Tus' is yours.

Fairly known for their dishes cooked in clay pots and ovenfired skillets, and their sinfully decadent half-baked cookie, Tus' is a trailblazer on its own. Bordering on homey and comforting, to fresh and hearty, Tus' offers comfort food goodness even outside your home. The name of the restaurant itself means "yours" further encouraging patrons to make the restaurant a second home of sorts.

A mouthwatering spread of hearty pies, fresh salads, steaks and rice meals welcomed us. The rich aroma of the baking breads will make you hungry, I assure you! Out of those that were served, here are the dishes that certainly called out to me:

Salads
Chicken Caesar Salad (P295)

I have grown to enjoy salads recently, and I appreciate Tus' version of this classic as the greens were happily dotted with chunks of chicken and bacon. Protein-packed healthy bites for me!

BLT
This is also a remarkable salad mostly due to its sweet tangy raspberry vinaigrette dressing.

Mains
Sizzling Porchetta
Crunchy and delicious, this is a new version of presenting porchetta! Even when doused with gravy, the pork remained flavorful with a crispy outer skin. Better eaten with rice!

Fideua Negra
This one was served in a mini-paellera, and I love the squid ink pasta taste. I miss squid ink dishes and this fully hits home.

Pot Pies
Out of the 5 pot pies served, I definitely enjoyed the Four Cheese and Bacon Pot Pie, with its wholesome cheesy flavors blending with the bacon bits. Bacon makes everything better, don't you agree?

Chicken Ranch Pot Pie
This one has a more savory sauce in it, still got some cheese on it and that homecooked pot pie goodness you get out of every bite. I appreciate that the ingredients were still identifiable, making this and the rest of the pies such rustic masterpieces.

I am not quite sure though if the crust was made to be tough and chewy, but I would much rather have a flakier or pliable crust to better enjoy the pies.

Dessert
Their Half-Baked Cookie is definitely the bomb! Best eaten warm off the skillet, with a generous ice cream topping! Besides the original Half-Baked Cookie that has been getting its hightime on Instagram and on reviews, they habe launched 3 new equally decadent flavors that are sure to make you want to troop to Alabang sooner than expected. They have Smores, a sinful medley of chocolate and marshmallows; Matcha, a slightly sweeter green tea version with chunks of dark chocolate on top; and lastly Reese's, made from the ever famous peanut butter cups. My favorite would be the Smores cookie!

Tus' was extremely such a wonderful surprise. I rarely go to this part of the South and I can say it's one of those gems of Westgate Center. Looking forward to bringig the boo or my girlfriends to this part of town!

One cloudy Friday, I had the pleasure to dine in one of Alabang's best - Tus. Tucked in the middle of the sleepy Westgate Center, Tus Clay Pots and Skillets sports quite a unique name for a restaurant, and a mouthful too. As explained to us, their name came from the Spanish word for "yours". A reflection on their restaurant's love for food and how they want to give a welcome environment to all patrons and casual diners. What is ours is yours.

Tus offers an extensive menu on contemporary European cuisine. We had the following:

Chicken Ceasar Salad - crisp, fresh salad greens served with a generous amount of chicken, eggs and croutons. This is a great starter. The dressing is enough to coat the lettuce. Good job on the proportionate amount of dressing.

Sizzling Porchetta - a showstopper! Served on an extremely hot sizzling platter, the gravy was poured on top of the crisp porchetta. It is great that it retained its crunchy texture despite being exposed for several minutes, while we took our leisurely time photographing the meat! The sauce was balanced and flavorful.

Fideua Negra - thin, soft and crunchy on some edges, this is a good alternative to rice. Topped with seafood, the squid ink cooked noodles was briny and had the right amount saltiness.

Herbed Butter Steak - cooked medium rare, this steak had nice marbling and cuts easily even with a dinner knife. The butter added a creamy touch to the meat. I love the added french beans, the crunch in every bite is perfect. So is the corn kernels.

Pot Roast Beef - Served with garlic rice! Oh yum! The red wine reduction gravy was a nice touch to the classic pot roast dish. Fork tender, the meat lends well with the garlicky carbs. More rice please to clean the plate off of the left over gravy.

Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Tomato Cream Soup - now, i feel really bad since i was not able to take a bite of the sandwich but the soup was just the way i like my tomato soup. Thick, tart, sweet and the addition of cream just adds another layer of love.

Pot Pies - it was rather sinful diving my fork into one of the pies, i see all the oil from the cheese and meat but I don't mind since i'm having it to share, so you won't feel that guilty. Unless your eating it all for yourself.

Half baked cookie - comes in their classic, matcha, smores! It is a great way to end a meal! Soft, decadent and all too sweet. I love it. Drink lots of water after.

Service was quick, a little more practice on stretching those smile muscles would do them good but over all it was an excellent experience. Chef Krsna Algenio was hands on the kitchen and was a pleasant host together with her partners. When in Alabang make your way to Westgate and visit Tus. Recommended.

Really liked their Blue Marlin steak with aligue butter. Chicken Ranch Pot Pie was good too - like a cheesy pizza.

Magandang araw!

