Decided to eat in RCBC and tried Tsoko Nut Batirol. I ordered the seafood marinara for P135, not bad for the price!

I'm really a tsoko nut! I went back yday because of my tsokolate batirol craving. I had the pesto with shrimp and malunggay. It was awesome! The sansrival was okay too.

I'm a b-i-g fan of the traditional hot chocolate drink our grannies used to make and their version brought me so close to home. Nothing wow with tuna funtasia but the pesto pasta is good.

Merienda time! Had this Tablea Combo worth P170, and it was worth it. The Tablea Cake Mini wasn't that sweet, and was a little warm on the inside. It paired well with the Kape Barako. Good combo on this gloomy afternoon 128523

This place is super! I never thought there is a place like this in RCBC. A place with traditional Filipino dishes and my favorite champorado made of tablea! (Sorry no pic of champorado, I just had to dig in128556)

So we ordered:
Chicken Roll - tasted ordinary for me but not all bad.

Spaghetti Aligue - tasted great! There is a calamansi to add a little tang to the taste, same as how we eat aligue. However, the bread did not compliment the pasta. 128151128151128151

Champorado - The bittersweet taste of tablea chocolate is very evident. Served with a bit of condenced milk on top and a separate milk to pour. 128077128151

Ice tea - Not just your ordinary iced tea, creamy looking and tasted fruitcy. I liked it!

Will go back to try Tsokolate de batirol 9749️ and Pesto Malunggay.

I often go to Tsoko Nut Batirol in RCBC when I work overtime for a quick dinner since it's just a few steps away from our office. The ambience is very Pinoy, with old-looking tables and chairs.

My favorite dish is the Chicken Roll stuffed with ham and cheese, and served with rice and gravy (photo shown). I match it with the creamy Tsokolate Ahh, which reminds me of Noli Me Tangere. As a finale, my usual dessert is the Chocolate Mousse Cupcake although their bestseller dessert is the Tablea Cake.

Tsoko Nut will always be one of my favorite hang-outs!
