UCC is a home label to various kind of specialty shop. What we tried is UCC Vienna at Mall of Asia for an afternoon snack.

We had caramel latte which is very tasty. It looks like how butter beer should be in actual life. I like how it's served warm and sweet. You can definitely taste the caramel sauce all over it. Then, we had the club house sandwich is in full big serving. Two breads in three layers cut in four triangles served with potato chips. There's also a generous filling of ham, cheese, egg, lettuce and tomato on both ends. It's tasty and well, worth it I guess at Php 320. The grilled cheese is now the bomb. For Php 250, it's probably one of the biggest grilled cheese I've ever been served at. It's bread is toasted like their french toast less the milk to give you that perfect toast. Cheese inside are intact and gooey. It's not too salty, and it comes with this tomato paste they use for their omurice which is an alternative to the usual tomato soup. It's really good!! Plus it has some salad greens and potato chips. It's really worth the price. You're going to be full afterwards.

The place is okay. Very attentive staffs. For an afternoon snack where you opt to stay away from fast food and pizza, this is a better and healthier option.

We were still hungry after sharing an order of fries, well, because it's just fries...128517 So we wandered around MOA in search for something different and unique to this place... But it was hard to do so due to the many, many people EVERYWHERE... The A/C was non-existent along the hallways already and all the restaurants had a waiting list... At 330pm!!!128557128557128557 Why?! Why?!

We passed by UCC and the line looked more manageable... Because of eiLeeN T's post yesterday, I decided to veer away from my usual order of Kori kohi... I decided to try their Iced Sumiyaki and I tried their Bacon Aglio Olio Peperoncino Pasta... The bf ended up drinking the coke (from a fries stall) and tried their clubhouse sandwich...

I'm glad I tried their Sumiyaki! It's stronger than the Kori Kohi but the bold coffee taste was pretty good! You can add milk and simple syrup to customize as you see fit. I really enjoyed it!128525

The Bacon Aglio Olio was okay... It was bland initially, but salt and pepper is all that is needed. The serving is good for one not uber famished person... Since I already ate fries prior, I felt full with my order already... The bf enjoyed his clubhouse!128077

Gourmet Milkshake: Ice Cream Blended with Hokkaido Green Tea - super smooth, creamy, yummy milkshake! I can finish 2 of this in one seating but stiff price of P220 is a no-no. Taste's better than Starbucks, price-wise a dissapointment for the size of its glass.

Accepts credit card. Price + 10%SC

Sorry, i wanted to zoom in on the egg. It looked so cute. I don't know whats wrong with me 128514

My dad was here last weekend and he invited me and Kenrick C to eat before his flight back to Davao. We had a hard time choosing a restaurant in MOA because most of them are super crowded because you know, weekend.

We initially ordered at _______ but we had to wait 20-30minutes for our food to be served so my dad cancelled it upon knowing there's UCC in MOA.

We got to UCC and it was very quiet and not crowded. Yes, because their meals are quite pricey, average number of people come to eat.

I ordered the Gyudon while Kenrick C ordered their Katsu. We opted to order different ricebowls so we can try each other's ulam. :)

My gyudon was served first. It was so good that I did not bother to wait for ken's meal. I was more than halfway done when his meal arrived. So I did not bother trying his meal too 128514

I ordered one extra rice to balance the meal, because it was too saucy.

My dad ordered the same thing but with their famous sumiyaki coffee. :)

It's been really a long while since i've written a review in Looloo! My sister's been constantly bugging me to write a review. Anywhooo,

I love the atmosphere here in UCC. Actually in any UCC branch. I find it really peaceful and usually it isn't always full. Maybe that's why it's always peaceful. 128517 besides that, the staffs are really nice and friendly :-)

I ordered their Gyudon to try out their food for a change. Their coffee is really good though 128077🏼 when i took my first bite it was good. But after consecutive bites, it started to taste really salty :-( what I suspect is that the soysauce overpowered the meat... In contrast, I told the waitress to tell to the chef that the food was abit too salty/too much soysauce. But I feel like they're open to criticism naman 128513

Overall, I don't mind if they're food is too salty, i bet they would try to adjust it to make it more delicious in the future! The ambience is nice and their coffee is to die for! I would recommend this as a hangout chill spot for any people :-D 128077

The place I've been with my 3 closest friends from different cliques. And this is my third time after years of not getting cozy with UCC Cafe. Smoothies and cheesecakes, as always, are my favorites here. They have the right kind of sweetness that appeals to my palate. Upon my return, I ordered the cranberry walnut apple tuna sandwich and the citrus carrot charger. They are like loveteams - they clicked and made my tummy happy! I'm full but guilt-free. 128522128076

I go here when I'm in a rush or I can't think of a place to dine in at MOA.9786128522 I always get their seafood salad because I love the texture and the combination of flavors -- fresh, crisp greens topped with crunchy ebi tempura and fried scallops, plus the tangy Japanese dressing! Always a hit wherever the branch. :)

My staple go-to-restaurant whenever I don't feel like looking for new or cramped places in MOA. A favorite would have to be their Seafood salad, a little pricey but they never seem to skimp on the ingredients. Taste-wise, the dressing is a little tangy which balances the oiliness of the ebi tempura and fried scallops.

