Tsujiri Sundae. You start working from the peak of the dessert, that very first bite, you realise how rich the matcha flavour is. Being a seasoned pirate, you can sense ginto: the cup definitely hides treasures at the very bottom. You continue digging. No, just stop asking and continue digging, my friend.

While digging through the Sundae you spot a tiny mochi ball. Put it in your mouth and continue digging. Hmm... what's that? A chest...nut! Yarrr! It's not a real treasure but still a nice surprise. I mean, who doesn't love mochi? Just put it in your mouth as well and continue your hard job.

Halfway through the Sundae you notice some strange black seashells. You taste one piece... No, those are not seashells. That's rice! Stir it well to mix it together with the matcha goo. Don't look at me, you can finish this. Yes, go on...

What? Already finished and there's no treasure at the bottom? Sinungaling ba ako?! You silly, the treasure is already in your stomach. That dessert *is* a treasure.

I can finally state that my matcha quest is over... That was really something! I took great delight in eating it. This place is better than heaven. Because there's no matcha in heaven.

P.S. Kumain ako sa Power Plant Mall, walang lugar sa website na ito kasi ang branch ay bagong bago.

I was overtly eager to try the Matcha Jelly Sundae that I forgot to take a pic before ruining it with a spoon. Everything at the top from the jellies, matcha ice cream, shiratama dango, and the wafer were all lightly sweetened, perfect for my tastebuds. The matcha ice cream was creamy and could be on the top 3 of matcha ice creams I’ve tasted.

When I got to the bottom though, there were rice crispies and extra sweet mung bean paste. I was pretty sure the bulk of the calories were at the bottom, but I figured I should’ve expected that at least.

The place had a calm ambience and the vibe had a nice pace about it. The staff members were courteous and patient.

Finally there's a Tsujiri branch I can go to every week if I want to 128518

It's only very recently that I discovered that I can order the matcha soft serve with additional shiratama balls. As much as I love the Tsujiri Sundae, the red bean paste can be too sweet and the rice could be tiring to chew. So being able to order the matcha soft serve with just the mochi is perfect for me

Needless to say, I love the combination of the two together 10084

So happy that tsujiri is aggressive in branching out, this branch just opened just recently.
For me, sulit na when you just buy the plain matcha soft served. Even though it’s 150PhP for that size, it’s like having authentic Japanese experience already. No need for adzuki beans, i like the plain taste, besides, whopping 100 pesos kaagad when you add those extras.

Just like their other branches, the quality of their matcha was perfect in preparation time, presentation, flavor, and consistency. I can't really ask for more...unless...mochi. :) The bitterness of their matcha is my kind of thing and now I want to go to Japan!

They're still on soft opening but I'm just really happy they finally opened. Every time we'd walk by, I could imagine myself sitting right in front of their location 'cuz it felt so long.
