After we had our dinner at Katsu Sora last May 23 at Katsu Sora in Eastwood because it was my father in law bday celebration.

Before going home I decided to invite my family , hubby and kids Adelheid L Latrell Joshua L the teens Looloo family members, to join me for a coffee. I was craving for Tsokolate a long time ago and finally they have here. Located at G/F The Excelsior Eastwood.

It was a perfect evening as it was bit raining. I had their best seller Tsokolate Ah Batirol for only 90 pesos while the rest go for cool frappes. They have breads and cakes here too and looks good, will try it next time.

Service was fast and they have wifi 128077 Their Tsokolate won't disappoint you. Perfect drink for rainy days9749

They are currently on promo the "SEAFOOD, SOULFOOD". All their pasta with seafood only now costs php69 valid all day from March 1 to April 18, 2016 but only available for dine in.
I ordered their spaghetti aligue. Pasta topped with aligue sauce. It was just okay. It was tasty, not malansa but nakakaumay. This restau can only accommodate i think 10-15 pax. Mej masikip and mainit sa loob. 128545

My third visit in less than a month and for a different reason: promo!

This branch has a "Seafood, Soulfood" promo for Lent wherein you can eat three of their pasta dishes -- Seafood Marinara, Tuna Carbonara and Spaghetti Aligue (pictured here) -- for Php 69.00 each! Yep, Php 69.00 only. Minor catch: the promo is for dine-in orders. I'm not complaining though.

And because I was happy with my Spaghetti Aligue lunch, I'm going back to try out the rest before the promo ends on April 18, 2016.

I had lunch here a few days ago and ordered my usual fare (Chicken Roll and Sampaloc Swing). This time, I added dessert and this Yema Sans Rival was so yummy. I loved it!

If I want to eat good yet affordable food, this place is definitely on my list. It's been a while since I've eaten at this branch thus it was comforting to order my favorite dishes (Chicken Roll and Malunggay Pesto with Shrimp). What surprised me was the Sampaloc Swing (pictured here). I really love this drink. I'm surprised though that it is not offered openly nor advertised on its overhead menu board. For Php 165, the Sampaloc Swing can quench the thirst of 4 persons; it has the right balance of tart and sweet.

I'm looking forward to my next visit so that I can order the Sampaloc Swing again.

Ahhh, the foods are reasonably priced (they have rice meal, pasta and cakeeess!) and they taste good! 128079128079128079

However, their current place at Excelsior is soo small! It can hold up to around 15 people inside 128517. Hope their new store at citiwalk will be finished soon! That one seems to be bigger!

I ate here for the first time last week. I ordered the malunggay pesto shrimp pasta. It was quite good, but there were only four pieces of shrimp in it. The tsokolate ah was decent. I ordered another, this time the tsokolate with cashew. While drinking, I was wondering where the cashew went, I could barely taste it. When I was almost finished, there was a thick sludge in the bottom that barely tasted of cashew and the consistency was almost like a paste. It was a little disgusting. I wonder if they used cashew powder or overly-ground cashew nuts. Either way, it wasn't good. Stick with the plain tsokolate ah. Prices were reasonable. I'd go here once in a while when I need a tablea choco fix.

TThird time to visit this place and I just wanna try their Beef Tapa. I could say that this one has a different taste. Medyo manamis namis compare to the other tapa's I've tried. Yun nga lang, it didn't have egg which isn't complete for the set of Tapsilog. The price is quite good for P130.00.

This was my second visit to Tsoko Nut Batirol and I have a different dining experience again. 128517

PLACE and LOCATION: Eastwood Excelsior Branch

FOOD and PRICE: By this time, I tried their Creamy Pesto Malunggay Pasta (P115.00) and Graham Shake (P105.00). The taste of the pasta is quite good. It was really weird that I ordered Pesto and yet I had this 'umay' taste on the sauce. I don't like pesto talaga. I just tried this and I was expecting a different twist but it didn't have any. I didn't finish my meal and gave half of my food to my friend haha! Good thing, I ordered the Graham Shake and it was really yummy! Pambawi lang. Rich taste and different into my usual drinks.

Sorry but three 110881108811088 only. 128557

A friend recommended this place for me to try the "Aligi Pasta" but I am hesitant because I might get an allergy. Maybe some other time 128513

PLACE: Small and limited to few diners only. I don't know but there is something smelly inside the store but ain't that bad. 128513

FOOD: I had Chunky Pasta and it was really saucy and tasty! Swak for the pasta. And since it was hot, I matched it with Watermelon Shake. Yummy! Perfect for the lazy afternoon weather.

PRICE: Chunky Pasta P115.00 and Watermelon Shake P72.00

LOCATION: Eastwood Excelsior, just beside Nailaholics and Subway

Days when you don't have enough budget to eat on a fancy resto, Tsko-nut batirol is the place to be 128513 We tried their pasta aligue & shrimp pesto for a price of 120pesos/each 128077

The lady server / cashier was a little bit grumpy. My friend said she was like that even before she was still pregnant 128078

All-time favorite: Creamy Pesto Malunggay. Their drinks are good as well, like the Tsokolate Ah Batirol.