Skillet Steak (Spicy Lemon Pesto)

A stressful event merits a visit at TUS. You know what I came for if you're in the area or have been active on the app for a couple of years now.. Half Baked Cookie!!!128525 The rich and gooey chocolate chip cookie dessert made me temporarily forget my qualm.

I also noticed that they are now offering wine. I promised to make the alcoholic beverage an acquaintance of my uncultured palate this year so opted for a glass. I got the Poggio Del Sol Negramaro Red. The wine had a strong aroma and the citrus fruity taste was balanced well. I also enjoyed the sweet finish it brings in every sip.

It's a good companion as I think of my internal turmoil. I'm starting to understand Alicia Florrick and Olivia Pope on their penchant moments and I loved it. 127863

Alabang is full of restaurant that'll give you a surprise. One of that is Tus' Clay Pot and Skillets. Happen to pass by westgate and was looking for something new to try out. That's when I found some consistent good reviews about the place in |ooloo. Almost 85% of the review gave them a 4 or 5 Stars. That only mean that I must really give it a try.

The place is simple with chop woods and mostly wood finish themed interior. What missing was a lighted fireplace to complete the feel of a vacation house. On the wall going upstairs were some familiar reviews from |ooloo which I've just read haha.. As I was browsing the menu the waiter immediately gave me a complimentary toasted bread. Which I immediately munch since I was really hungry during that time. Then I order one of their specialty the pot pie. I went for the house sausage variant. This pot pies is like a pizza 127829 that is a little overboard. Served on a claypot with a pool of steaming hot cheese🧀 and the homemade dough so good!128525 The size of it was good for 2-3 but since I was alone during that I slowly munch on it and just enjoy the cheesy sausage goodness. I was so full that my plan to try out their dessert was postponed.

Overall this is a nice haven for all the cheese 🧀and pizza 127829 lover. Heard their dessert and steak are also really good. Now more reason to come back. Service by the way also very nice. Waiter was very prompt is refilling my water. 128521

Did you know that Tus stands for Yours in Spanish.  Cool huh?  I ain't here to teach a foreign language,  i am here to talk about our Tus' Clay Pots and Skillets.

I've been hearing great stuff about this restaurant from my foodie friends.  Everyone is raving about the Half Baked Cookie.  I liked my first half baked cookie experience at Bunny Baker.  Suffice to say that my expectations are pretty high.

Interior.  Tus reminds me of an old flames vacation house in Baguio.  The classic furniture and the brick wall.  They didn't go overboard with adding too much instead they focused on creating a homey ambience.

Food.

Naughty x Nice Burger.   Bacon separates them.  Naughty has bacon while nice doesn't.  The burgers was a tad dry but i aint gonna raise hell about.  We took our sweet time taking photos,  hence the food was a lil cold by the time we started eating.

Pasta.  Same as the burger.  I believe there is more to the pasta when eaten warm.

Salad.  This i weally like.  Fresh greens drizzled with raspberry vinaigrette.  Sweet,  tangy and refreshing.

Sweets.

Half Baked Cookie.   Both variants are delicious!  The gooey cookie mixed with vanilla ice cream is decadent. Albeit the sweetness,  i still enjoyed this dessert!  I think humans are predisposed to like cookies.

Albeit all of the food i previously consumed,  i still enjoyed our stay at Tus.  Yes,  it is the cookie.   I plan to go back and consume an obscene amount of their half baked cookies.

Thank you for having us,  Tus.

T'was my friends birthday and I suggested this place where we can hang out since I have been craving for their dishes for a loooong time. hahaha! And I'm glad that I didnt disappoint her. Too bad, i didnt get the chance to try their half baked cookie since we already bought her birthday cake from Conti's. We were so full, that we cannot contain another batch of goodies from Tus'. Their pot pies are awesome. Porky P is the bomb among the pot pies we've tried so far. Their skillet dishes are tasty too! I'll definitely go back to this heaven sent place. Kudos!

Sadly, my last visit to carb land wasn't as pleasing as it was the first time. All the dishes were like rushed. Had the chicken pot pie and there was a piece of undercooked chicken! I immediately spit it out and then there were tough ones like it was microwaved due to it's dryness. The pie was too soggy and the ends weren't as lovingly crusty like beforeand the cheese was so soupy already inside. As for The ribs, it was a little short of flavor this time, I remember it having a strong with distinct cumin flavor last time. It was also a but dry. Don't know if it was bec it was a full house but I donhope they can still redeem their self as I'm still willing to give it another try.

I made sure to have this on my day. Yay!!!

After having dinner, my mom wanted a dessert so I let her try Tus' and yeah I'm badly craving for it for so long.

Half Baked Cookie
•The cookie is softier but sweeter this time. But the ice cream balanced the taste. Ito pa din yung "Halimaw sa sarap"

Affogato
•Hmm. This is good but ... I dunno. May kulang sa panlasa ko or ang tapang lang talaga nung espresso.

