Aside from its wonderful desserts like the halo-halo cake and BTS, UCC Café also serves yummy savory dishes128076🏻

I ordered the Seafood Rice Casserole. It was very delicious! The dish has generous amount of cheese and fresh seafood that are perfectly cooked. The rice was also flavorful. Good thing the curry flavor in the rice was not overpowering.

Prices in this café are a bit steep pero sulit for me given the quality of the food128522 Serving time though is always very slowww.

I love UCC.
The food is quite pricey but I honestly find it comforting.

Who would say no to their Sumiyaki ( charcoal roast) coffee for only Php 190?
Partner it with their cakes. Tried the Ube cake for Php 250-280 ( sorry that I forgot the exact amount) and it was really good. Try their Halo Halo Cake too and you'd enjoy it as well.

After our yummy dinner at Phoenix court, headed over to UCC for some coffee and umm, more dessert! 128522
It was starting to drizzle a bit so luckily, we were able to get a table inside. Checked out the cake display and I remembered a write up about the coco mango (mango coco?) cake so I got that while everybody else ordered their coffee.
Service was so-so IMO, kulang Sa smiles and we had to get the attention of the servers several times to get out water refilled etc.
The cake was good but nothing spectacular. The coco part was more like bottled coconut strips you can find in halo-halo. Btw we had to reach the middle of the cake to taste the coconut.
Coffee was good as usual. Since I don't drink it as much anymore, I just took a sip of their flat white and salted caramel and they were both good.
Noticed though that they had more offerings for full breakfast so I guess I'd like to try that next time.

My mom was craving for quality cakes and sweets and we realized that our area lacks good desserts. Her benchmark is Magnolia House. Wow! That's quite dated. We ended up here and funny how this was her suggestion. A good one at that. I love their food here. We drove over and noticed that most of the restaurants have closed down. Ahw, i hope they get to do something about it. UCC, Zong and Breton are still standing strong though.

We ordered a blueberry cheesecake, a BTS, a caffe affogato for me, a house blend for mom and a single shot espresso for dad. All consumed over fine conversation. We also bought two bottles of their freeze dried coffee. Mom was constantly finding good, strong coffee now that she's gotten older. Way to go mom! I'm so glad. The cakes were only OK for me, but their coffee never disappoints. Had we eaten our dinner here, i'm sure it wouldn't be disappointing as well.

Coming back with mom, next time to try the savory dishes.

Finally tried UCC's halo halo cake, and i super loved it! 128525 It's an ube chiffon cake with all the good things of halo halo sandwiched in between layers. The cake isn't too sweet so it's perfectly complemented by the nangkasuy ice cream with cornflakes. I would definitely order this again128076🏻128156

If you think halo-halo cake is impossible, think again. This is seriously one of the best and one of my most fave cake to date. It's original and very well thought of. It's got layers and layers of delicious halo-halo ingredients that's not cloying. While the cake is soft, moist with rich ube flavor. Have it with your black coffee or tea and surely your day will start and end in a good one. 128149

Had to settle for UCC instead Of Tus' since they had a private event going on 128545 I so miss their half baked cookie 128557

Anyways, ordered their French Toast and 3 cups of coffee, French Toast was served in 10 minutes but it took all of 30 minutes to finally serve our coffee, by the time it came, French toast was already long gone 128529128529128529 pfffft ... pretty poor service (only 4 tables were occupied) 128547

Came here for coffee and cake after our dinner date to celebrate my birthday last sept. 2. We asked for their bestseller cake, and they recommended the Chocolate Xanadu (in picture). It didnt disappoint! Super sarap, moist, and not too sweet. Will definitely come back for this. 128536

Ichiban Blend - P129. A bit steep for a small cup of coffee but IMHO worth the price for the flavor. This siphon brewed coffee is uniquely presented by the server pouring it from what looks like a globular lab vessel or volumetric flask. The coffee itself is mildly acidic, so to taste, I mixed in 1 teaspoon of milk and 1 teaspoon of brown sugar. Heaven followed after that! 128519
