I get super duper excited when I'm invited to an event that's going to be held at a buffet. I mean who doesn't love free unlimited food?! 128523128523128523 But when I found out it was going to be at Tramway, I dialed down my excitement. There were some bad reviews and some bad hearsays from friends so I didn't expect much.

What I ate: Steamed Fish, Pancit Canton, Sweet and Sour fish, Fried Chicken, Lumpia and Siomai.
My verdict: Everything was good!!! 128077128076

My favorite was the siomai. I wanted to eat more of it but I got super full right away. I was satisfied in terms of quality and quantity but I wasn't completely mindblown so 4 stars for now.. Then I asked my friend the price here per person... P205 ONLY!!! So for the more than average unlimited food at an incredibly low price... 5 STARS!!!

i think i expected too much from this place, i have yakimix ang sambokujin as reference. this supposedly buffet and teahouse concept looks more like an upend carinderia.

One Tuesday evening at 7-8pm, while looking for a place to eat, we happened to pass by this resto and what caught our attention was the lowest price i've seen for a buffet-dinner which was 205.00 pesos only. There were at least 9 kinds of viands to choose from, purely chinese food that includes sweet and sour pork, spring roll, big steamed fish, fried chicken, squid and others i cannot remember anymore. They have egg soup, congee with tenga ng baboy and century egg(my favorite) ?and Green Salad. Surprisingly, at this very reasonable price, i found Siomai and California Maki too. But what i'm soo happy about is the unending supply of red, sweet watermelons which i love, plus a variety of other fruits as well.

The original Tramway, one of the cheap buffet restaurants. My last visit in a Tramway restaurant was a few months ago, and it was pretty much forgettable.

Visiting the original place is somewhat another chance for them to redeem themselves, and they did not disappoint. Well, not much.

For starters, compared to the larger places, the place is well managed and the food quality is much better. Most of the items on the buffet is palatable, well except for their vegetables and century egg. Their meatloaf topped with egg is tasty, so is their signature fish and fried chicken. As for the quantity, they continuosly monitor and refill the items that are out of stock. And they also offered more fish since that tends to run out very quickly.

Maybe it's the fact that they have few customers that day that somewhat made it very managable for them, but there's no excuse for the better food quality.

Recommended if you wanna have a full belly at a low price. Juat avoid it during the weekends or you'll see more people than food in that place.
