I ordered the shaved ice on bowl(which serves 2-3persons), only to find out that it's just the ice that may be good for more than 1 person... and inside is just a spoonful of azuki beans and few pieces of rice ball.

Tall shaved ice served in a mid sized bowl makes eating less enjoyable as each scoop feels like an uno's stack-o challenge.

Better luck next order at Tsujiri. 🤞

I satisfied my matcha craving at Tsujiri. This time it was Chiffon Cake Parfait Sundae. I have to admit it wasn’t my favourite sundae but it was tasty nevertheless. The flavour of the cake was barely noticeable because the matcha flavour from the ice cream is powerful. Corn flakes are inferior to rice, too.

After not liking the vanilla ice cream they served in the S Maison branch, I wasn’t too keen on trying the matcha. I still wanted to try it but I knew I didn’t want to go out of my way for it.

Now that their in my hood I knew I had to try it already. Last April I went by my lonesome to get me a cup full of matcha. I don’t really remember what this was called. I think this is the float.

Super good! This was like an ice cream shake with more ice cream on top. Matcha done right. It’s just really big. I guess I’d have to eat this on an empty stomach because super nakakabusog. I’m so glad I loved it.

Tsujiri Sundae P285
Matcha Ice Cream with red beans and motchi. Super yummy! It's not too sweet and it has this slight bitterness. A great balance of flavors.

It was a smooth process availing of the Booky promo Buy 1 Get 1 for the Tsujiri Matcha Float which was a good deal. But without the promo, it’s a bit pricey at ₱195. I’m a big fan of mochi so I really liked the Shiratama balls with soy powder and brown sugar syrup (₱150 per order) and I’ve ordered it 3 times already!

Craving for Matcha Latte so I decided to go to Tsujiri to have some cold drink.

I had Tsujiri + Kinako Kuromitsu for Php180.00 (Large Size). I like the flavor of my Matcha Latte, it’s refreshing and it has the balance taste of sweeteness and roasted soy flavor. The ingredients complement with each other in my Matcha drink.

We proceed to sm aura right after our buffet at vikings and little did we know that well be hooked up on this beloved matcha place for the rest of the afternoon.

So i ordered their matcha float which was pure matcha goodness and solely deserve 5 stars alone.

Matcha bingsu, they call it in a different name but its basically bingsu with hidden gems in the middle. Yes. Its for everyone to find out whats hidden inside but its too messy to eat. Yes. Even jenga players wont eat this without mess.

Matcha cake, forgot what they call this but i was abit underwhelm with the matcha flavor or maybe i was comparing it to osculloc matcha cakes.

Overall im at matcha heaven on new years day. And by the way they have this cute little japanese area thats good for maybe 4 people in the corner and if its your lucky day to visit here you might got the chance to feel abit kyoto on the small square corner of this delightful dessert place.

Matcha lovers rejoice as Tsujiri opened their third branch in SM Aura!

If were to measure my excitement, i am certain that a new record will be set. Tsujiri’s opening is the highlight of my week. All the extra hours spent at work staring a spreadsheets seemed a walk in the park when i had a spoonful of matcha soft serve.

Man, it was awesome. I love the creamy and thick consistency. The matcha is not as strong as i hoped for but it was good nonetheless. I still taste the bitter flavour that i love. Gah, it took me massive amounts of self control not to get another cup.

Tsujiri!!!! Wee!!!!

Peace Out!

When I order they call me Matcharena
And my girls they say she's going to have some Matcha
They all want it
They can't buy it
So they all come and sit beside me
Move with me
Eat with me
And if it's good I'll take home some with me

🤗🤗🤗

If you're a 90s kid like me, I'm sure you can sing that song LELZ!

So, TSUJIRI FINALLY opened a branch that I can easily go to! YASS!!!

First saw the banner months ago and on the 10th of Nov, they finally opened their SM Aura branch! Yay!

First off, the place was nice! Simple and clean interiors, predominantly wood furnishing, faux greenery, well lit and a casual and very relaxed ambiance. What I liked most was this nice nook by the corner that's elevated with a low table and lots of pillows! It's also an ideal spot if you need to charge because I think it's the only corner with charging ports.

I started off with their soft-serve. I've read and heard lots of praises for their Matcha soft-serve so I went to order one in a cup and added Shiratama and Kinako. Don't get the extra kinako coz it's a joke! It was merely a dash 128527 The Matcha soft-serve is the BOMB! It is really good! Thick and creamy with the perfect ratio of milk to matcha. It's not overwhelmingly bitter but not too bland. Lovely for Matcha lovers and a good benchmark for newbies. You can taste the grassy bitterness but also appreciate the milky undertone. Sarap! Best Matcha soft-serve yet!

Downside though is the serving size. Too little for the price of 130php plus it melts so fast!

Then I tried their O-Matcha which is their traditional Matcha. I got the O-Matcha Cappuccino, hot for 140php. Served in a bowl, the server explained that this is the traditional Matcha drink with milk. It doesn't have any sugar in it and they won't give you any even if you beg lol. I didn't like this coz it didn't taste like anything ahahahahaah it had a hint of Matcha but then I realized that Matcha without sugar ain't my kind of thing. It was good for experience though lol

Also tried their Matcha Lava Cake for 230php, served with Vanilla soft-serve. I found this pretty good. Probably because the Matcha Lava was super good! It's oozing and flowing out of the cake! The Vanilla soft-serve went well with it. It was creamy and had a good milk flavor! I can finish this cake all by myself! The cake itself was just okay. It tasted ordinary but with the "matcha chocolate" it was the best!

Going back? Definitely!
