Enjoying a very limited time in Cebu, manong driver offered to drive us to Tops, like around 3-4am hehehe 12852210084128077🏻 Wow. 12852210084128077🏻Breath-taking panorama of the city, beats seeing the view from a high-rise building, since you could feel the fresh breeze and enjoy the surrounding nature 12852210084128077🏻 enjoying the view with our baon, a box of pizza from Pizzeria Michelangelo 12852210084128077🏻 I saw some dining stalls beside the circular picnic arcade, I guess they are operational during daytime 128522

I can't go around Cebu much because of work, so I really like it when I get visitors cause I'm "forced" to travel on account of entertaining. 128569

It's nice to know that in Cebu, if you want to see the City skyline, a good 15 minutes drive is enough. My sister and I went here to Tops and just stayed here for a good one hour just to take in the beauty of the urban island. Cebu sure is breathtaking!

TIP: Best to come here in your own car, or hire a car to wait for you. No taxi drivers in their right mind wait here or drive nearby. Otherwise, you'll have to go down on a "habal-habal" and mind you, the roads are dead steep. 128576

On the day of our departure from Cebu, my brother contacted a Van service to bring us to the Temple of Leah. We were picked up from our hotel by Manong Noel at exactly 6AM. We told him that we are leaving by around afternoon and that we only stayed for 1 day in Cebu.

He offered to bring us to the TOPS Mountain View without additional fee. He said he wants us to experience the overlooking view of the entire Cebu and at least we could tell that Cebuanos are kind-hearted. While on the way, he served as our tour guide and shared some trivia about the city.

It felt like going up to Baguio City. The curves and turns of the road was unpredictable, but Manong Noel is obviously familiar with the place.

It was Monday morning so we were the only people there. TOPS is located in Brgy. Busay, Cebu. Entrance Fee is Php100/pax. The view was breath-taking and we were thankful that Manong Noel brought us here. There are few restaurants, but I believe they are only open at night, which I plan to try on my next visit.

There is an old Bell situated at the left side of the TOPS. They said lovers ring the bell for a stronger and everlasting relationship. Sad that the string is no longer there.
One thing that also caught our attention was the time-machine like dining area. These are round structured stones that creates illusion.

My brother and I took a buwis-buhay shot at the top of the Tops! Be extra careful when you do it! This is absolutely a must visit when in Cebu. I'm happy that I was able to visit here given that it is my first time in Cebu. My brothers have been here for several times, but they did not know about this place. 128514128514128514

We stayed here for around 30 minutes. We also had a quick stop-over for photo ops on our way down to the Temple of Leah. It was a great view of mountains and clouds! Indeed, Cebuanos are very hospitable and kind!!! 128537128537128537

Great place to have a perfect view of Cebu City!!!!
Entrance fee is php100 each. There were several stores where you can buy drinks and food. Drinks though is quite pricey, but the view will compensate. Nothing to do here aside from drinking/eating while enjoying a good view.
Booze + great company + good view = 10084127749

I've lived in Cebu almost all my life and I don't know what it is about this place. It's just a look-out, but there's something special or something so different from being down on the ground that makes this my favorite thing to do when I'm alone.

Perfect view from the city. Tops has an entrance fee of 100 per person, but you will surely enjoy the place plus the weather. Mode of transportation in going there is thru private vehicle, motorcycle or taxi.

THIS.IS.A.MUST.VISIT !!

Yesterday around 4:30pm just at the brink of sunset, we, cousins and relatives visited the highest point of the city. It is a must visit place here 128077🏻. Awarded with a Best of Cebu places to visit, I definitely recommend to visit around this time.

Getting here can be done in 3 ways - 1) Private car [recommended, cheap and you get to visit nearby places such as - Lantaw Busay, Temple of Leah, and Chateau de Busay] 2) Habal-habal [riding a motorcycle, find it a bit dangerous because the road going up and down is very steep] 3) Taxi [expensive because you need to have them wait for you as there is no other mode of transpo going back to the city except habal-habal ride 128521]

At the viewing area, there is also some restaurants just in case you fancy dining there, while enjoying a cool-Tagaytay-like-breeze. 9729️🌬 At 5pm, the air starts to get cooler, so I suggest to bring a jacket/cardigan. 🌬

Entrance fee: 100php; Seniors get 50% off. 128522

#WhenInCebu

We went to Cebu last year to explore the beautiful City of Cebu and Island of Bantayan. We hired a driver that served as our travel guide as well. By the way, you will find it hard to communicate with them in neither Tagalog nor English language specifically in Cebu City since most of their locals speak Bisaya only. Luckily, Kuya Toto, our driver knows how to speak Tagalog.

TOPS was not included in our itinerary but Kuya Toto was very accommodating. He allowed us to see the beauty of Cebu City. It is one of the tourist attractions in Cebu that offers a romantic view of Cebu City and Mactan Island. It was foggy that day and our camera was not able to capture the view very well.

If you will visit TOPS, I recommend a night visit so you can see the night light of Cebu. 128522
