Bought the classic chocolate cake for my Dad's birthday. He loves it because it's not too sweet, I on the other hand is not much of a fan of their cakes. But I like it that it comes with a free knife and 5 colored candles :)

My bestfriend bought me a cake as a surprise for my birthday. I think it was a mousse cake. Cakes of Tous Les Jour nevel fails with its cute designs and tasty flavour.

CUTE!!! Love the way they decorate their cakes! It's true that the best way to attract people to try your cooking is by the eyes (aside from the nose). If people see how appetizing it is, they get curious and try it out. It's my first time to buy something there, though I've always seen this place. I decided to purchase a cake for my baby girl. Aside from the looks, it taste great. Not too sweet...just right! Which is how I Like cakes to be. If you're on the go, you don't need to worry about finding a knife to slice your cake since they provide plastic knives. Though their pastries and cakes are abit pricey, I wouldn't mind buying from them once in a while...especially their cute cakes for my baby girl. 128525

The pizza toast was lovely to look at. That's about it.

On the other hand, the gift cake was good. It was chocolatey but not too sweet.

We started buying TLJ cakes when Kandyce was a few months old. Their cakes look very nice and so is the packaging! Very ideal as a gift for special occasions. They offer free candles (I think they give out a max of five free cake candles) and these are not just ordinary candles - they're looong candles (around 6 inches)!!! Like other bake shops, putting greetings on the cake is absolutely free! - and they do have really nice chocolate chips where they can put (write) the greeting :-)

This is our first dine-in at TLJ and the experience was good :-) we picked breads from their 'gallery' and chose the ff:
> custard cream bread (at P38)
> sweet black rice bread with black sesame cream cheese (P48)
> and custard cream pastry (P38)

All were really good! We got their 8oz Cafe Americano (P78) and initially thought that the brew was a little pale but eventually turned out well after we put creamer and sugar. It is worth noting that they really put attention to the detail of their products as even the creamer is well pscked. Medyo matapang yung coffee at first sip but we found it was just right after we finished it up.

TLJ stores are designed as buy and go stores hence seats are very limited. This branch at Festival has around 12 seats only. What I like about this branch is that it seems to have more cakes than either ATC or Greenbelt stores. The cake gallery can easily be seen from the window beside the store (facing Almon Marina).

Overall, though we have no favorites yet, we always liked TLJ's breads as they seem to be baked with care and precision (mix, look and taste are always high quality). We'll keep coming back to TLJ :-)

Their sourdough bread is not sourdough. :( It was very dense and chewy in a bad way. I hope the rest of their bread is unlike this one.
