Liked that it's fluffy and not too sweet.
but I wonder why I can't taste the cream cheese or have I just got used to that kinda sour taste of cream cheese in cheesecakes.lols

Got this for Php 78.00
Not bad for 2 pcs of muffin 🙂

We bought this cake for a birthday celebrant. At the counter we were offered the happy birthday candles but it made the cake look cheap! I removed it and so we have the holes on the cake, as you can see in the picture. I'm so heartbroken128547

The cake was just okay. They said it's pure belgian chocolate but this cake is actually more on sponge cake. The icing was not really enough for the sponge cake. It's very thin, i couldnt taste much of the icing.

But the older girls liked it, it was not too sweet! :)

I'm a macaron fan so I tried out theirs when I saw they sell macarons too.

The pack I bought was supposed to be assorted flavor BUT when I tasted it.. Everything tasted the same. I cant even tell what flavor it is. Lol.

Pricey and not worth the calories.

Might just try their cakes/ breads next time.

Dad's birthday cake! It was sooo sooo good. Very chocolatey. Loved their packaging as well, innovative I must say. What's even nicer is that it comes with cake knife and five tiny candles.

Minus one star for the acrid smell of their store. Hindi amoy bakery. 128555

Double cheese (98)
With soft brioche, taste the sweet choux cream with cream cheese inside

Croque Monsieur (98)a cheesy sweet and salty toasted ham and cheese sandwich that was too tough

Mini sausage pastry (28) was typical

Ofcourse I am biased because this one is a present from mon amour. 12851310084

It's a cute bear dome chocolate cake. 128513 I am not really familiar with cakes but I'll try my best to describe it for you. The outer layer is more or like a velvety glossy chocolate fondant. The cake is soft chocolate with chocolate filling. The design itself was eye catching because it's bear like. I like that they also include these candles and a knife. And you can put greetings on your cake.

tous les jour had been our favorite cake shop since last year.. we were happy that they have opened an additional branch here in glorietta.. last friday, my friend bought this "strawberry inspiration" cake for my birthday... the strawberries inside the cake balances the sweetness of the cake, perfectly combined with its yoghurt cream icing. There's really something special with their cakes!
..One thing i wish though is for them to have a space with enough tables & chairs inside their shop where people could dine in & enjoy a slice of their cake:)

I first tried this during my first visit in Seoul last year. I loved their buns so i was so happy to see their branches here in Manila. I dropped by their Glorietta branch trying to look for the bread in the photo-- Walnut Red Bean bun. (Hello Peanut D!128517) It's a bun filled with red bean paste with a big walnut on top 128513 Unfortunately, I didn't see it. They prolly do not offer it here. 128532 I didn't get anything na, but I have to go back to try their stuff and compare it with the ones in Seoul. Their cakes look cute too!128059

I bought my cousin their chocolate cake for his birthday because it's one of their few products that got high marks here. Their prices are actually pretty cheap (I was expecting around 1k) and now I know why. The cake was average. It wasn't too sweet, which I liked, but that's about it. It's texture was literally like a firm sponge (the one you clean plates with 128561). Chocolate cakes are supposed to be moist and rich right? I guess they missed the memo on this dry, sad number. I've tried their apple-shaped (strawberry?) cake before, and I liked that one better. The only downside was the overwhelming amount of icing, but I'll take that cake over this one any day.

I'll give them a three because they gave me a free heart-shaped cookie lollipop (which was yummy) and the cake was pretty.

A plump, golden, petit shell-shaped French pastry with a rich taste similar to a sponge cake but crumbly like a tea cookie. A genoise batter is used, where simple ingredients like eggs, sugar, sifted flour, vanilla take the center lead and butter is generously folded into the mixture to achieve its trademark hue. It requires the pastry chef's mindfulness to meticulously mix it until to a smooth and fluffy consistency without over mixing the batter. A surprisingly simple approach yet so difficult to perfect, just similar in creating French macarons.

Their madeleines' flavor and aroma were acceptable but the texture was not, it was dense and beyond any doubt didn't spring back when lightly touched. Old Marcel who said, "One bite is a full-body flood of fabulous sensation", must surely be disappointed too.

They should grow a Venus Flytrap in the store, there is a swarm of those pesty flies hovering over the cashier area... Just imagine their enthusiasm in seeing those uncovered trays of bread...128513

*Picture was taken from home. 128522 Not as satisfying as it looks!