Last time I visited, they updated their menu in lieu of the Lenten season.. Which is why I got to order their Tinapa meal.128522 I've always loved Pancake House's tinapa meal and this surpassed that with flying colors. No more troubles of getting the excess bones out or getting the pieces out of the fish because this one is already served in tinapa bits mixed with salted egg and tomatoes. :) super delicious!

I got lost trying to find UCC in Mall of Asia. I rarely go there so I had a "Dr. Livingstone, I presume" moment upon finding it. Forgot to bring my machete to cut down the foliage but that's another story.

Upon arriving, I see our auditor over yonder and proceed to the table. We order up and upon opening the menu, I happen upon the sandwiches. What catches my eye? "Umami Burger".

What is all this fuss over Umami Burger? Being the Curious George (Disclaimer: I don't own the rights to this guy) that I am, I order it and wash it down with lemonade (freshly squeezed daw).

Out comes the food and lo and behold here's what I get:

What UCC served couldn't even pass for a burger. It's just a burger with teriyaki sauce. Now I am all for fusion cuisine so long as it's done properly but this??? Poor excuse for a patty. Half beef, half pork? Really???

And the lemonade? A tall glass but too sweet that I had to ask for another glass to pour half of it and dilute with water. I don't mind sour lemonade but too sweet lemonade just doesn't have that "kick".

Maybe I'll stick to the Shrimp & Kani next time.

Ok ba sa photo composition? 128516

Risha T, Liz T, Ton V and I all met up here to have dinner before the Rihanna concert.

The girls ordered a KitKat mousse cake, while Ton and I ordered the chicken teriyaki rice casserole to share.

I liked our order. The chicken was cooked well, and the teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet. The rice was colored yellow, I'm not sure why. 128514 I couldn't tell what it tasted like. Anyway, it was smothered with thick, melted cheese, so whatever color the rice was, it didn't really matter. 128525

I got a couple of bites from the KitKat cake. I think the outer layer was crushed KitKat, but Chel/Liz said it was the mousse that's KitKat flavored. It was ok. It was a bit too fluffy for me.

Service was slow. The wait staff was really inattentive. We had to call their attention several times for them to give us water or the bill. At one point, Risha had to stand up herself to get the water pitcher. 128078

First time in here. Staff were courteous and prompt even in my place where I was seated, I didn't have to stretch my neck the much to be noticed. But my place had terrible radio signal, both Sun and Globe were useless. I ordered the Cliffhanger and Kiwi juice but both disappointed me. Not made as I was expecting it to be.

I would've rated this experience a 4star had their air-conditioning been working fine.

SM MOA was packed (and I mean REALLY packed) last Sunday and we were wondering why UCC wasn't full. We thought maybe the prices were too high for the people there, but lo behold it was like a sauna when we stepped inside (So that't why!). We didn't want to find another establishment's that's not full so we just stayed there. Good thing the iced water helped us cool down.

The Pork Katsu Sandwich was really good. The pork katsu was really flavorful and the sauce was not too salty. I wanted to get the usual seafood salad but I though I would experiment with the Mango Chicken Tandoori Salad and boy, did I regret this decision! Unless you like super spicy, curry-ish flavored salad, I would not recommend this. 128078128078

My sister and I couldn't find a good place to eat in MOA, thus ended up in UCC.

It was our first time to try out lunch eats at this place, besides coffee & desserts.

First, we ordered Beef Yakiniku Salad. Man! The beef was so juicy & tender! Note I am particular how beef should be cooked for easy-chewing, haha! I loved how it had mixed well with the Japanese dressing. The rest were ordinary salad ingredients - lettuce, tomatoes & grapes.

Next dish came is the Salmon & Spinach Penne Gratin. Downside of this was it's too pricey for the size, but it was delicious & healthy indeed. So a pass for me. Health is wealth anyway!

Best of all, I got to try the hyped Kori Kohi. It's a drink with iced coffee cubes, served with warm milk & honey. The cubes melt while you pour the 2 sides, which made the drink a good mix of bittersweet. It's soooo good that it's now my favorite coffee drink. Worth 200 hundred bucks, it's ok to pay the price, HAHA!

Too late that I discovered they're serving Eggs Ben too! Bah, let's see if I get the chance to eat there again. 128514
