The serving size and price aren't match. Some meals are too expensive for the servings size is too small. The staff are great. Very clean place.

In my two previous visits to UCC, I have only tried their breakfast and Kori Kohi. This time, I had a taste of their cheesecakes. The Strawberry was alright but it wasn't sweet at all. The regular one sadly was, as Jairus d would say, "kampon ni mamon." 🙃

Killed time and had a date with my planner this afternoon. UCC because it's very near the clinic and WiFi is available.

Their matcha parfait is not similar to Kissako's since theirs has a lot of fruits and no matcha jelly, and glutinous rice balls, UCC's version has oruguro (red bean), nata de coco, beans, peaches, some mangoes, and a scoop of matcha ice cream. Overall, it was good but I think too expensive at 240 pesos for the quite small serving. Matcha ice cream was good btw. 128523

Giving them a 3.5 but rounding it to 4 because of the fast WiFi connection and very accommodating servers. 128077🏻

Kori Kohi is iced coffee, as in it's the coffee that's been frozen into ice cubes. I first saw this in eiLeeN T's review and I thought, with this summer heat, this is the perfect iced coffee. Also, with kori kohi, there's no worrying that the coffee gets watered down. The taste actually gets better and better as the coffee melts and the milk gets infused with the coffee's flavor.

First and foremost, thank you for the GC!128525

I was able to use it for a random coffee date with my bf... Full from lunch elsewhere, we decided to go visit UCC for a sweet and a caffeine fix...

I ordered their Kori Kohi, which I absolutely love... I think it's perfect for people who aren't big coffee drinkers or who don't really like a strong coffee taste... Let coffee cubes melt upon pouring warm milk and add a bit of simple syrup, then enjoy...

I forgot what kind of coffee my bf ordered, but we agreed to try their French toast tower with berries... I was happy when the server was walking towards me carrying this... I literally yelped when the waitress set it down and the whipped cream fell from it's perch atop the little stack... 128514

We both liked this French toast tower! Served with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and in this case, blueberry compote... Subtle yet delicious! We were literally fighting for the last piece!128522 Yum!

Sorry, di na kinaya ng whipped cream!128517 Remembered to review this place after going to UCC yesterday!128517 about 20 backlogs to go!128513128513128513

UCC has always been our default coffee place so not surprising to find ourselves here after the sumptuous Filipino lunch.

I had my hot UCC Sumiyaki coffee and Rain D. got Kori Kohi (glass full of coffee ice cubes with warm milk and sugar syrup served separately) as he was complaining about the heat. A couple of minutes later, it was pouring very hard. 128514128514128514

One thing about UCC is that their coffee is consistent! Service can be good or bad but coffee remains excellent.

After-lunch snacks with Roy Lambert T, Eleanor T and Kath A because Roy was nice enough to share his GC with us. Yiiee! 128514

We headed to UCC a tumbling away from our clinic along Tomas Morato. The branch here has two floors, is big and bright. They offer a lot of stuff on their menu. Prices are a bit high starting at 200 to 300 pesos. Staff seemed open to any questions we had about the food and drinks.

Eventually, we settled on three of their cakes: the Red Velvet, Chocolate Ganache and the Coco Mango. I don't remember how much they all cost. We also got their Mixed Fruit Parfait (200 pesos). I liked the Coco Mango cake, although I had to pick out the coconut bits because I'm not a big fan of coconut haha. 128517 The Red Velvet and Chocolate Ganache cakes were at the same level for me and they weren't all that good. Sakto lang. Kind of on the dry side and their flavors weren't really workjng for me. The parfait was okay. There was ice cream and a few layers of fruits such as kiwi and mango (mostly bananas though! 128556) in it. It was okay, nothing really special about it.

Just last June, I went to UCC to try their famous halo-halo cake. I noticed that they no longer serve their cakes in slices, they're all now mini cakes at I think a little bit more in terms of price and serving size. If I remember it right, they now have a wider selection of cakes.

Thanks again and again to | looloo crew Peanut D Odell R Roegan T and the rest for their generosity. I received a voucher for a visit at UCC. I grabbed the opportunity when two of my kids cancelled their sessions today. Since it's just a few steps from the clinic, I tagged Isha S, Kath A, and Eleanor T along. Sharing is caring. 128514

I ordered two cakes and a cup of their famous coffee. Being not a big coffee addict, I just asked the server which one's not too strong and a bestseller. She had two for me to choose from, and I ended up with their ICHIBAN BLEND. It came with a tiny (and cute) pitcher of milk and their sugar. Liked this cup of coffee. Had me going hyper half way through finishing it and ready for my next patients. 128514128514

We also tried their cakes namely, CHOCOLATE GANACHE, RED VELVET, and COCO MANGO CAKE (if I remember the name right, basta the one with mango and color white) 128514 None of the cakes was super duper wow, but they were not bad. The three girls all preferred the Coco Mango Cake among the theee. I was more into the Chocolate Ganache just because the coco mango cake was too foamy and plain for me 128514 The Chocolate Ganache was not the best choco cake, maybe more moist and more chocolate would be better. I like Sugar Stop at Sct Rallos more. The red velvet was okay. Not too moist but not dry that would make it crumble easily. Nice and IG worthy looking though!

Isha got their parfait and it was just the usual parfait according to her. 128517

I thought the place was quite noisy because a lot of people were inside, having their late lunch. Service was an okay.

More than the stereotypical posh cafe, UCC gives customers a gastronomic diversity with their blend of Japanese-inspired and Western food selections. This goes from the scrumptious pizza breads to their surprisingly flavorful ramens, such as the tantanmen I ordered in this branch. Pricy as they may be, one cannot deny the excellent quality that UCC prides of, similar to their coffees.

I had brunch here today. Ordered tocino with scrambled egg and rice. The only thing i liked about my meal was the japanese rice. The tocino was sooo pink - i couldn't help but think how much preservatives it had. And the scrambled eggs were dense and bland.

I liked my waffles and coffee for dessert. the waffles were crispy and perfectly golden brown. The brewed coffee was bold and flavourful.

The prices here are steep. In fact, too much (imho) for the quality of food. Good service tho.
