Yummy noodle soup- ordered original halibut noodle soup and laksa combo meal set. The elixir noodle soup did not sit too well with me. Turnip cake in xo sauce was too salty. And the place was hot though it's more of a mall concern. Cold nai cha is soo good

House trio was terrible, so not worth the 498 we shelled out. Porkbuns are better than the ones at Tim ho wan. Order the laksa noodles and hk coffee or nai cha.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here a few weeks ago. We started with their famous Crispy Barbecued Pork Snow Buns which although a bit sweet tasted really good.

Each of us ordered a main dish and were quite surprised at the portions. We had a difficult time finishing our food!

On the table
🔹House Special Trio of Baked Seafood, Wild Mushroom and Pork Chop Over Rice - a very heavy hearty dish that is full of creaminess and loaded with rice. It was real messy to eat though as things spilled over.
🔹Laksa, Sliced Cuttlefish, Fish ball, Hofun + Deep Fried Fish Fillet + Drink - the fish was crunchy but tasted ordinary. My friend liked her laksa.
🔹U. S. Premium Beef Rib and Tendon Curry - meat was tender but the curry lacked that spicy kick.

Ambiance was great, service was excellent, food portions were generous but the only really memorable dish we had was the Crispy Barbecued Pork Snow Buns.

We visited tuan tuan after a long day of work and was really famished. We wanted to have comfort asian cuisine for dinner. Me and my mom shared a bowl of malay laksa and an order of the US rib curry with a cup of nai cha each.

The malay laksa was great as usual. A perfect balance of spice and creaminess of the coconut. My go to place for a quality bowl of laksa here in manila.

The US rib curry was very disappointing. At least the bowl of laksa made up for the sad curry dish. I'll start with the cup of plain rice. The price of the dish is almost 500 pesos and the rice is not even premium. The beef was soft and tasted imported but contained too much potato as extender. We just had 4 small cubes of beef and the rest were potato fillers. The curry was just okay, nothing special.

The cup of nai cha tasted like it was watered down compared when we first visited. I hope they improve the food because they have good restaurant locations.

Dessert Project # 3

Well its not a dessert i know..... Lol butttt i tried the custard bun and well also these lovely pork buns that i've been wanting to try. Just to compare if its really theeee best pork bun aside from THW. Quick review its less sweeter than THW thats for sure. I actually cant even say which is better to be just real about it. The price tho i think its more expensive than THW.

No more tampopo here at promenade! :( it's now tuantuan. :)

We got here around 1 pm but line was still very long. While waiting in line, we ordered a set of crispy pork barbeque snow buns for take out and munched on it to ease our hunger. After around 20mins, our table was ready.

We ordered the following:
*For the specialty noodle soup (Original Laksa+sliced cattlefish+fishball+fish fillet) - laksa was delicious and served hot. But it was very spicy, you won't feel the spiciness until it reaches your throat. I think it's best to eat it with milk tea. Serving can be shared.

*U.s. angus steak with black pepper sauce and mushroom on rice - beef was really soft and tender but not that thick. Meat and rice serving size is Good for 1 person. Also the sauce was not very strong and nakakaumay which i liked. It wasn't bland either

*macau style cajun chicken fillet on rice - i thought at 1st it was curry sauce apparently it was gravy, the sauce was tasty but not overpowering the whole dish. I Like to mix the sauce with the chicken and rice. Serving size is good for 1.

*Milk tea - you can taste the distinct taste of the tea, although it's just full of ice. If you remove all the ice, the drink only fill in half of the stainless mug.

This Chinese style brasserie has really really good Thai Iced Tea! Surprise of the day for me!128516
It was our first time at any of the three branches of TuanTuan in the metro. We arrived pretty early for lunch so we didn't have to wait in line. I enjoyed the atmosphere immediately, very relaxed yet sophisticated at the same time. We really didn't know what to order, save for their Snowy Pork Buns...

We ended up ordering the following:

Snowy Pork Buns-- These are soooo good, I dare say better than THW! 128525 I loved the soft and flaky bun and the mixture of sweet and savory filling. Very tender pork inside. I really enjoyed it!

Pork Ball Congee-- I guess I'm not much of a congee person, so is the bf. Served piping hot with fried curlers, we both thought it was just okay.

House Specialty Trio-- baked seafood, wild mushroom and porkchop on top of rice. Each of the three was mixed with it's own sauce, so it was color-coded on the plate. This dish was made to be shared btw! Hopefully we knew that before we over ordered. But it was okay, we both did not like the seafood portion of this dish, thus that part was left half eaten. Pretty good actually and very filling!

Thai Iced Tea-- they didn't have a carafe available when we visited. But this is sooooo good! Better than Jatujak's version (a Thai restaurant, what are the odds?!), not too sweet with a pronounced aftertaste of tea. Would definitely order this again, but I'm pretty curious about their Horlicks drink. I haven't found one in the Phil that is rave and crave worthy! Looking forward to trying it soon!128522

Service was fast and efficient for this branch. The staff were nice enough and patient.

Happy with our visit!128522

Their pork buns are still a hit for me. But this review will focus on the beef curry we ordered... It was sooo goood! Curry flavor just right and with all the creamy goodness! Very very rice intensive 128514

Another dining option in Greenhills.

Pork Meatball & Century Egg Congee - came with fried crullers. Congee was piping hot and was delicious. No fresh egg.

Seafood Fried Noodle - it was so-so. Nothing special. The noodle used is similar to instant noodles.

*Forgot to take photos of Baked Pork Buns and their Halibut Noodle Soup (mini xiao long bao, fish balls).
Both were really good!

Orders took awhile to arrive. 128078🏻
