TWG did amazing changes on its anniversary week--50% off on all items except their teas! It was a little sneaky of TWG they got low profile and we only found out through a friend's pose ni Christina R. They especially made a menu with the discounted prices and i tell you, it was worth coming here.

TWG has always been the sossy places i wanted to go to. All their branches have a common feel of being locked up in a pile of golden tea canisters and tea cups. And yes, this is my first, i like their music! Very classical. Ballroom feels.

128204128525 french macaroons
128073🏻 quezo de bola
128073🏻 red velvet
128073🏻 128525matcha
Hey green tea lovers, try this out cause it really tastes so dark and good!
128073🏻 128525salted caramel
128073🏻 128525earl grey
128073🏻 special christmas flavor
That red macaron, tasted a little like minty licorice

128204128525 ocean crepe was @150PhP
Impressive smoked salmon crepe. Although the infused tea was not really that dominating (fact i did not taste the tea), the emmental cheese and leeks made it all creamy and tasty.

128204 beef tenderloin was @397.50PhP
This one they got it a little too off. They made it well done and a little medium in the middle. It was a bit tough to eat but above average naman. The sauce was infused with tea and i think i tasted a little wine in there. The blue cheese walnut butter was crying on top of the tenderloin--made it all appetizing. The hash on the sides was not overcooked.

128204128525scallop linguine was @262.50PhP
Nicely done. The cream based pasta dish was cooked aldente. The scallops were cooked PERFECTLY. I was too lazy to eat the shrimps but i got the de-shelled one. It was good as well. "Hands-up head down" (LOL)

128204napoleon tea ice cream was @60PhP
Thin flavors of Vanilla tea and Hazelnut. Macadamia nuts to make the texture great but it was too thin the after taste of sweetness dominates.

128204singaporean breakfast tea ice cream was @60PhP
I love that there's some kind of muffin in there. It tastes a little indian (would you know if it was a mix of saffron/ nutmeg/ cinnamon??)

We were positioned in a very stryegic place--a place where servers cannot immediately see you so you have to wave your hands like you ding care and call their attention many times. So service for this experience is a bit sluggish.

Overall i still love the place. Now we just have to remember the anniversary week. I admire them that they don't need much marketing kasi they really dont need much of it. People who have experienced TWG will always go back. Kaya lang their tea prices are OVERLY high.

I didn't want to come back here after first trying TWG at Powerplant. I had seabass then and it wasn't tasty at all. I felt TWG was extremely overrated and expensive.
This time however, my colleague wanted to have a quick catch-up over lunch and chose the place. Since she's footing the bill, I agreed hehe.
I chose a very simple and not-so-expensive dish, which was their crepe. I forgot the name but it has chicken and mushroom in it. I actually liked it! 128523

Parisian Crepe with potatoes, turkey ham, Emmental cheese, French Earl Grey infused béchamel sauce for me. Delicate and savory, made extra special with the Earl Grey.

Rustic vegetarian Summer Quiche. Surprisingly lighter than I expected. Not too eggy which I liked.

For lunch, one serving is not enough! Bitin!

The aroma of this place always is so intoxicating. TWG has this distinct tea smell that I would buy if they put it in a bottle and sold it. I guess brewing all day keeps the store this fragrant.

Their risotto is a favorite of mine. It's creamy, cooked right, and the sea bass that comes with it is delicious. It's good for one person only and comes with a hefty price tag of at least 1000 pesos. It's the more distal plate on the photo, ordered by my lunch date.

This meal though I tried my luck with the salmon. I wanted something low in carbs, plus I needed to satisfy my salmon craving after Crisp overcooked the salmon I ordered there a few days ago. I specifically told the server to "please make sure my salmon is not overcooked". Sadly it was hard and crusty on the ends. The cut is irregular which is probably why it's easy to overcook a part. She didn't offer to replace it when I told her try didn't follow my instruction. Besides, who the heck eats overcooked salmon? All chefs or cooks know you shouldn't. Next time I'll make sure to return my food and get it replaced.

I almost always don't order the tea to drink here in the store. I feel it's so overpriced for a small pot. I do buy their teas as it's way cheaper to drink them at home. For now I have an aromatic 1837 Green Tea which I drink on its own. Simmered water, tea steeped for 3-5 mins. I also make it into my own version of a better-&-cheaper-than-Starbucks green tea latte by adding soy milk and matcha powder to my tea.

I'll give you a 5 if you promise not to overcook my salmon again.

GREAT PLACE! You are bombarded with different varieties of teas once you enter. Had the Wagyu Burger which was very satisfying! 9/10 man! Macarons, the vanilla kind was lovely. I had the Vanilla Bourbon crepe which was heavenly; I liked the crepe and the vanilla sauce especially but the ice cream was a no, no (forgot what the flavor was) all in all it was a really good dinner for me. Will come back of course but maybe in the far future? Peace

When my dearest cousin annoys the hell out of me and I decided to take a walk to simmer down, my feet brought me here! I've always loved their macarons, they are one of the best places that sells them. The quality of their macarons are consistent, a shiny and crisp outer shell but chewy when you bite into it plus a flovorful filling. These little ones did their job well and washed away my bad vibes! The TWG staffs were very attentive and friendly.

To sum it all up, I am very satisfied and would definitely go back there again to try their teas. SOON!:)

It would not be fair if I will not commend the goodness of TWG's tea. We tried English Earl Grey tea and it is sooo good. For a tea lover like me you will appreciate the rich taste of their tea, that will give you this relaxing feeling. I may sound exaggerated but it's true. We also tried their matcha macarons and for the price of ₱50 each its really worth it. It was such a very fun experience and I will definitely come back soon.

Nothing a box full of macaroons can't fix!!! 128525128525 (Weh? 128541)

Not a Macaroon Expert. To me, all macaroons are the same. Well, except for the price!!! 128541128517

I got to try a little of everything and the ones I liked were the green tea, pistachio, chocolate and vanilla. The one with caramel was too sweet. 128529 I'm not sure if the red velvet's still available but it's good, too 128513128077🏼

TWG offers around 1,000 varieties of tea.

If you're not sure what to get, you can always ask the help of their staff to enlighten you of what tea is perfect for you.

I personally like their Napoleon Tea, which is black tea that has a little bit of caramel in taste. I would recommend that you partner this with TWGs delicious chocolate croissant, scones or macarons.
