We saw the "Buy 1 Take 1 California maki every Tuesday" sign so hubby Ron H and I went it. 128513

One order of maki is already good for 2 (8pcs). So with the promo, we have 16 pcs 128561 I CAN FINISH IT ALL in an instant IF it was good. Unfortunately, I think the rice or mango was too sour. 128532

The ramen was too salty! But since I was already hungry, I finished my order haha! I used the soup as my "chaser" daw sa sobrang asim na maki.

Our maki and ramen orders arrived promptly but when we asked for a service tea, I think the waitress forgot about it. We even have to follow it up with another waiter. there were only 4-6 customers that time ha!

I love Spicy Tuna Salad and I like their version because of the crispy kani that gives it texture. Salmon belly yakimono and crunchy crab maki was good too. It's a place to satisfy your Japanese craving but it's just quite average.

This is near my work so this can be my go-to place for my maki cravings. The Cheesy Salmon Roll and Crunchy Crab Roll were fairly good.

The ONLY thing we liked here was their nachos. Yes, nachos in a japanese restaurant. 128546128078 BUT HEY, THEIR NACHOS WAS REALLY GOOD 128077

PS. This is a very late post 128586

No frills kind of Japanese dining, I loved every bit of the space they offer their loyal customers! I veered away from my usual Katsudon to try their Tempura, Tonkatsu, California Maki, and an assortment of Sushi. I highly recommend this place if you want to have casual conversations with friends and families over really delicious and filling Japanese food. 128076

Are here for a quick snack with the wifey. Ordered katsudon and my wife ordered crunchy crab roll. My wife just found it ok, I thought my katsudon was alright as well. Nothing spectacular but decent.
I have to point out tho the almost non existent service. The service staff needs to pay more attention to their customers. We were the one of two tables. The service was horrible!... Sorry there was no service at all. Quick example they failed to offer us water and we had to ask for it ourselves. I hope they tackle this issue as soon as possible. Based on other looloo reviews, their service definetely needs improvement.

It was lunch time, and i still had a long day ahead. So i ordered katsudon and gyoza for the sides. Taste wasn't that amazing, and the food experience isn't as authentic. Gyoza lacked the umami punch in it while the katsu lacked the onomiyake resemblance. But id still give this place a second shot soon.

Taste good for hungry peeps like us, looking for a food to eat in the middle of the night. What I like, their food served in bigger portion.

The place is nice but the quality of the food wasn't all too great. Texture wasn't too great, katsudon was salty... Mom and I will not be coming back.

3rd time here. Hoomans having maki after maki after maki and beers. Still no efforts from the servers to offer me anything. At least the fan outside is all mine. Wind blown.

We always sit facing the now demolished NBC Tent. So there are always leaves and things falling from the tree to keep me distracted. I bark at passersby coz I'm still a pup while my hoomans eat their favorite crunchy maki rolls.

As a huge fan of Japanese food, this resto was a disappointment. We ordered the Kani Salad (veggies were old), Salmon and Cream Cheese Maki (too much rice, too little cream cheese, poor salmon quality), Gyudon (beef was tough), and the worst was the Okonomiyaki that was so full of flour, my mom had to bring it back to the chef.

Gyoza was okay, but then who could possibly mess up a Gyoza?

Went to eat here before prive. Food was forgettable. At least the one I had.

While our female companions were apparently chatting with Sam Milby, I was trying to control the situation that I put myself and my brother in. Lol. Had to clean up all the mess the day after. Never again.

Mirienda with my girlfriend, decided to have some Japanese food. What we have are salmon sashimi, California maki and gyoza. Good food but nothing special and slow service. 9786

Since i dont have photos of the food we ordered, posting this picture with the girlfriends (which i haven't seen in a very long time) instead.

Lets make this one brief. 128522

Food - ordered Okonomiyaki, California maki and salmon sushi + beers (the last one i have nothing to say since I'm no drinker). Taste and quality were just average for me, nothing really remarkable.

Place - located at Fort Strip. We stayed outside, i noticed the inside interior though and it looked more of a bar than a japanese resto because of the dim lighting, but it looks pretty good overall.

Price - Sakto lang.

Service - Average.

Too bad i wasn't able to have a taste of even one of their meals like Beef Gyudon or something.

PS. The additional 1 star is for the lovely time i had with my friends. 128521
