarch.

Tonang's sauce is talagang malasa and the color is richer than the other commercially available palabok. You could taste the shrimp and meat broth flavors in the sauce . The garnishings are hefty. Generous slices of hard-boiled egg and squid slices. Further topped with a good mix of ground minced meats--- tinapa, dried shrimps, chicharon.

It's a good thing that they deliver to nearby areas like Makati, Pasig, Sta Ana, San Juan, Qc.