Lagi na ako dito kasi mas malapit na ako dito. Hahaha

After our lunch at Alba, walked across to have dessert at tus. I saw on fb that they have ice cream sandwiches now and I especially got intrigued with the 'baby love' - kesong puti ice cream sandwiched between 2 red velvet cookies! Yum! You can also choose from 3 'dips' - pecan, peanuts or chocolate sprinkles. So we got baby loves, 1 rolled in pecans and 1 rolled in chocolate sprinkles.
They arrived right away and they were good! Love the combination of the ice cream and the cookie. The cookie was chewy and tasty. The pecans also added a nice crunch.
Happy to see that the staff hasn't changed since they opened a couple of years back. Just pretty warm inside the store, parang d kinakaya ng ac.

After a heavy brunch with my small group of friends in Westgate, I asked them if they still had space for dessert. Not surprisingly, everyone still had space for dessert. So all four of us, made our way to TUS. I’ve already tried their half-baked cookie before and loved it very much.

When we were getting ready to order, I asked them if they were interested in the half-baked cookie. They agreed and I said, “Okay, we’ll get four of that.” Their reaction was that of surprise, which made me retract my statement and inaudibly mutter that I was simply joking. Truth be told, I thought we were getting one for each person. It wouldn’t be a stretch to think of that because it is such a good dessert. The warm cookie served with cold vanilla ice cream is just the perfect combination. On top of the half-baked cookie, we also got one order of their Churros Con Tsokolate. It would seem quite cheap for just 120 Php, but the serving size was very underwhelming. You can see it in the picture attached above, that it’s just a few short pieces. I think people are paying more for the presentation than the actual food. The serving size disappointment eliminated any competitive advantage the dish had in terms of taste.

We were there at around 1:30 pm and it was so hot. We had to request for staff to turn on their electric fan. They didn’t have sufficient blinds and our party had to inch our table bit by bit to the left just to avoid the heat from the sun.

In my previous visits, I went here for lunch. Just a quick tip, we often encounter restaurants that write statements such as “good for 2” in their menu but once the dish arrives, we are disappointed. For Tus, they say that their BLT and Meatball calzones are “good for 2”, and I will wholeheartedly say that they indeed are. My girlfriend and I struggled to finish one in our first visit here a year ago. I hope they didn’t make adjustments to their portions though.

That’s it for now. Stay mahusay everyone! #TUSisYo

Paid a visit on the night before the biggest loser started in my office. The goal is to eat whatever I want before I start the diet crusade. Ha!

I only have one goal at Tu's: Half Baked Cookie! This visit though, I didn't get to enjoy it much like before. It's still awesome but I noticed the cookie was not as moist as my first experience. I wouldn't mind coming back and I hope I'll have a better half backed cookie moment.

This is by far the most epic way to prepare for a run, it's my first time to join the condura skyway marathon run and so i was at my utmost effort to prepare for it, and luckily this one restaurant in alabang that i've been wanting to try for so long now i'm writing a review about it, alas i've conquered you!

And so since we are to spend the night in alabang to prepare for my 10k run boyfie and i decided to have our dinner date here despite thw fact that there was free food in our room, we ordered their mushroom soup which was the creamiest mushroom soup i've ever tasted and not to mention it's made from scratch, finally something that didn't came from a can! 128518 we also ordered their best selling BLT calzone, well never expected it to be big enough for two 128561 dough was perfectly baked, not too dense and not too burnt, and it was generously filled with bacon lettuce tomato and more bacon! Though im not a bacon lover but it's so good i was mindlessly eating the whole thing, dodn't even became concerned on how much calories i was consuming 128055, another dish we ordered was the spicy tuscan spareribs, by the looks of it you'd be surprised with the tomato sauce beneath it, rich red color you'd assume its sour but upon tasting it's as sweet as your classic barbecue sauce, so delicious and the grilled corn on the side complimented it and to finish it off, we had their special half baked dark chocolate cookie served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the wooden slab topped with chocolate shavings and white sugar clumps to give it a crisp, the cookie was so rich amd delicious i could have ordered another one if we weren't so full, oh gluttony! Haha 128517

Well i really hope i'll have another chamce to go back here and try more of their dishes and more of that half baked heavenly goodness!

I was so excited to try Tu's for the very first time that I ordered almost everything that was recommended to me by my friend. BLT Calzone, Spinach Lasagna, Churros Con Tsokolate, Half Baked Cookie and Pineapple Float.

The only thing I enjoyed was their BLT Calzone which is moist and flavorful. The serving is also huge.

What I hated was their super dry Spinach Lasagna (see photo) and their oily half baked cookie. I prefer Maple's Cookie Skillet than their half baked cookie here. I just also find the pineapple float weird and pricy for P445. Maybe im just not used to drinking my pineapple juice with vanilla ice cream on top. 128534

The interior is beautifully designed with accomodating servers but I don't think I will order these dishes again. All hyped but didn't meet my expections. It's just too pricy for me too.

Bacon croquettes were the best. Not too oily, and very flavorful. Their lemon pesto steak was cooked well but serving was disappointingly small considering they charged P600+ for it. Their signature pot pie was interesting for pizza lovers but not as fantastic as I'd imagined. Lastly, their half-cooked cookie was too soft and undercooked for my taste. There is a difference between gooey and still liquidy!
