This little roaster/deli shop offers really good food if you ask me. I’ve been here several times and never was there a time that I got disappointed.

This special order (you have to request for it as it is not in the menu) has roast duck slices and lechon macau, with a cup of rice and a special sauce (Php 200). Although not crispy enough, the duck is packed with flavor that you can already eat as is, but dipping it in their special hoisin flavored sauce will make the flavors explode in your mouth. The pork is tender and has the right fat to meat proportion. You know you just can’t skip the rice when your food is this good!

Anyway, if you’re up for more duck skin, try ordering the duck neck (Php 20/order) and munch on the flavorful duck skin. Yum!

To help cut down the greasy taste, you nay order from their selection of imported sodas.

4 hungry stars! 128523

Upon tasting the lechon and asado on tuen mun roasts, I was transported back to the time when I was eating in a small but authentic roast restaurant near my place in north point HK. The only thing missing was the yellow sauce and it would have been perfect.

But still like all the reviews for this resto, it is the go to place for a quick fix of hk roast food. Would be trying the goose and soy chicken next :)

If one's tastebuds miss the culinary adventures of HK, this is one place that is highly recommended. Their take on Hong Kong's roasted asado and duck give a nostalgic aura to those HK foodies out there. Not only that, but their prices and serving are also very reasonable.

I have already tried some of their dishes here including their pork asado which i really find very good. However i really have not yet dined inside since we always get our orders from its sister restaurant shiok shiok. It was a good idea to finally dine at tuen mun roasts. They got two floors and luckily we were the only one dining at the second floor. The ambience is similar with shiok shiok only a little older and has a low ceiling. The servers are a tad colder here, but they just served us fine. You can already see hanging at tge walls their bestsellers so it would be probably not difficult for you to choose what to order.

128204 white chicken (whole)
Similar to your hainanese chicken, this chicken tastes a tad better than grander restaurants like wee nam kee. They'll serve you in a separate bowl the dip (can you even consider it a dip?) if you want your chicken saltier.

128204lechon macau (500g)
I dont know the difference between lechon kawali and macau. But what ever it is, these thick cuts of pork belly is so good. Truly when you want to indulge some pork belly goodness at banawe, go here. All parts are tender. The skin should be eaten right away as well. I like their asado dip, the flavor just echoes in your mouth.

Take outs of these good food is a good idea, especially if you have potluck party. The price for the two more likely falls PhP1000 because our bill was a little over 1200PhP with rice.

Tuen Wan is a sister restaurant of Eat Fresh and Shiok Shiok, and this resto specializes in roast meats. We took a table at Shiok Shiok and we ordered stuff from Tuen Wan. Very convenient.

I ordered the Lechon Macau and BBQ Roast Pork Asado and at around P170 to P180 (can't remember exact price) its very reasonable if not cheap. Its very good. This is a good 'roasting' place. Even Sandy Daza reviewed the place before and he loved it.

Have you gotten any idea how their roasted pork asado tastes?! Delicious! So tender and good. It's not sweet like as some asado are.

My friend told me it's not that smoked it's just boiled and flavored perfectly, but uhm i really love it!

Oh, you can make cross order from shiok shiok--- i like shiok shiok's newest dish. The salted egg prawn was really good! The breading was a bit exaggerated though but the salted egg flavor was divine!

Tuen mun roasts only got a small space so we preferred to stay at shiok shiok.

My sister shared to me a secret, the best place to find authentic HK Char Siu (Roast Pork Asado). While eating at Bugis just across the street my sister ordered a 1/2 KL Char Siu. I'm not sure how much it was but I think it was around 350-400. We asked permission in Bugis if we could eat the roast pork inside and they gladly allowed us.

That Roast Pork bring back memories of Cafe Coral in HK which is one of my fave go to fastfood. The Roast pork was perfectly bbqued and the flavor was so good. The half kilo is a big serving but can tend to be addicting so I think its good for 3-5pax. 128522

Hole in the wall Authentic Cantonese food. If we didn't pass by this Street, we wouldn't know there's such place as this. The place is really small and most customers are chinese. Enjoyed Chicken Hainanese but didn't satiate me much. The Duck and Chicken hanging inside the glass wall in front catches passers by attention.
I felt that I've had better. Nabusog naman kami. Staffs are slow and didn't give us a bowl of soup kung di pa kami nag ask.

We ordered tuen mun rice, braised noodles with roasted duck and HK iced naicha and it was good considering its pocket friendly price. Okay sana ang dinner namin except for the commotion by the counter. May pinapagalitang bata yung staff na para bang wala silang customers. Feeling yata nila nasa bahay sila at wala sa work place.

Decided to go on a solo adventure to Banawe on the way home last week and went straight to Eat Fresh. I cross-ordered from Tuen Mun Roasts, which you can do.

I got their Hong Kong-style BBQ pork and roast duck plus nai cha with pearls. Tastes legit and pretty affordable at 180 pesos for the main meal and less than a hundred bucks for the drink. Made me miss HK! Well, at least I don't have to go all the way to HK for this.

3 stars for the Roast Duck, White Chicken was alright but failed to match it with the famed Hainanese Chicken of Tao Yuan, 4 stars for Braided Beef Tendon and noodles ( a must when you visit ! ) , Lechon Macau 3 stars. 128522 Service was okay, small space so be willing to wait.

Ate here again yesterday with my kumpare. I ordered their roasted duck + asado rice topping while my kumpare ordered soy chicken rice topping. We also ordered their lechon macau, jellyfish with century egg and fried pork intestine with leeks. Everything we ordered was so yummy. Since eat fresh is also their sister company, I ordered my favorite black and white gulaman for my drinks.

Prices are very reasonable too.

Actually 81A Nicanor Roxas QC, after it forks from Maria Clara. An excellent house of roast. The duck is juice and tender with no red spots on either flesh or bone. The pork asado is also good, reasonably priced at P180.00 for either the roast duck rice or rd/asado combo, no wonder the place has become quite popular. The place is quite small though, so do come early.

My boss treated us to lunch last Saturday (birthday and valentine's celebration). We kinda occupied the entire restaurant. Walk in customers were redirected to Eat Fresh which was just on the other side (same owner, shared kitchen).
As usual their roast pork and roast duck did not disappoint.

Lechon Macau was good. At P130 serving was just right. Skin was crunchy enough but the meat was not as tender as I expected it to be.
My favorite is still Eat Well's. Not sure if their branch in the Fort is still open.
Ordered Takoyaki balls from Eat Fresh and ate it here but will post photo and review in Eat Fresh :)

Will try their lechon macau on my next visit.
