So happens that we usually have our business meeetings here thus the place grew on me from then on...

My favs are the seafood garlic pasta and the chicken teriyaki..

Pair it with sumiyaki coffee then it's all history....

My family and I chose to eat at UCC cafe since it was open during the holy week season. The place was packed. I ordered the salmon and spinach pasta. It looked so good but it lacked flavor. I had to add pepper and chili flakes. It had the right amount of cream sauce but lacks flavor. Service was not spectacular but still good. They were just swamped with the amount of people since it was lunch time. I also tried their salted caramel cake. It was good too. It had the right amount of sweetness, not too much and not too less. I'd love to try out their other dessert next time i visit. #50kSummerGiveaway

Nothing special with their sansrival 128532 in fact, it was super chewy and difficult to slice; plus it wasn't tasty as well. The drinks were normal hehe (at least 128513)

the soup spaghetti is not so yummy :( d ko tuloy alam kung mali order ko o d lang masarap gawa here :)

according to 'chismis', to guarantee the food quality, may centralized kitchen mga Japanese cafe to prepare the food in a sealed pack then reheat and plating na lang pag iseeserve sa mga customers :) dunno if same case sa ucc :)

again, 'chismis' lang yan!

After a morning run+walk 128540 I had breakfast here. It's actually my first time to try their breakfast menu 128522 Since I was feeling hungry, I ordered adobo flakes with hot cocoa (this is free btw for breakfast meals)

The serving was huge!!! 128513128558 I was already full just halfway thru. They can definitely improve the garlic rice by using fresh garlic instead of toasted ones; and not stir in the rice while it's still moist. Additionally, the sauce for the flake was an umay-factor. Eating got better when I asked for vinegar instead.

I'll stick to UCC as a dessert/after-meal place than for breakfast 128521

I was looking for a quiet meeting place in the Rockwell area and ended up in UCC. This was a one on one session and the venue gave me exactly what I was looking for. We were given a private nook on the second floor by the very accomadating hostess.

The session went well and the reward was lunch. I decided to veer away from my usual Shitake Mushroom Omelet and order something heavy that would last me for the rest of the day. I skipped breakfast earlier and this dish had to make up for 2 meals. I zeroed in on the Hamburg Casserole and never regretted the choice.

I asked my server what a casserole was and she educated me by saying that it was a dish in which food was baked and served in a deep vessel or salamander. (extra points for Winnie!)

UCC certainly had this one right! The huge hamburg patty was sitting prettily on a bed of lightly buttered rice and held in place by thick white sauce. It was served hot and fresh. The rice was neither sticky nor hard and imbibed the flavor of the butter. The patty was nice and tender and cooked medium well. Eating this was a pleasure and an experience at the same time. This definitely met my 2 meal requirement for the day.

No doubt in my mind that this deserves 5 stars! 128516

UCC's version of Eggs Benedict! Not bad at all! But its less sinful IMO, they used a white buerre blanc type of sauce instead of the hollandaise sauce. But its still good! This is now my fave among their breakfast! 128522128525 JP G Jacy L Telle B shall we start the "eggs ben official club"? Hahaha!

I rarely eat at UCC because I find it too expensive. I figured, if I wanted the coffee, I could just purchase the beans and brew my own cup at home (or in the office)...but, on this rainy Tuesday, I found myself tagging along in today's brunch meeting. 128513

During the meeting, I quietly sipped my vienna coffee while waiting for my french toast. The coffee was creamy (because of the dollop of cream) and a bit strong. I would have stirred two teaspoons of brown sugar where it not for my sweet french toast drenched in syrup. 128513

The french toast was buttery and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness...this went perfectly well with my coffee 128077

Service was a tad bit slow that our boss had to ask the waitstaff to give us our own buzzer since it was difficult to catch their attention128532

I still dont understand why it has to be pricey. Each of their food servings can be found in places in the city with much lower price and much better taste. I dont know but thats just me. Not worth the P200 to spend on a glass of coffee when I know I can spend lesser in other cafes with a genuine and better taste.

One of my favorite coffee joints ever. But what surprised me the most is their killer crispy adobo flakes spaghetti. Omg. It's soooooo good. Don't know why I've tried it only now 128523

An impromptu dinner date with a couple friend led us to Makati, dahil ayaw pang magsi-uwian, we decided to look for a coffee place (and Starbucks is usually a no no during weekends!)

This is one nice place! Well, the entire One Rockwell is 128525128525128525

The preggy got the halo-halo cake and I got their sugarfree tiramisu and brewed coffee. I've always loved their sugarfree tiramisu but I was amazed by their halo-halo cake and how it wasn't too sweet.

Great night cap with great friends!

I was about to have an exam yesterday and I needed to get as much energy as possible to study and take that test. The best solution was to have a big breakfast! :D

I've never eaten here in the morning before so I was shocked to find out they had a different menu for breakfast. Since UCC is a Japanese-European fusion cafe, I was equally shocked to find out they also served Filipino dishes. Between the other dishes which served waffles or bread, I chose the Pork Tocino Filipino Breakfast (P339 + 10% service charge) which came with rice (I was just incredibly hungry that day).

My breakfast came with scrambled eggs, hot chocolate (though you can replace this with juice or coffee), garlic rice, a small salad, and pork tocino.

Loved the eggs though I may just be an egg fan haha. The tocino was a little burnt though so I ended up not eating some of it :(

I also had a problem with the hot chocolate. It may just be the syrup on top but it tasted like they just used the Hershey's chocolate syrup to make it.

It tied to make use of their Internet but alas, their wi-fi was broken :(
