Enjoyed their crispy BBQ pork snow buns, deep fried baby squid in aioli sauce, pan fried turnip cake with XO sauce, house special trio ( wild mushroom/ baked seafood, pork chop ) on rice. And Horlicks cold milk.

This radish cake dish is yummy! 128523128077🏻 Tuan Tuan is a bit pricy with few items on the menu but food here has been consistently good. The interiors though are a bit too shiny for my liking.

Different chinese food the noodles soup is fish base which im not a big fan , the honey spareribs is just ok no something special. The noodles taste is ok but its crispy which i dont like. The rice with three topping is good. The real winner is pork bun i can eat 5 in one sitting very delicious. The place is classy and service is good but a bit pricey.

Get the Laksa set. 128077🏼

My work friends have been raving about the laksa from Tuantuan so I've been meaning to give it a shot and it did not disappoint! 128513 I enjoyed the noodles, the soup and also the toppings! It had some tofu skin which I really love! 10084

Their Laksa set comes with a side of fried fish fillet and a drink. Get the iced milk tea! It's the closest thing you can get to an authentic Hong Kong style milk tea! The flavor from the tea is pretty strong and distinct and it's not too sweet. We couldn't get enough of it!!

We decided to order some of their buns - pork and duck. The buns are pretty much like THW's pork buns too, but I didn't quite like that it wasn't very crisp. Their duck buns tasted way better than their pork buns too.

We also had their honey spareribs... But it disappointed me a lot because it was waaaaaay too sweet!!! 128534

Dined here for the first time. Since I was early I got to enjoy the nice ambience of the place. Just felt a bit weird for a resto that serves Chinese food to be playing French music in the background. It must be the brasserie thing.

I liked the food. I paricularly enjoyed the hearty taste of the halibut soup which came with pork balls and shimeji mushrooms. A little soy sauce and chili sauce made it taste better. The fish fillet was quite ordinary though. Tastes like any other.

I finished my meal with a cup of HK coffee. It had a nice caffeine kick that would last me for the rest of the day.

Pork buns were definitely a winner! Duck version was also tasty. U.S. Angus curry is also pretty good but must be paired with rice. Honey garlic spareribs was ordinary though...hubby still prefers the steamed version from Le Ching.

People who loves to eat are always the best people - Julia Child127860

Fri-Yay lunch date with hubby yesterday at SM Megamall and we end up at Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie. I've been really wanting to try this before and finally it happened yesterday. The place looks fancy and fabulous! They really have great interiors, from their doors, to menu book, to wall decors , restroom was so nice too.

Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie is serves Hongkong comfort food. They offered hear laksa noodle soup but u regret that we wasn't able to order it. Here are the food that we ordered.

🔸Snow Pork Buns - (3pcs) if you loved pork buns you'll love it here too, soft and the filling was flavorful up to the last bite.

🔸Nai Cha (hot) - Friday afternoon delight is a cup of this hot, rich and creamy Horlicks. Perfect way to end this work week and to welcome in the weekend! This preferred evaporated full cream milk used by the BEST Hongkong tea masters is right here in Tuantuan! Perfect cup to end my week , so creamy and delicious1280779749️ For only 90 pesos

🔸Angus steak black pepper sauce and mushroom on rice - ( 388 pesos) one of chefs recommendation. The steak is tender and it has corn as side dish

🔸 Fish fillet with pumpkin and crabstick in creamy sauce on rice . (288 pesos) This was hubby's dish and it's extraordinary, haven't seen anyone and tasted like this, so good128076 you must try this one.

🔸Thai milktea

Verdict: the place was lovely , the food was extra ordinary and service was good , nice place for a date just like ours10084127860

This is the 3rd day in a row I'm eating at a chinese restaurant 128514 The Crispy BBQ Pork Snow Buns is always the saving grace whenever I dine at Tuan Tuan. The Honey Garlic Wings and Cantonese Seafood Pan Fried Noodles we had were meh. Wish I just ordered our usuals - prawn curry, laksa noodle soup and deep fried baby squid with aioli sauce. Oh well at least I know what not to order the next time I'm here. Still the best pork snow buns for me! 128076🏼128076🏼128076🏼

Enjoyed their crispy molten custard snow buns, a change from the usual bbq pork filling. The pan fried white turnip cake ( raddish cake) in XO sauce, unlike the other fried raddish cake, this one melts in your mouth, with just the right saltiness, each piece is packed with flavor, add the XO sauce, which is dried shredded scallops, sauteed in oil and some chili. Wash these down with the authentic NAI CHA, a cantonese milk tea, a cold drink made up with tea and Dutch produced BLACK & WHITE evaporated full cream milk, similar to the way they do it in Hong Kong. At the same time enjoy the French ambiance of the resto. Indeed this is also known as CHINESE BRASSERIE.

I can't even count how many times I have been to this place. It is my absolutely go-to restaurant! Whenever I have family from overseas who come over, this is the place to bring them too. Everyone I brought here loves it!

