I tried their Anniversary Promo last year so this I was looking forward to this promo. From Nov 16 - 20, all their tea infused dishes is 50% off. I always enjoy dining here, the staffs are friendly and knowledgeable, the ambience is very pleasant and their food is really good.

We ordered:

Seared Matcha Salmon - P325
Scallops Linguine - P225
Chicken Fettuccine - P225
Napoleon Tea & Caramel and Matcha - P22.75 each
Crémé Caramel Tea - P195

Fun experience as always.

A parent gave me fruit and nut tea cookies and theyre sooo good! The crust was buttery and crumbly; and the fruit were preserved in a way that they were still juicy and sweet.

Late review9996🏼️

From time to time, Ig Plummer S and I would splurge and dress up and eat in a nice place.

This was our second time, and we will always come back. The ambience was really nice and posh. Service was good. Staff were attentive and very nice when you ask for any recommendations since it gets confusing to choose a tea!

We had burgers since it was around lunch time. Had ice cream and macarons for dessert. It's worth every peso!

When I was younger, I love to play “tea party” with my toys as my guests. (Go blame my sister who was born 6 years later!) I do recall though that I had fun and served real food and air as tea. I guess that pretty much explains why I was a ball when I was a toddler. I never liked real tea though growing up as I found it too Chinese and I hated Chinese food when I was young. (Note: past tense.) But as I transformed to become a foodie I am now, I got so addicted to tea that every time a tea place opens up or when I pass by TWG, my heart skips a beat. Yes, I have a weird attachment to food.

Summer is still here and it’s sizzling hot outside! Yet, all I want last Saturday was hot tea. So off I go to TWG to try another brunch set.

When I arrived, no one was there so I was slightly lonesome. I took my time reading the menu and read the inclusions per set. I went for the Governor set (PHP900) which includes a pot of Tea (I got Private Hour simply because I was alone), a glass of orange or apple juice, Chicken en Brochette, scones or muffins, and a choice of TWG Tea patisserie from the trolley (I chose the strawberry tart).

My tea and main course arrived when A messaged me that she was near. She went for the NY Breakfast Tea, Garden Lasagna (PHP350) and a plate of steak that we both forgot its name.

My tea was indeed green tea based and I love that it has a trace of strawberry flavor. What I do not like about it though is that the pot cannot keep the tea warm for a long period. It was lukewarm by the time I was done with my chicken.

And speaking of chicken, the Chicken en Brochette was superb. The meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. I enjoyed the wholegrain mustard as well. It was like eating chicken kebab English-style. Even the capsicum was delightful!

Next served were my pastries.

The scones were pretty hard and the tea jelly was rather minty. I’m not sure if my taste buds failed me but it was not to my liking. The strawberry tart though was really delicious. I love the crunchy crust and the smooth cream. The strawberry garnish was the last one I ate simply because I was saving the best for last.

Two breakfast sets down, many more to go!

A handful of my friends dislike expensive tea places and I do too. But TWG is an exception. I just love its wide selection of tea and the divine pastries to complement it.

I still remember the first I visited TWG in its first branch in Greenbelt and I instantly fell in love with its savory and sweet dishes. I also loved the classy interiors and the shiny golden tea pot case (or shield?). I’m so glad that they now have several branches and that I do not have to brave the Makati traffic just to have a bite of their strawberry tart!

One Friday night, my friends and I were looking for a dessert place to cap the night. We were not really inclined to have anything chocolatey for dessert. I then remembered my happy place in Shangri-La… TWG, right at the center of the East Wing's mezzanine floor.

I tried the Napoleon Ice Cream (PHP110) and it was served with strawberry slices on top. 127827

It had a nice creamy texture and subtle macadamia taste. The black tea flavor was a bit weak but nonetheless present. What I liked about this ice cream was its sweet yet light taste. It is a perfect dessert for those who dislike rich sweet endings. 10084

We went on a Sunday and at the time, the Philharmonic Orchestra was performing right in front of TWG so the place was packed. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our table even if we were next in line already when we asked for a reservation for 2.

It was my first time ever at TWG and didn't know what to order. I wanted something light only so I got the Eggs Benedict (in smoked salmon). They have the turkey variant too. For my drink, I got the watermelon juice (pure). The place is pricey from P380-P800per dish. The juice at P150/glass was expensive for me since the glass is really smaller than usual restaurant glasses. Their version of Eggs Benedict was so-so. Frankly, I was disppointed to say the least. The english muffin was too hard.

Service was good though. Next time, I'll try another dish and maybe their tea.

I was craving for Macarons earlier today and had a chance to swing by TWG in Edsa Shang. We were welcomed by well trained staff and great ambiance! Bought a box of 12 macarons. Majority of it containing one of my favorite flavors - Matcha. Upon paying, I was told by one server about their Tea flavored ice cream. I mean who could say no to that? Well, of course, as expected, I ordered a scoop of Camelot Ice cream and was not disappointed! The flavors were exploding in my mouth and the creamy texture of it was recognizable. Worth it!!!! Can't wait to try more flavors. TWG never fails to disappoint me :)

Grand Wedding is divine. A great afternoon delight made from black tea with an undertone of peaches which I love. Can't wait to come back and try all their other teas!

Went here for some high tea in the afternoon as we used to do back in HK. When it comes to tea (and tea jelly and macarons), TWG never fails. They have an amazing selection of hundreds of tea blends that it may take some time to find out what you really want to order 128513 No worries as chances are there is a blend for you!

I just wish though that for every tea order, they'd leave the tea leaves in the pot and allow you to request for hot water refills. Kinda blows that you have to order and pay the full price every. single. time. There's probably a reason behind this? I wouldn't know.

Their high tea trays are alright and the scones are delish but I think their tray options could be more loaded. Can't help but think back to HK when I'd leave a high tea session with a happy and full tummy too 128516

I have always admired this place from afar. One afternoon we just went in. We were all TWG virgins and the servers were very patient in answering all our questions. They were very knowledgeable, professional and they did not make us feel uncomfortable for being clueless.

While deciding on what to order, they offered us a sample of their Tea of the Day. The name escapes me but it was Black Tea based infused with Vanilla and Chocolate. It smelled so good. It was light and did not need any sugar (lovely sugar crystals by the way). We ended up ordering this.

We were still full from our late lunch that the four of us shared a Fortune Tea Time Set.

On the table
1 pot of hot tea
TWG Tea Croque Imperial - salmon love!
2 Scones with TWG tea jelly and whipped cream - oh so good but I took out the raisins and fruits embedded in the scones
Singapore Surprise Macaron
Camelot Tea and Praline Macaron - yummy
Silver Moon Tea and White Chocolate with Vanilla and Strawberry

I loved everything on the 3 tiered display and the gold plated teapot enclosure. It was a steady relaxing afternoon. We are definitely coming back.

*their extensive tea list has 400 types
*the big canisters are sold for 75k. These are hand painted by artists from Europe I think
***they sell different kinds of tea sets

Had the Chic tea set, and honestly, I only enjoyed the tea. Hahaha it came with some finger sandwiches, a tiny scone, and a chocolate muffin and tastewise, they were okay naman. But the textures were so strange and it wasn't a very pleasant experience eating them.. And parang they charge way too much for what you get. 128514

I don't really know why, but I found TWG to be quite pretentious? HAHAHA. Oh well.
