It might not be much on the eyes, but I tell you, TROPICAL HAMBURGER remains to be among the better burgers I've ever had here or all over the world. 127828127828127828

So this is their Double patty version at about PhP 200 for a meal of this, their fries and a drink. It may look pale but it captures the winning taste of a Tropical Hamburger that basically beats all fast food burgers in the country. The closest thing to it is perhaps Jollibee's Champ.

Through the years, their fries 127839 have become just okay while Jollibee basically adapted Tropical's former awesome crispy fries. Too bad.

It's rare that I'm impressed by their service, which is decent or passable at best. And their stores have basically been run down and poorly maintained. So not much on the ambience front.

Luckily, somehow, and perhaps owing to their sister company Mercury Drug, Tropical still lives, and Manila is the better for it. 128514128522128513

Millennials and Gen Z better get acquainted and appreciate this bad boy. 127828

I still believe that they have the best fastfood burgers. Tropical Hut Cheeseburger and Clubhouse Sandwich FOR THE WIN. Every bite feels so nostalgic it brings you back to your childhood. Their chicken is good too, and the size is way bigger than Jollibee or McDonald. Although I think their food is great, it would really be great if they would renovate their branches and innovate their marketing strategy.

In a time where business is very competitive, they need to make people remember how great their food is.