I am a big big fan of HK and Macau food. I have been there a couple of times and of course you would miss their food. So this is a perfect place to satisfy your cravings without the expensive airplane ticket !

My go to dishes would be:
Seafood Crispy Noodle-- too bad it was out of stock
Porkchop with Onion And Bacon Sauce-- very tender and flavorful!
Fish fillet Century Egg with Rice in Soup--very light and clean taste
Nai Cha-- I super love HongKong style milktea! 10084

Can I also comment about the lovely decors! Ugh! I can't help but stare and take pictures each time I come! Instaworthy!

They had quick service and the staff was really attentive to your needs.

Many thanks to you and to your team.

Til next time! 128523127860

In terms of pork/snow buns, are you Team Tim Ho Wan or Team TuanTuan? This got me reflecting which version is better...

Last Black Saturday, since we were staying at a condominium in Mandaluyong, it's just fair to visit SM Megamall and try the restaurants I haven't been to before. My sister wanted to try Manila's franchise of the famous Xiao Long Baos. I've been to Din Tai Fung last year. Will write a review on it next time. So... after DTF, we went to TuanTuan because we only ordered their XLBs and some wontons as our "appetizer" and our mains will be at Tuan Tuan.

First this I noticed when I stepped inside was the awesome modern and bright interiors that feels like France. It being a brasserie was true because the set-up was really relaxing, one thing expected of one. Thanks to Wikipedia's help on this. I'm not sure if I found selections of beers in their menu though. Since brasserie is translated as "brewery".

I first noticed their menu following a format of a newspaper or tabloid. Some of the few restaurantes have this. It took me more time as I indulged on reading it from cover to cover, and included praises and best selling dishes as awarded by blogs and some food enthusiasts.

Let's talk about the food. Most tasted really good but some were just okay. One big comment was that it took them tooooo long to serve our pork barbecue snow buns and laksa, We had to follow it up again and again only to find out that the buns needed 30-45 minutes before it will be served becasue they are yet to bake some. Not sure if this is their protocol but I think something has to be done because not everyone can wait that long. The laksa also took a while because they ran out of broth so they had to cook again.. Hmmm, these are something they have to avoid..

First order that arrived was the US Premium Beef Rib Curry. This was so good you can eat a lot of rice with just its sauce! The serving was quite small though. Imagine one bowl with two-thirds curry sauce and one-fhird proportion of their beef belly plus some potatoes. Meat chunks were sliced like two inches each. Bite size 128514 overall, still liked the dish because of the curry sauce. Will be back for them hopefully bigger serving next time.

Next came the Honey Garlic Spareribs. They were pretty good also. A good twist to the usual spicy spareribs. Serving was also small.

After around 20 minutes before the laksa noodle soup arrived. We got the meal and it came with fried fish fillet (taste was obviously cream dory), and a drink of your choice, I got cold Nai Cha. The laksa was soooooo spicy but i liked it. This is the type of spicy I'd want to eat at home, not outside because of my body's reaction to spices. My sister, a spicy addict, really liked it. Swear, abot ilong ang anghang but despite this, it was irresistible. Came with flat rice noodles, some fish balls, and sliced cuttle fish. This meal cost 518 pesos.

Since we were growing impatient of the super delayed serving of the snow buns, we decided to order their White Turnip Cake in special XO sauce. I disliked this. It was too oily and salty. Also very mushy. We even had to ask for sauce before it was served to us.

FINALLY... Last came the pork barbecue snow buns. Unlike THW's orange-ish colored buns, TuanTuan's is white... true to the name "snow". I don't know if my mood was affected because of the long wait but I think THW's is better because the pork asado filling was more savory unlike Tuan Tuan's which I think lacked a bit taste. Also, I found TuanTuan's bun thicker than THW. Super nakakabusog given the thickness and there was more air inside the snow buns, meaning nakulangan ako sa fillinf ni Tuan Tuan.

Giving them 4.5 stars for the good food, I will surely come back for, the modern and very relaxing ambiance, friendly servers, but I hope to not experience the long wait for the snow buns and laksa next time. Everything was superb if not for that wait.

Now I ask why have I only visited them now?

I loved their pork buns and I think it is better than Tim Ho Wan's. I will definitely go back for their pork buns.

For the other items on the menu, they were just okay for me. I don't usually like curry but I found that their curry was delicious. However, the serving sizes were too small for me.

The service was efficient and the staff were friendly.

However, I will probably go back to purchase prom buns for take out.

Dined at the first Chinese Brasserie in town, different dinning experience with Chinese culinary tradition within a sophisticated yet cozy French-inspired ambiance, where food is delicious, quick, and authentic. We ordered a set specialty noodke soup combo. Laksa, sliced cuttle fish, fish ball, hofun noodle + deep fried fish fillet + included drink nai cha ( milk tea) plain tea with milk, super delicious. ..Their crispy bbq pork snow buns, great meat filling and great taste. The pan fried halibut belly with soy sauce was perfect, slightly salty taste of soy sauce , perfect blend. Must try the pan fried white turnip cake in XO sauce. We know it as raddish cake, soft, and tasty.
Will be back soon
