1. Located in Laguna Central just next to Paseo de Sta. Rosa.

2. I went there in the morning when the cafe just opened. I think I was one of the three customers there at that time. The cafe had a relaxed and cozy ambiance, the interiors were looking pretty sophisticated too.

3. It was first time to taste the French macaron (as you can see my bite of it in the pic). It was soooo good! I loved the texture too. Now I realized why they're a bit pricey. Macarons are made of egg whites, not flour as I previously thought. The texture was a bit like merengue but also different on its own too.

4. The hazelnut frappuccino was too sweet for me. But I loved the salted caramel chocolate cake. It just had the right sweetness and was delectably moist.

5. Service was particularly good. And it had a free WiFi too.

Hubby and I went here after looking for a place to chill-out after our usual grocery day. 128522

The place has a cozy ambiance. I like their corner areas with comfy seats where big groups can lounge. Though, the power outlets on the corners weren't working that time so for those who want to charge their gadgets, Better stay on the tables near the cashier.

They have around 8 choices of cake that day. I ordered the red velvet cake while hubby ordered the chocolate cake (forgot the specific name though) and a cup of latte.

I was a bit disappointed with the red velvet cake because I really thought the frosting was cream cheese (I even asked the staff twice, and he said yes its cream cheese 128530) Choco cake was just ordinary too.

They also offer sandwiches and might try it on our next grocery day 128516

We normally pass by this place and really had no plans to dine. But what the heck, we tried having desserts for tonight. Got the Belgian Chocolate slice & Chocolate Mousse slice. The belgian was a bit dry and hard. Was not able to taste the chocolate mousse but my daughter said it was just ok.

Came back because of their free wifi! 128540

I don't know why I'm feeling a disconnect between their pricing and my over-all feel of the place. Menu says, P288 for this entire meal of Penne Pasta in tomato meat sauce with potato sidings, one piece of garlic bread and the iced tea. However, that's exclusive of tax and I only found out upon payment. So everything actually comes out to a little over P300. Didn't expect that... 128528

I always pass by this place but never had the guts to try it out until I saw that last review. They seem to have a little of a lot: cakes, cupcakes, muffins, pastries, macaroons, ice creams, coffee, hot meals.

Had the peanut butter cupcake. It wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be which is a good thing but I felt like I was trying to look for the flavor?128528

A scan through the other tables though makes me want to try their other offerings next time. Yeah, haha, I do that. Is that being rude? 9786

But, what sets it apart really is the free, and fast, wifi! 128077

I was hoping to get a pint of twix ice cream in shopwise but to no avail. I decided to try this bakery/cafe to appease my disappointment and my tired feet from window shopping. Tristian's Menu offers breakfast, espresso, teas, chocolate drinks, ice blended beverages, pasta, bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, wraps, salads, ice cream and sorbets. 128524

For this visit, I got a piece of their donut custard (P55) and espresso praline ice cream (P85). Both were just okay. The donut was soft and tasted like it was just freshly baked but I got sad with the custard inside. It's not sweet enough to be called a custard. More of a bavarian filling if you ask me and I'm not a fan.128532

The ice cream easily melts and some might find this too sweet for their liking. Probably because of the praline? I was able to bear with it since I'm into sweets. 128521

I'm rating three stars for now but I might give this place a second chance. Call it a hunch? 128515

Good place to hang out. It's quiet and not crowded (except when there's brownout and everyone's outside). Plus there's free wifi and unlike in other places, their wifi actually works. The food is very pricey but worth it; it's just that they charge you extra for the service so if you order something at Php250, you'll have to pay more than that.

I love their lasagna with meat sauce, and I always order something that has the potato salad. I wish they have a separate item for the potato salad because it tastes really, really good. One turnoff is that the outlets near the comfy chairs aren't working, so if you really need to charge your things bring an extension cord hahaha.

The staff are usually friendly; one time though, my sister and I stayed there for like 5 hours because it was brownout in our house. We ordered 3 full and expensive meals so that at least we wouldn't feel bad for just using their electricity. But then when we finally went out they didn't thank us 128532 I observed that they thanked almost all the customers that went out. But not us. Hey, we ordered three meals, and that's almost 1k for 2 people!
